They are heart rate monitors. I just got one about 2 weeks ago and I love it! It's a Polar F4 and cost about $80. Well worth the money in my opinion. It really motivates me to work harder. I like to see the numbers go up :)

Hi everyone! I a new to posting here, but not to reading the posts. Congratulations to you all for your success!:bravo:
I know that I will be ordering TJ soon, I am just waiting for BeachBody to accept me into their affiliate progam. I tried to talk to my DH about it tonight, and he spoke his mind.:soap: He basically said for me to buy it for fun if I wanted, but he doesn't think that it will help me lose weight, but if it does, fine. He is very skeptical. Especially about info-mercial items. I don't think that he will be as supportive as I would like him to be, and that scares me a little. It looks like I will be going through this on my own. :( I would like him to encourage me, but it doesn't seem as though he will, that is until he can start to see results, but being that he is a man, I won't hold my breath for that to happen. I was SO pumped up about this adventure before I talked to him, but now, I am discouraged. That's why I'm glad I found this site. Everyone here seems to encourage each other. How are the results coming? I can't wait to show DH how WRONG he is! :nono: THANKS!

Don't be discouraged by anyone, I'm sure you would really love it if your DH would be more supportive but just give it time. TJ definately gives you results & it's so much fun to do. You're not alone, that's what this messege board is for. We all cheer eachother on & encourage eachother to not give up when you feel like you're going to. Don't do it for anyone but yourself, so that you can feel good. We're all here for ya. You can do it! Good Luck.

I got mine too! I tried my TJ learn and burn today, and I have never been so gung-ho about trying a workout. I love it!!
It was the perfect length (the "burn" was only about 15 min) to pique my interest and to learn all the moves. I also got YBB, so I did the ballet toning moves and ab work on the basic video tonight after TJ.

I think the eating program is pretty decent. It's everyday food that you can pick up in the grocery store. She does include some protein shakes, which you may have to pick up at a health frood store.
