I am going to join in here, if no one minds :)

I am on a rebound journey to get back on track and I know that for me everything follows my exercise patterns. i took off 35 pounds and maintained that weight for over a year, but major lifestyle changes allowed old habits to creep back in and before I knew it the weight was back on.

The good thing is I know what works for my body and I learned from this whole experience that it all depends on exercise for me. When I am working out out I LOVE it and crave it and eating healthy is very easy. When my workouts slip my eating is close behind, when I pick up workouts the eating is easy again.

So, this is the perfect group for me. I need to get back to exercising and I just know the eating will follow suit. So...I hope no one minds me joining in. I could use the accountablity to get this going again.


Today, my goal is to go for a walk (half hour at least, shooting for an hour though), and to do the Yoga Fat Burning routine from our on demand channel..it is almost an hour long but I used to love doing it, always made me feel so good afteward. I think it's a good start.

August 8th - Stairmaster 30 mins + abs 9 mins.

I am glad that I took yesterday off as I had a lot of energy this morning and was able to push myself on the stairmaster.

9--Bike to the gym and back, about 40 min/13K; 25 min HIIT on the treadmill (maybe 10 reps at 1:30 each); 60-min stability ball class

Its been miserable out today. Its suppposed to rain for the next week, so its very humid,, plus the heat index is near 100* I just checked a weather map and it has a 70* over Memphis. I can look outside and tell them THAT is wrong! Hubby and I went to church, the library, Dollar Tree and TJMaxx and called it quits for the day.

my exercise today:

i did a workout (not sure how long maybe 45minutes will time it next time)
ab exercises, mainly using my ab roller. ab crunches, some stretches etc.
then loads of squats with hand held weights. and arm exercises with the weights.

I ended up walking in the heat and sweating to death at a flea market for over 2 hours yesterday, so counted that as my exercise for the day. Today's goals are:

ok, back to this thread.

Aug 3rd-5th prepared for my trip with lots of cleaning and running errands.

August 5th-9th. Lots of activity. Swimming in the ocean in very strong currents, wading through water for resistance exercise, walking, running across hot sand, pulling beach wagon, climbing lots of steps at the water park at a good clip, lots of swimming, climbing ropes at the tree house, running across hot pavement, carrying heavy coolers.

August 10th: I am determined to do some regular cardio, and some weights. That is my goal.

Narnia, No, I didn't see the tickers! I'll have to go look at them! I did see the new Cathelete t-shirts and thought about getting one. From what I read on the site the XL would be too small. PFFT! My theory is if the site allows you to copy/move something offsite its okay to use elsewhere. I may be wrong here!

TOM is a big poop head. I'm on mine too. It's making me hungrier and just wanting to lay around! ugh!

Thanks for the encouragement ladies. I CAN AND WILL ride a stationary for 30 minutes and do some kind of weight lifting routine today!
