just ordered my TJ package
Dear all, I am new to this thread..since it's July 4th and am at home from work, I was watching TV and came across the TJ infomercial. I think I have watched it several times in the past but the fact that they were upgrading shipping really made me think about it. I just want to say thank you to everyone's feedback on this website. It really motivated me to make the purchase (plus with all the codes I found I was able to purchase the package for $59 - Thank you!) I still have my gym membership but it's "frozen" so I'm currently paying $10 to keep it open. Now I'm thinking I'll just cancel and do the TJ instead. Anyway, we'll see how things go. Probably won't get the TJ package until next week. :carrot: |
I invite everyone to join in the advance rotation for Turbo Jam on Monday.
Here is the link http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/show...=1#post1327138 see ya there:carrot: :carrot: |

EMAIL_CONF_5DOLLARSOFF Hope it helps someone! I'm glad someone gave me their code. |
thanks for the codes and the feedback. :) We're {husband and I} going to order the first series as soon as finances allow :)

I finally got mine yesterday. YAY! :-) I ordered mine from QVC and it was pretty decent price and got here pretty quickly..

i just got my order in last week i've only done it twice, how do you motivate yourself to workout . . . im having a hard time.
|
frequently-I noticed your posting regarding motivation.
First of all why did you order the video's? Was it to lose weight, to get the new thing that is in style or to just put on the TV bookshelf. I think sometimes we can get the DVD and then don't have the motivation to continue. But, it is important to commit to meeting whatever goal you wish to obtain. There are days I do want to turbo jam then I look in the mirror and say I must change this body....:carrot: then I get motivated to become healthier, energized and tone. I hope you will be inspired to just keep doing the workout because you owe it to yourself. Tracy a.k.a. sigma3:carrot: :carrot: |
I've been doing Turbo Jam for a while now, but I just started doing Turbo Sculpt. Should I be doing it every day?
|
Highly Favored ~~ I would say it would depend on your fitness level, first and foremost. Mostly everything I read suggests completing 2-3 sessions of weight bearing exercises weekly (again I would say it depends on what you can currently do...that may be only once a week). I started off sculpting once a week (after several weeks of only doing the cardio workouts)...but here I am 2 months later, sculpting 3 times a week. I definitely wouldn't do Turbo Sculpt daily...your muscles need a rest day in between sessions. HTH

I agree with bbobgrl, I wouldn't do sculpting everyday - you are not suppose to work the same muscle group two days in a row - you need to give them a rest. I do sculpting two or three times a week with a cardio TJ so I'll add the Turbo Sculpt with the 20 Minute.
Free, I wish I could give you the motivation but you are going to have to find it on your own. It is easier when you find a workout you love to do and I have been very lucky - I enjoy my exercise time and always have. I do enjoy it even more with Turbo Jam though which is why I do at least four days of it. You have to make a commitment - set a time everyday that you will push play no matter what. As soon as you start working out, the time will fly and you will start seeing a difference in your body - that gives you more motivation to keep going. If Turbo Jam isn't your thing, you need to find something that is. There are so many workouts out there to try and so many instructors. Start with a few minutes each day until you build it up to 10, then 20, then 30. Some nights I am so tired that I don't want to exercise. There are some nights I do listen to my body and I give it a break (like last night after being out in the 105 degree weather for 3 hours - I was wiped) but a lot of times I'll just tell myself it's only 40 minutes - I can do it for 40 minutes. A lot of people will just tell themselves 10 minutes - they'll workout for 10 minutes at least - sometimes they end up doing the whole workout, other times they do just the 10 minutes - but that is 10 minutes of not sitting around doing nothing - it's 10 minutes of moving your body. Is there a friend or someone that you can find to be your exercise buddy? I know that also helps some people. Good luck!!!! Rachelle |

For people who didn't know...QVC has Turbo Jam for $49.12. Plus their shipping is cheaper than Beach Body's at only $3.98 so it is pretty well priced and they ship very quickly also.
