A few days ago....1 mile, total walked 27.5
The day after.......1/2 mile, total 28
I can't really walk this week because the kids are home from school. If I had a pedometer I'd probably be able to add up alot, since we are visiting museums and parks and stuff. I don't really count that as exercise anyway. It's not aerobic at all. I will however, count 20 minutes of step aerobics as 1 mile, hopefully I can add a bit that way. Hello to everyone!!
Welcome, Sotypical. Nice to have you with us. Also nice to meet a fellow miller.
Another day jogging on the mill. This time with no incline (gotta cut something!! hehe), and I let the mill change the intervals from 2.6 to 4.6 mph. That and my yoga class today has me on an exercise high!!!
I seem to be stuck on 1.5 miles, but it's more walking that I have down in the last year so I'll take it. I am really going to strive to get atleast 2 miles in tomorrow. Keep up the walking ladies.
Days that the steps or miles were logged: 4/19
Steps/miles for that time: 1.5 miles
Total number of steps/miles, to date in the challenge: 50 miles

That's great Annie! Remember it is not about how FAR we get but that we are hanging in there and keeping going!!! I am proud of you for doing so much walking!!
And Apple...up to you but a lot of us (self included) count ALL steps during the day. I take my pedometer off when I get home around 5 because I like to run around the house in a nightshirt LOL. But I put it on when I get ready to leave for work and don't take it off until I get home! I keep track personally of my aerobic steps but the ones I post here are ALL of them!!!
Thanks Misti. I know it doesn't matter how far I go. The best part is atleast I am being consistent. I just know I have more in me. I need to find a time when I can get out and walk alone. I love walking with my husband and daughter, but feel bad because I want to just start walking fast and her little legs just can't keep up with me. I'm going to have to sit down and formulate a plan so I can get in some more miles. I am wanting to be walking 5 miles a day by the end of spring.

OH and Chris... yah I finally figured out the clip on the Omron LOL. They definitely need some better directions on that thing! Now that I have become convinced the only option is to keep it in my pocket I am really loving the thing! Just no way I could wear it on my waistband as I am up and down a lot and the thing fell off my pants a zillion times a day and also was SO big in the case it HURT! But I have adjusted -- don't know what I will do when I don't HAVE a pocket LOL. But it is great for a ped and I love being able to measure my aerobic steps also.
Slow day yesterday. I have lots of papers to grade, so I'm sitting more. But I'm forcing myself to get up and take a walk or run an errand every now and then to increase steps. The weather has turned nice (for Iowa in April), but I haven't had the opportunity to walk outside yet. Hoping to go walk on our HS track this afternoon with a colleague.
Good morning everyone, and a big welcome to the newcomers. We are really cruising Give yourselves a big pat on the back!
I am off to work now, but I'll log in tonight and get the new tally for miles and our new location. We'll be in Seattle in no time, Misti what shall I bring to the cyberparty?
