Blyn, 34 miles added to our total all at once. We were flying for a minute there!! Did anyone get dizzy?

Still jogging on the mill. My legs are still sore but somehow they don't hurt so much during the workout. Also did a bit of jump roping at recess with the kids. They think it is cool that I power jump with my own rope. Many of them have started to do the same. Challenging me and each other. I hope I can keep up!

Default OVER 1000 miles! yahoo

OMG, I just typed a very long detailed message, and when Iwent to post it I got a message saying I wasn't logged in. Of course I hadn't copied it or anything, UGH!

Any way, I will re post later, but in the meantime I have exciting news. We have walked 1,078.80 miles, that include my 32 miles from the past several days. All I have to say is wow, amazing, suprising, and keep up the great work.

We have just passed Janesville, WI and we are heading toward Madison, WI.

Off to my son's socceer game and then to the track to add to that total. Have a great Saturday.

While we're here, here's some Wisconsin facts:

Wisconsin is the number one cheese producer in the nation with
over 2.5 billion pounds produced annually.

Wisconsin produces 2.1 million barrels of cranberries each year.

Wisconsin is the leading producer of Ginseng in the U.S.

There are 1,050 miles of Great Lakes and Mississippi shoreline.

The first circus in the United States was performed in Delavan. The Ringling Brothers put on their first circus performance in 1884 in Baraboo, Wisconsin.

Madison is the state's capitol and has approximately 215,000 people. According to the Chamber of Commerce website, Madison is consistently rated one of the best places to live. The city has 4 lakes and over 200 parks. The city of Madison is one of the few cities that is built on an isthmus (between lakes mendota and Monona). Madison is also home to the University of Wisconsin. Average annual snowfall is 42 inches (good thing we're travelling through during the spring!!).

Didn't have a good day at ALL yesterday! The kids at school were REALLY off the wall and I didn't get my usual steps in. I tried to do a 3 mileWATP and had to stop after 1 mile. I just didn't feel right. Not sick, but odd. So I went to bed early (before 8:30) and got a good night's sleep. Hopefully, I am back to my old self this morning and can get at least 4 miles of fitness walking done! I'm also going shopping, since I have the weekend to myself! I'm looking for a new scale and some 5 pound weights, plus (hopefully) some spring clothes!

Have a great Saturday!

Michele

Taking it easy yesterday and today because tomorrow I'm going to Sea World again. I'm going to exercise today, but I think I'll be doing mostly stretching and weights in order to build myself up for tomorrow.

It's also fun to note that since 2/25/06 (when I recieved my pedometer), I have walked a total of 113.56 miles. In that time, I've also lost nearly 10 pounds! This month alone I've lost 3 pounds with my primary form of exercise being walking. Slow and steady wins the race, and I've learned to love walking so much!

Michele, I think sometimes our bodies just need a break from the hard workouts. I have days like that too... just kind of crash and recuperate -- then hard at it again!! You are doing just great.

Lydia, yippee... I know what you mean about loving to go walking! I am having to force myself not to today as there is just so much to do at home and I want to get this place organized a bit before my niece comes out next month for her visit and our cruise! Plus our kids at church are having a fund raising yard sale for some of their youth stuff and I have a bunch of stuff I need to box up and take to them tomorrow!

But hey, I will get exercise house cleaning and I do have my pedometer in my pocket! Wow how did I ever make it without this awesome Omron one? There is just no comparison to all the others I bought, and several of them cost more!! I love it!!!!! Have adapted to having to wear it in my pocket LOL.

Yeah for me. I broke my consistency. I did many more miles today. I could have kept walking. It was so nice out today. I can't wait to get a peometer so I can track all of my steps throughout the day. I am hoping to get more miles tomorrow. I am wanting to take Emily to the park. Gotta walk alot this next week. Emily's turning 4 on May 1st and I want to make sure I can have atleast one piece of cake.

I had a good walking day yesterday! Between the 3 fitness miles and shopping, I had over 15000 steps! Hoping for an equally good day today! The family won't be home til this afternoon, so I'm planning on doing the 5 mile in a little while. That will push me over 10000 without any other walking. Plus I have quite a bit of tidying and chores to do around the house.

Have a great Sunday!
