I ordered mine May 9th and just got it yesterday!!

Hi Rhionnan... I ordered my first set from QVC and it only took about 5 days to receive them. I ordered the most recent TJ dvds from BB about 7 or 8 days ago and received an email stating that due to system problems, my order would be delayed by several days. I found out yesterday that TJ has sold out on QVC and they're on waitlist. I'm thinking the problem may be related to the overwhelming demand for TJ. I hope you get yours soon.

Hello ya'll, yes I'm in Texas! I have been reading this thread for sometime and must say that it is quite inspirational to read each of your success and struggles. I finally ordered TJ on 5/10 after watching the ad on TV several times and reading this thread. I understand that it will take some time to receive the DVD's but it sounds like it is worth the wait. I have been walking and using my home gym while I wait. I have been up and down the charts for most of my adult life. I finally realized that I just like food too much and use it to fill voids in my life. I also had a husband who controlled me for 25 years. When I divorced, I let myself go and now I realize that I must get back into shape for health reasons as well as to look and feel better. I know this will be much easier with the support of others who share the same goals. I need to get back to work right now, but just wanted to introduce myself and get started. By the way, I call myself Turbomimi because my two sweet grandchildred call me MiMi. You know it's time to get with the program when your 4 year old granddaughter asks you why your behind is sooo big!!

I think it expired at the end of the day on the 16th. I tried it on the 16th and it worked but didn't end up buying it then. I tried it again the next day and it didn't work. So I'm pretty sure it's expired.

Eblu~~ Hi, nice to meet you. I'm a newbie to TJ and these boards. I've been jamming for 2 weeks and have lost 3 lbs. I love these workouts...don't even want to take a day off. Anyway, I see you'll be in Texas soon...warning it's hot as heck here (I live in the DFW area). You'll probably sweat off 10 lbs. from the heat alone (LOL).

Eblu- I was born and raised in Buckner, MO ( a suburb of Independence). It is such a beautiful state. I moved to Lubbock, Texas in 1983 and just love West Texas. Bobsgirl is right though, it has been extremely hot here too. We are about 15 degress above our normal temps.

Bobsgirl - It's nice to know that there is another Texan on this thread. I'm still waiting for my TJ. I think it's about to ship as I saw the debit on my account this morning. I really need a workout buddy as I tend to do much better with workouts and wait loss when I have someone to encourage and talk with who has the same challenges as I face.

Glad to see some fellow Texans here! I'm in East Texas. Just started TJ last week.

Turbomimi and Calemjess...welcome my fellow Texans. I'm currently participating in a 10-day TJ challenge on another thread on this forum...it ends this coming Friday. I'm sure there will be other challenges or we can create another thread to keep up with each other for support, etc.

I got my first set yesterday :carrot: (ordered May 12th) so the shipment was accurate (6 bus. days) I previewed a little last night and will start in an hour after I take the kids to school.

For anyone who has done the 10 day slim down menu. I was wondering how many inches/pounds you lost. It says up to 10 inches/10 lbs. I may do it but it will have to wait till food shopping day (1st of the month)

So here is how it went:

I did learn and burn (insturctional) then the 20 minute. It was pretty lite I wasn't sweating my heartrate was at a level of a fast paced walk. So I went ahead and did the turbo sculpt next. That one I FELT! My fitness level is about intermediate and I used 5 lb weights. I know I will be sore tommorrow. Hopefully not to sore because I am going to do the cardio party. I previewed it and it looks a little more challenging then the 20 minutes. I will probally use the 20 minute jam for days when I don't have alot of time. Some cardio everyday is my goal!

Oh and my "free gift" was power half hour ab workout.

I'M 5' 9" AND WEIGH 185 (ALSO BIG BONED, promise), IS THIS SYSTEM GOING TO HELP ME? OH, WILL I REALLY BURN 700 CALORIES AN HOUR??? THAT I GOTTA KNOW. HELP!!!
