Deinekatze So good to know, I have a wedding to attend in June (close to your date ) and have a feeling that I will be inclined to really enjoy the evening. Hopefully, I will have a little willpower or your experience.
Jordanna How are you finding this cleanse? I think I love it. I have been down on the scale all week and it has been my TOM.(see how this newbie is picking up the lingo haha) I was expecting my weight to stay then same this week.

I must admit I am a scale hopper...find one and I will weigh...but I find that each morning I have been on IP I have been nervous that my weight will be up, and yet it is not. Sometimes it seems surreal how well IP works.

ibdadozer Welcome! I too couldn't stand the omelette, and I have been having egg white omelettes for breakfast for years. I didn't like the chicken soup either, but some people love it. If you have just started, perhaps you can talk to your coach/clinic and see if you can trade a few packets in. For me personally, I LOVE the premade chocolate and vanilla drinks, and I use the strawberry pudding and the wildberry yogurt as shakes. I also find that with the shakes if you use chilled water (just have a jug in the fridge) they taste worlds better. I have only tried a few of the items, but there are folks here that will be able to give you a ton of ideas, as well as support!
Thanks so much for the tips, I called the coach and we are going to meet tomorrow to swap some stuff out. Someone else suggested getting a couple of spare premixed vanilla drinks to use as creamer in my one allowed cup of morning coffee, I'm going to try that too.

Thanks so much for the support!

Thanks for the info. Those are way cheaper. When you use these instead of IP supplements do you do the same amount as the IP ones?

Really hungry today for some reason. Nothing seems to be working and I
am trying not to have my first real cheat. Then I read the list of food
deinekatze ate. I just want one of those things!!
To make matters worse, I am baking chocolate chip cookies to take to my son at school. No, I won't be eating any of them but if I had pizza or a blizzard all bets would be off!! Not sure why some days are pretty easy and then you are hit with a day like today....

My coach knows . She is fine with it . Also because I still buy my vitamins and my jello from her . I have always ordered my shakes from New Life Style so Im still doing products from IP too.

I've had 26 oz of water so far.

I've planned the IP Chicken Soup for lunch but everyone I've talked to now says it tastes nasty so I'm worried about what I'll do if it does.
Congratulations on the start! I love the eggs so I might not help much. I add extra veggies to make an egg and veg scramble. My favorite add ins are spinach and mushroom. For the soup... uhhh... I have a hard time with those. I can do it but the mushroom is best in my opinion. I have to really work on the chicken for me to like it. I add extra salt, pepper, poultry seasoning (sage, thyme, oregano blend), onion powder, minced garlic and about a cup of cooked veggies (asparagus, mushroom, broccoli, celery, or raw onion usually). I try to get the veggies cooked first then add them so I don't scorch the soup. I also use about 1/2 cup of chicken stock - homemade or low sodium/low carb. It helps keep the flavor high and thins it out some.

Good luck!

First off, good job for making it through week 1!! Next, don't stress. Just explain it was TOM and they will get it. ALSO, when did you weigh? Keep in mind that we don't eliminate all our food in a day and if you are really well hydrated you will weigh in more until your body flushes that out. I can change 5 pounds just from 9am to 7pm! It is all from the water I drink.

Okay so i'm a little frustrated! I am in phase 3 and yesterday was my 2 week final weigh in for this phase and my weight went up almost 2 pounds, from 126 that was my goal weight it has went up 2 pounds per those last 2 weeks so i was at 130, which is where I want to be in maintenance. My coach doesn't like the fact that I have gained in phase 3 and want's me to stay in this phase for another 2 weeks! I thought you were to pick a weight that you'd be comfortable with gaining 3-5 pounds in maintenance? i'm comfortable with 130!! I just don't get it...I really would like to be through with having to WI weekly and just be on my own, but I want to do this the right way, as i've spent LOT"s of $$$ on this program....Ugh! =( also on my scale this morning i was 125 yesterday on my scale i was 127 which usually is the same at the clinic, but i did notice i was in a different room where the scale was also in a different spot. the body fat thingy that you hold on to said i was up 1/2 %, I'm Really tired today, as I have been just about most day's on this diet... Help! what are some of your opinions, as I just love this forum and am so happy to be apart of it =) just sorry I didn't join sooner. Thank you

Hello!! Well I weighed as soon as I got up this morning! Which is usually when I am at my lowest. I have 2 days till I weigh in with my couch so Hoping that the next 2days are better. My period is over so Im a hoping!!
As well I am only taking the supplements that they gave me and not any omega 3's or enzymes at all. I may have had to much salt a few days, as soy sauce is hard for me to eliminate. I will keep on truckin! LOL!!

I have a crush on my health food store guy..he's so nice and has these big brown eyes....don't worry, my husband knows I have a crush on him lol.

I spent about half an hour in there today chatting with him about Ideal Protein and he was showing me some comparable products he has like ISO - 100% which has 0 g of carbs per serving and 25 g of protein. I'm thinking I might use that sometimes to make my IP stuff go farther. He gave me a sample of the berry flavor to try so I'll see how I like it.

He also ordered in a 1000mg Potassium pill recently to help people on low carb diets so that's awesome that I've found a comparable potassium pill

I picked up some WF stuff and DiVinci syrup - I got the peanut butter spread...gulp I'm nervous to try it.

And - my giveaway is up so feel free to stop by and leave me a comment for your chance to win

I had my first WI today. Although I have only been on plan 4 days, I am setting a routine for Thursday mornings. I was down 6lbs, but better than that 5 inches. The even better part of the day was that I knew I had to buy a dress today for a event tomorrow (put it off as long as I could!) I have been a 18/20 for 2 years with no budge. I grabbed several and 18's and they were TOO BIG! I grabbed a 16 it was perfect! For the first time in my life, I enjoyed my shopping experience! I also bought something that had shape as opposed to the sacks I usually buy to hide in!

This is the motivation everyone needs and will keep me going. I have finally gotten passed the headaches and hunger. I have taken several recipe suggestions and that has really helped! Thank you all and I look forward to the support!

This really does work!
