Onderchic, if you're moving your body - in my book = it counts! :cheer2:
--

aww thanks Narnia! such a nice thing to say i really appreciate it! :) and way to go you!!! :cheer3:
yah exactly - Ab ripper is tough, i couldnt do the 25 set, i just did as many as i could before i would collapse from the BURN! and couldnt do the straight legs either hahaha i love Tony. he's so cool!!!
thanks for the advice about the shin pains. yep gonna take it easy on the running. maybe do fast walking for awhile. till i build up the strength, and now that i am doing p90x, i have plenty to keep me busy each day!

no i havent warmed up my shins before running. that's a really good idea i should look into shin stretches , will do that, thanks!
i just looked up some on youtube, they've already helped abit :)

Penguin - aww sweet of hubby. and so nice to hear you are feeling better!

and aww Thanks Penguin!! hehe
-

well girls, i had too much energy, and i just had to move my body. so i just danced in my study room, and boy i worked up a sweat!! hehe i just felt this compulsion to jump about and dance lol. i'm telling ya, its this new way of eating (Paul Mckenna's golden rules) i am doing , i have so much more energy now and cant sit still for long lol.

i did 14 minutes of dancing :) and i'm sweating lol, i just had to put on the fan
no doubt i'm gonna feel it on my legs tommorow lol. but i just did some stretches so hopefully wont be too bad.

so far today i've done 6134 steps.

Plans for today =

30 minutes GGC
30 minutes Free step
30 minutes MFC -cardio
upper body w/s

Echo 08-19-2009 07:33 AM

woohoo Go Onderchic! that is some mighty tough cardio plan you got there! bring it! :cheer3:
---

my exercise confession.

i did 35 minutes of plyometrics (p90x).

5 minutes of cool down stretches.

shin stretches.

i am so happy i have a rebounder (mini trampoline) as it was kinder on my knees and shins. that plyometrics is tough! i couldn't finish the whole 60 minute workout. but boy is it a good work out, was dripping with sweat. but i stopped before i injured myself. as i could feel my shins hurting. they actually do it on the floor with trainers (very high impact) but i used my mini trampoline :trampo:

i feel good :)

thanks Narnia about encouraging me to do shin stretches, they are really helping me :) i found some on youtube, and have made a playlist of them

gonna take a shower now and then have a nice lunch! yum yum. :hun:

have a super day girls! good luck with your exercise regime today.

Go DO IT!! Stop being lazy! :kickbutt: :D
I did the Ab RipperX from it yesterday. It's only 15-18 mins but it is good. Hubby is following the P90X routines. I'm doing my own stuff but decided to add the ab/core workout from the P90X to my workouts.

Onederchic 08-19-2009 08:54 AM

Hehehe :D

I don't want to workout for more than 30 minutes at a time cause it is too hot in this mobile home with no ac :o :|

Onederchic 08-19-2009 08:56 AM

Well..that and for me, I have nothing else to do so breaking my sessions up over the day helps the boredom :S

pintobean 08-19-2009 09:05 AM

If I'm not too late to post here...

Today - Full Body weight training.

Onederchic - Oh breaking up workout sessions to keep yourself busy, I totally understand. And, I bet, it helps you stay motivated that way. Keep up the good work :)

Edit: full body weight training completed.

Onederchic 08-19-2009 09:08 AM

Full body workout, wooo!! :D :cheer2::cheer:

I like the fact that just as heavy boredom is about to strike and I could turn to food and a possible binge, it is time for an exercise session :D

Onederchic 08-19-2009 09:52 AM

30 minutes GGC finished

Good morning everyone :)

August 19th: 33 minutes on the Stairmaster + 9 mins of ab exercises.

Penguin, glad to hear that you are feeling better. Blueberry pancakes...mmm:D

Echo, I love Tony too! I find him quirky but funny and motivating at the same time. You're very welcome, I am glad the stretches are working for you :) A great warm-up/strengthing exercise for the shins is toe tapping. I try to tap while I am sitting at the computer.

Onderchic, looks like you have a great workout planned for today! Way to go :cheer2:

Pinto, awesome job on your workout :cheer3:

Onederchic 08-19-2009 02:16 PM

30 minutes MFC cardio done and upper body w/s done as well

Total today = 30 minutes GGC, 30 minutes free step, 30 minutes MFC cardio, upper body w/s

jendiet 08-19-2009 11:22 PM

well, my exercise routine was non existant again today. I did do some walking at walmart both yesterday and today. very light today, but 3 hours yesterday. However strength (except for carrying 8 bags of groceries) was out the window.

Plus, my side abs are still sore. I have not done any ab work because I want them to heal. what is the deal???

Onederchic 08-19-2009 11:26 PM

Congrats on the walking :cheer:

I am not sure about your abs :(. I hope you feel better soon though

dream710 08-20-2009 07:13 AM

8/18 20 min pilates 20 min ab jam
8/19 21 min treadmill 20 min pilates 1.4 miles
8/20 30 min power sculpt 20 min ab jam 20 min pilates

751/1000
16.27/40

pintobean 08-20-2009 07:40 AM

My core is still very sore from the Ab RipperX workout. OMG, even my quads hurt. And today is day 2 of that ab ripperX. I might not be able to walk later tonight :p

Tonight - Cardio 1 hour (Firm: 500 calorie workout)

I watched this DVD the other day just to see what it was about & whether I could do it or not. I'm not the most coordinated person. I think I burned 200 calories by just watching it :dizzy:. I rented this DVD from netflix. I might buy it later if I like it. I will update tomorrow (if I survive ;)).

Echo 08-20-2009 09:07 AM

well done! Onderchic, Jendiet, dream710 and pintobean.

you girls rock! :cheer2: :cheer2:

LOL!!

===

my exercise confession:

day 3 of p90x.
1. 1 hour shoulders and arms workout.
2. Ab ripper X
3. 25 reps of Ab wheel.

I feel really good, my body feels nice and relaxed. It's a great stress buster. I have an upcoming viva exam in about 1 months time, so really stressing about that, but i find exercise helps me to relax :)

i love p90x! gonna hit the showers now, eat, and then study.

have a super day girls!!

Onederchic 08-20-2009 10:35 AM

Congrats dream, pinto bean and Echo! :cheer2::cheer::cheer3:

Onederchic 08-20-2009 10:51 AM

Hmm..I may switch the GGC to 30 minutes cardio max or some other DVD for today...hmm..

Onederchic 08-20-2009 11:44 AM

Okay I am changing to doing 30 minute cardio circuit with Jillian instead of GGC for today :p
