gewenaa I'm also taking Sat. and Sun. off. I work weekends and I don't see myself being able to fit it in on those days.

L1D1 down - got up early to get it done in the morning. Hopefully I will not be too sore tomorrow. I remember last time I quit after day 3 since I could barely move.

L2D4 done! i told myself when i started that if i'm going to have something unhealthy that day it has to be before i work out; and since i usually work out right after i have my honey bunches of oats cereal it hasn't been too much of a problem avoiding the bad stuff. this morning though i just couldn't resist making some sausage, pancakes and omelets for the hubby and i. so i suffered during the work out and wasn't up to par and i'm a little disappointed especially since i performed way better yesterday than today. now i know, just avoid the outrageous breakfast and stick back to my cereal and almonds !! i want to not have any quick breaks on this level before i move on to level 3 even if that means staying on this level a few days more to master it

I did the 30 Day Shred today for the first time, after I found the video on youtube. I liked it a lot!
I started with level 2 right away using 5lbs hand weights, because I used to attend a fitness class at the gym with almost similiar exercises.

L1D3 done!!!

It definitely feels a lot easier now, I started with 5lb weights, I'm considering doing some of the moves with 8lb weights.

What size weight is everyone else using?

L1D4 lunges are so much easier i can get much deeper then before.

SugarRox i'm using 5lbs right now, some moves i feel like i could use more and others i feel like ditching the weights lol

Hi!

CanI join? I used to do the 3ds 6 days a week, about 4 months ago, that with a healthy diet and brisk walking twice a week, I lost about 10lbs, but I gained it back thanks to horrible fevers and sinus infections. I then continued with other cardio exercises, and stopped the 3ds

I like the idea of starting it again on top of my other exercises, perhaps this time I'll do it 3 times a week instead of 5 because I jog now

okay so i started having serious pain in my Achilles heel so the past two days i didn't work out (may have also done some emotional eating yesterday and screwed up any weight i have lost so far) BUT despite my two bad days i did work out today and i'm half way there! time to be more determined for this half! (and buy better food at the store so when i have cravings i don't have anything bad to eat here)
L2D5 done!

Yay it's my first post! I am starting the 30DS and technically today would be the first day of level 1 however I wussed out 30% way through, it's killer. I did not think I was that out of shape until I started the real workouts and I use 5lb dumbells and my arms were killing me,lol. I may either switch to smaller dumbbells or push through the full level 1 workout tomorrow. Also some questions, how do you perform proper crunches without straining your neck, I still cannot seem to. I also perform modified push ups because my upper body strength is pathetic right now, does your endurance and performance get better as you keep on going through level 1? Maybe the reason I was so fatigued is not only am I out of shape but right before trying to complete level 1 I spend 30 minutes at the gym. Maybe for the next 30 days I will concentrate on the 30DS and once that is completely I will move on to different options such as returning to the gym.

I did level 2 for the third time today. Yesterday, my muscles were all sore, but today it's fine.

Ozzie1985 - I think I've once seen an instruction video on youtube! It was some personal trainer having someone do crunches and stuff and explaining how to do it and what to pay attention to. Endurance usually gets better really soon when you stick to a new kind of exercise.
