Unhappy I was bad

Well I went to WW tonight and I gained one lb. I feel really depressed over this , I had alot of stress this week. I am having it all over, at work at home, and sometimes even in my dreams, lol. Well I plan on doing better this week. My sugar has been hanging around 130 this week but it was all that good food I was eating . So wish me luck while I get back on track.........I did walk 2.18 miles this evening . Good start hunh...Oh and for the lady that needs a weight loss plan for her husband....go to www.gulecerna.com and sign up for the diebetes planner and it will give you some meal ideas....Hope everyone is doing fine. I will see ya all later.....Angie

HI all,

I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Amber and I'm a diabetic *smile* I've been a member of this website for a month or so now but I've been reading posts off and on for over a year. I was diagnosed in January of 2002. I lost some weight last summer and just started back on the bandwagon. I would like to lose 40 pounds by Christmas and I know I can. It's coming off VERY slowly but surely. I hope I can lend support and receive support from all of you great ladies.

I was just wondering. For those of you on oral medications, which drugs are you on and how much per day. I am on Metformin 1500 MG a day. (I hope no one is offended by this question.) Thanks,

Melissa

Rosetta and Angie- Thank you so much for your advice. I did go to the Glucerna website and it is very helpful. In fact, my Dh hates taking lunches to work, so maybe he can do a Slim Fast type diet with Glucerna instead. Plus lots of veggies and a few fruits. Its nice to know what I should be making/packing him for meals, but it is up to him to change the eating habits. Thanks so much!

Amber - welcome to our thread. We are all here to support each other. Please post office.
Angie - you can get rid of that pound. I know all about stress. Going through some myself right now. Good for you exercising.

Metformin 1500 MG per day and 2.5 MG Glyberide which will be cut out soon as my HA1C is now below 6! Losing weight and watching carbs does help!

Hello. Glen - Good for you joining the Y. Let us know how you're doing.
Ruth are you the moderator for this thread? My A1c is 5.9 but my docs haven't taken me off any medication.
Rosey - you are one lucky lady! Maybe you should hit a casino -- you could break the bank!
I'm still off the wagon. Keep getting more depressed about certain things I can't do much about. It all affects my weight. Sigh.
