Thank you for the welcome, ciecie and tubolard. I didn't walk today because my stomach was upset all day long. I think it was a combination of a higher dose of Metformin and PMS. Hopefully tomorrow is better. I've only been walking for a little while, but I already miss it!

No walk today - bottom of my foot hurts and I think I had better give it a day of rest. Has anyone else had this problem when starting to exercise after a long break? I'm worried that I may just be putting too much weight on my feet...

1 mile Leslie Sansone walk today. I'm pretty out of shape but glad that I can do a mile. I want to take it easy on my foot for a little while, but then I plan to up it to 1 mile in the morning and 1 mile in the evening. 2 miles at once is a bit much for me at the moment.

No walk yesterday or today.

I have to have surgery on my foot, well my toe to be precise. They need to realign the bones so I will have a wire sticking out of my toe for a month, so I am not sure what I will be able to do. My surgery is on Monday so it is right around the corner and I have to admit to being a bit nervous about it. The bad part is my other foot has the same issue and I will probably have to have surgery on that foot as well, sigh. I will try to keep you guys posted on how things are going.

tubolard, I hear you. I'm even afraid of cataract surgery even though everyone says there is nothing to it.
