Didn't get much done yesterday. I was pretty much a floor potato. I can't say couch potato because I don't have one. Haven't had a chance to move in any furniture. My parents are giving us 2 lazyboys and a couch(if it will fit) and they are getting new furniture. I will be happy to have something to sit on besides the floor. Better yet a computer desk would be nice. I have to use it on the floor til I can get one. I don't need anything fancy just something that won't break and I can use for awhile. Well, looks like it's going to be nice today. Still a little cool out but the sun is shining and I am hoping to get in a nice walk. Take care.

LOL Annie glad you got your computer up and running anyway! When I moved a few years ago I had it rigged up with the monitor on a cardboard box. <GGG>

I am cleaning house today and giving that a priority so probably won't log many steps. I did finally take the advice of others and give up and put this pedometer in my pocket LOL. There is no way it will stay hooked to my shorts with all the up and down, etc. But it is going to be okay there. It IS by FAR the best ped I have ever had!!! And doesn't feel nearly as awkward without the case which hooks it to my pants. I'll be able to use it that way when I am just walking but when sitting and standing a lot it falls off.

My allergies were horrid this morning too... I think I may have forgotten to take my meds yesterday. Took it this morning and it does seem to be kicking in again a bit!!!

We are "unofficially" at 612 miles... so about 10 miles out of Cleveland! We should make it today or tomorrow, depending on whether some of you are more ambitious today than I am LOL

"Floor potato"!!

Actually sitting on the floor is better for you.. You have to get up and down and up and down.

I look for the positive in anything!

I feel like I may have missed something, but oh well. I just don't remember if I walked on Thursday or not...
I was expecting a little more info about our geography on this journey. Am I missing something there too? I'll try to look a few things up later and post. Around Cleveland eh?

Good job, everyone.

Apple I think problem with the geography is no one has the time to research it all so at least from my perspective, if we are going to do it, it needs to be a joint project. I agree it is fun, and perhaps when Dee gets the website up we will feel more connected!

Default website!

I'm having a yard sale tomorrow, but am off from work, so hubby and I will sit down and see what we can do about getting some info for everyone up and running. Hope everyone is having a good day, I've been so busy I feel like I'm running around like a chicken with my head cut off. Take care, and see everyone in Cleveland, lol.

Default Okay Ladies!

Allright ladies, I have started the website. I am having to go back through the posts to see what interesting places we have been. If anyone has anything to add about where we have been, please pm me a message about it. Also, if you have a specific place in any town we are passing through that you would like to see a satellite picture of on the website, let me know. Some towns I can actually show individual houses, etc, if you know exactly which house it is on the street (ie. it is the second house on the left side when coming up the street from the south.. lol.. pretty specific). Hope to have it up tomorrow, or if I get really ambitious, later tonight.

The rain has quit and our back yard was a lake for a while. The warm weather finally dried the back yard up. Everything greened up almost overnight with all that rain. My lilac bushes are budding. YAY

Blyn- DH just told me that his cousin is a doctor at one of the hospitals there in Souix Falls.

Misti- WOOHOO on the 25 lbs. I am shooting for 30 lbs. by Monday.

Dee- That is so awesome of you to get a website going for our trip, and Chris for officially keeping up with our miles.

Annie- On the floor potato. Hopefully you will get some real furniture soon.

Yay team! We have come 629 miles which puts us right in Cleveland!!! Perhaps we can all rest there for the night and get a good fresh start out of town in the morning LOL.

I didn't do any walking today other than out running around, housecleaning etc so did pretty well considering! Hated to give up my Saturday walking but just had soooo much that needed to get done!

BTW I am much happier with my Omron since I gave up and started wearing it in my pocket.

I had an AWESOME day yesterday! It started when I decided to jump on the treadmill for a few minutes before I had to take my daughter to her softball camp. I only did 10 minutes, but it was .58 mile. When I got back, I had promised myself a longer workout since I hadn't done anything over 2 miles since last Saturday. I chose the 3 mile abs WATP. Later in the afternoon, I still had energy and motivation, so I decided I'd do 1 more mile. I chose the 1 mile abs workout. When I finished that one, I STILL wanted more, so I did the Power Mile with 3 pound weights. When I finished, I did the 1 mile Express with the stretchie. I probably could have done even more, but it was getting close to supper and I HAD to shower (lol). It was probably a good thing I did all this because we ended up getting ice cream from the local place. I ate WAAAAY more than I should have, but it was good and I don't do it often.

Today, the Easter Bunny has to go shopping, so I'll get lots of steps in. Sometime, though, I will do at least a mile or two--today is Day 100! Hubby agreed that I can buy myself a reward and I decided to get a stability ball and video to work on my middle. I've had 2 C-sections and need to do SOMETHING to minimize this bulge. When I've lost 20 pounds, I will buy some new clothes.

Have a wonderful Sunday!

Michele

We are currently at 643 miles... best I can tell we are out the other side of Cleveland headed toward Elmore. Best I can tell our next big city is Toledo.

I had an idea about getting the info on the places we are going. There are 15 states we are either going through or going to be very near on our trip. I know that we had agreed to do a little info on the areas we lived in as we went through, but for those states where nobody lives if someone could volunteer to do some research on the state, then we could forward the info to Dee to put on the website, that way she wouldn't have to be doing all the work; or it could be posted on here and maybe added to the website. I live in Montana so I will definitely take care of that, plus I can do Wyoming as I am pretty familiar with that area too. I would do another state too if the interest is low. What do you guys think??
