Wow! We are already through Wisconsin. My older boys have spent time there with their dad and loved "The Dells". I think they told me it is the largest water park in the country.
Had to walk all by myself last night. DH is still helping friend with drywall installation.
I'm only walking also. Weight training is a good idea. My son has a small free weight set that you can adjust the weight on. I can probably do some curls with just the bar.
Today I decided to see how far it was to my parents and other places around town that I walk to so I could get a better idea of how far I was walking. I did pretty good today. I'm not sure what I'll get in the next few days. It's suppose to rain for like 4 days. Bummer. Hopefully, I'll be able to get in atleast a mile. We'll see. Monday is going to be my youngest child's birthday. She's going to be 4. I can hardly believe it. She is my little May Day baby.
Days that the steps or miles were logged: 4/27
Steps/miles for that time: 2.5 miles
Total number of steps/miles, to date in the challenge: 65.5 miles

LOL we are too funny! Here I am bemoaning the fact that spring is here and our gorgeous rains won't be here much for the summer! I love the rain and even today at about 65 degrees it was TOO hot with the sun shining on me!!

Had a gorgeous walk on a nearby track with a colleague yesterday afternoon! It was so nice to get out with a friend and walk and talk! It was bright and sunny and about 70 degrees and I LOVED it! Now it's supposed to rain much of the weekend, so it's back to inside walking. I agree with you, Misti, that when it gets too hot I don't like to walk outside. But it has to be hotter than 70 before I'm uncomfortable. To each her own right?!?
Going to TRY to get 30000 steps done between today and tomorrow. Another challenge I'm involved with has a goal of a HALF MILLION steps in 6 weeks and it ends after Saturday's steps. I was doing pretty well, but my meeting Monday and conferences Wed slowed me down and now I'm behind. I REALLY want to meet this goal, so I have to kick it up a notch (again!).
I didn't walk last night. My allergies are kicking my butt! I was exhausted yesterday, so I just plopped myself on the couch and watch our new NetFlix movie that came in the mail.
Today is a new day and I plan on walking to night with my husband.
Good Afternoon! Thank goodness it is Friday!...the weather here is supposed to be rainy all weekend! I will have to walk on the mill I hate that! I love the rain!...and the cool...no hot for me. Grew up (26 years) in AZ. Way to hot!!. Have a great weekend everybody!... Blyn
