I have been on the Turbo Jam site and when I put in the discount code it doesn't recalculate and it doesn't say anything about the 3 easy payments. It does say at the bottom when you press submit my card will be charged for the amoount above..$72. I am scared to press submit but I don't know if the payment options are on the next page. Has anyone else had this problem?

I did learn and burn 3 times this week and on the 3rd day I added ab jam. I don't know if you tried the ab jam as of yet but that workout is really challenging. I think I'll keep trying atleast 3 times a week. I'm having a little difficulty doing the moves. Is anyone else having that problem. By the way 2cmeagan-- how did you add your weight loss ticker to your message? Good luck on your weight loss also. You can do it.

Has anyone tried Power 90?
Siennagirl1, I just sent you a PM with my e-mail. Thanks! |
Giving Turbo Jam a try
I am new to this forum and I am excited about losing weight. I have been trying for a while now. I am the proud owner of several work out videos-Taebo: Bootcamp, Pilates, and Core Secrets. I got bored with the video's. So now, there they sit screaming at me, "when are you going to use us again!!!!":carrot:
My work schedule keeps me from having a consistant workout schedule plus I just started my own company and I just need extra time. I was also doing a great class at my local Y: Body Pump but once again my work schedule changed. I was at the Y every other day, I love the treadmill, running and walking for 60 minutes. I want to try out the eliptical machine, but it intimates me.:D . Lifting weights on the days I did not do cardio. I was losing weight the beginning of this year but work became more demanding and I quickly added the pounds back and more. I got discouraged when I had to go to an event and could not fit comfortably into anything in my closet. But, now I am determined to loose weight because I want my body back. . By working with computers, I always research a product before I purchase it and I have been looking at Turbo Jam for a while now. It seems like everytime I watch TV, the commerical is on. Every time!!!! So, I finally ordered the product today after searching through forums on the internet. I found Turbo Jam for a great price on QVC and I will have the DVD's next week. I pray this forum will help me and I send out thank you's out to those who are inspiring me by your testimonies. Goal: 43 lbs over-all Small goal: 15 Need a buddy.... P.S. I do have my high school reunion coming up and I am looking forward to looker smaller. |
I just started Turbo Jam today by doing the Learn & Burn. Hubby is doing it with me so we'll probably be doing that one next week too.
We got both Turbo Jam and Power 90. We are going to be doing Turbo Jam Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. We will be doing Power 90 Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. With this schedule it seems like you'd get the benefits of both. I may add more cardio just for me during the week if I feel I need it. Does anyone have any suggestions on a group or challenge that will help keep me motivated to workout everyday? That's the hardest area for me. |
TURBOMIMI, I THINK YOU ARE GONNA HAVE TO CHALLENGE SOMEONE ELSE.:(
I ORDERED TURBO JAM LAST TUESDAY THE 24TH AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT EVEN CHARGED MY ACCOUNT YET!!! WHICH MEANS IT IS STILL NOT ON ITS WAY, I WOULDNT WANT YOU TO WAIT TO MELT OFF THEM POUNDS JUST CAUSE OF ME, TELL ME HOW IT WENT!!:carrot: |
Turbomimi - thank you so much! It means a lot to me that I can do something after my journey of exercising and the years in that time where I've been trying to lose weight. Haven't figured the losing part yet but I'm really hopeful that with this insulin resistance thing, that it will work. I do love to exercise and I have to say, Turbo Jam has been my FAVORITE so far - but then I bet you already knew that ;). LOL
ChefBran - you won't need any motivation once you try Turbo Jam. I'm already looking forward to my next one the next day when I turn my DVD player off each night. I think knowing which workouts you are going to do when will help you. I don't plan what I am going to do other then I know I do cardo one day and the next sculpting & cardio getting at least two nights of sculpting in a week. But I have a tablet, and after each workout, I write down which one I did and how long it was. Now that I have my heart rate monitor, I also write down the stats - how long I was in my zone, the average HR, the lowest & highest and how many calories I burned. It's an incentive to me knowing it's down on paper. That might help ???? If I think of anything else, I'll be sure to share! LOL PS - let me know how you like P90 - I have P90X since January 2005 and I've never tried a workout. Keep thinking I will save it for when I start losing weight and really need the toning of all that extra flab. HA Maybe I should start with P90 first though. At the time I was doing Cathe Friedrich for over a year so I knew I was ready for the more advanced workouts. Now I'm not so sure. Sigma3 - I have an all school reunion this summer too and I was so hoping to be smaller. Thank gosh there is still time but after over three years of trying, I don't know. I'll be happy if the scale would just start moving again. |
I did the 20 minute workout last night!:carrot:

INCHBYINCH~I haven't opened any dvd but the first one~I've been scared that I couldn't do them so I've put it off.....
If you click on the user pc then click on signature you can add the clicker there~click on mine & it will take you to the counters~make yours~copy & then paste it to your signature.HTH :D AB JAM is on the first dvd too, isn't it?I've only done the learn & Burn & 20 min. workout. |
Loveinet- I don't mind waiting for you to get your DVD's. It just won't be very motivating without a "buddy". In the mean time, I will just conitnue to get used to the workouts. I did the Learn & Burn and the 20 Minute workouts this weekend and they are fun, but I'm in such bad shape that I think I need to build up my stamina, so just hang in there and let me know when you receive your DVD's.
2CEMEAGAIN- Since I am a new jammer too, I would recommend easing into the other DVD's unless you are in really good shape. I am planning a 10 Day Kick Start in the next week or so, would love for you to join us!! |
Are you doing the diet too?I'm on Jenny Craig so I can't do the diet.I just need to get back to exercising consistently.I've been off for 2 weeks just doing my own version of WATP dvds.I plan on doing some TJ tonight!:carrot:
|
2CMEAGAIN- I will do a quick start diet, but probably South Beach. I've had a great deal of success with it. I usually lose about 10-14lbs with their quick start menu. I think those who participated last time modified the diet to fit their taste and budget.
How are you doing on Jenny Craig? Sounds like you are very serious!! I try to walk my two Schnauzers in the evening so I get enough walking, I need to burn fat and firm up the body. I will do the 20 minute workout and maybe the ab workout. It just depends on my time tonight. Need to get back to work. Linda:smug: |
2cmeagain-- Thanks alot for the directions on how to add the ticker. Hey, I see you finally decided to try the work out. How was it. I know for myself it was hard. But I think I caught on quickly. I've decided to stop being scared and try the 20 min workout tonight. So far all I've done was the learn and burn and also the turbo ab (need more work with that one). I hope you will find that TJ is the workout for you. Have a good day and thanks again.
