Isn't there the whole muscle weighs more than fat concept too? Did you take measurements by chance so that even if your weight stays the same, you can see some progress?

I didn't take mine but I have a feeling I'll see if it's working or not... a lot of before and after photos of the 30 day shred have led me to believe I'll see results. I took myself a picture on day 2, so hopefully by day 30 I'm looking a little different!

I'm trying to motivate myself to get up and go do L1D4 of the shred right now.

L2D2 wrist are bugging really bad during the planks so i have my own mod for them. i'm feeling sore all over again like i did when i started but not as bad.

even if the scale isn't doing much my strength and endurance is up so much from what it was before loving it

I really need to start this and stick with it! I've never made it past day 4! You are all motivating me. I must admit though, I am afraid of seeing the scale stop. Off to make my measurements...

Omg im so out of shape. I only lasted 17min and I had to stop.
I was covered in sweat. I guess that's 17min more than I did yesterday.

Hey 17 minutes is better than 0 minutes! The great thing about this dvd is that you can really see your improvement. Soon you'll be doing the full 24 minutes (or whatever) and then you'll be doing it better, then you'll increase your weights, then you'll be doing it faster than the girls and have to keep slowing down!

I took 2 days off and it REALLY helped. I was able to do it better and even increased my weights. squats/shoulder presses were killer, but I DID THEM! woohoo!

(very excited)

So I'm back on board. I'm still on L1, and today was D9, but I want to do it a while longer to better prepare for L2. Or should I just push on? Maybe I'll do two more days on L1.

gwennaa, good for you that you're on L2! Are your wrists any better?

when the DVD first got delivered, I sat on the couch and saw the whole thing
looked eaaaaaaasy peaaaaaaasy !! Today I finally got out of bed early, laced up and followed JM's words to the 'T' and boy o boy.. was I wrong !! i got a$$ whooped !! and I LOVED it !!!
I was dripping in sweat 20 mins later.. great way to kick start your day I must say.. Gonna finish the whole 30 days.. one day at a time !! <-- i love this guy

I'm so happy that "all" I have to do tomorrow is go for a 3 mile run. Jillian is a beast.

L2D4 sadly had to skip yesterday cause we had no power from an ice storm.

Just dance girl- thanks my wrist are getting better slowly with each workout.
