I just deleted my post because I was just ratteling on and on. Boring nonsense.

You did well with a 5 hour eating window,Trish. I did 6 1/2 yesterday with less than 1300 calories. Fitbit says I burned 1400+ so I burned more than I ate. The scale reflects that, down 1.4 after not weighing for a couple days,183.0. I was hungry during the night and i think that is glucose going down. I will stop taking meds close to bedtime since doctor did not increase my meds. I know that diet and exercise can work, and I need to make adjustments. No more fooling around.

Step daughter is getting a new-to-her vehicle today. Last year she had trouble getting up their driveway in the snow. This year they got their driveway paved and now she bought a 4 wheel drive Jeep so she should have no problem. I will feel better knowing she has a safer vehicle for driving to work. We dont get as much snow as we used to.

Our PC is also very slow. DH uses it but doesnt care. i only use it for paying bills. I use my tablet for everything else. i bought a laptop because the price was right but I havent set it up yet. i have to decide what virus protection I'm going to use. We have an old laptop that no one uses. I also have a Ipad but I prefer this tablet because I'm used to it. One of the nurses commented that i was smart to bring a tablet to the hospital. The hospital can be very boring. An hour or 2 after they draw blood I can see my results on my portal.

I just ate my first meal at 10:30. Eggs, mushrooms and SL toast. DH had french toast and i ate half a slice. I dont know what we will have for dinner but I expect to have a 6 hour eating window.

My weight today was 161.6 lbs. My FBG 111 and BP 121/67. I'm happy with these results. I will probably have a 5 to 7 hr eating window today. My breakfast has become easier. I eat a cup of cereal with Greek yogurt and 1/2 a banana with my coffee. Then I eat a salad, meat or a tv dinner and sometime a fruit. I finish my lunch with a serving of carb smart ice cream. If my calories are enough to reach 1000, I don't have to eat anything else for the day. This my woe that combines many different things I've learned from other diets. This makes it possible for me to eat 2MAD within 5 hrs. I will try to make this another 5 hr eating window so I will have 3 days of shorter eating windows giving me a good start to keep them low. This woe also keeps my protein and fiber where they should be to satisfy oncologist.

I took the bone pill and waited over an hour before eating or drinking anything because the box said don't eat or drink dairy for 1 hr after taking the pill. I've had a little twinge of upset, but it is bearable so far. Of course only time will tell as this is first dose. Will see how it goes after next weeks dose. I feel it would be easier to do oral at home rather than having to go for a shot or infusion.

Carol Sue I thought about a tablet but DH went online and ordered me another laptop. I actually forgot that I could use my kindle to come on 3fc. I used it when I stayed with Daddy when he got sick and when he was in the hospital. However, I wouldn't want to do everything on it.

I haven't looked to see if Baylor plays today or when because DH will want to watch that today. Cowboys have a week off this week, but I feel like they play so bad this year that they are a disappointment. I'm always a Cowboys fan, but they need to make some changes.

Hope you and all lurkers have a great day.

Trish, i use a 10" Kindle fire to get on line but I also have 2 -7" Fires I bought on sale 2 for $$$ some amount. i use 1 when I go to the casino because it is small enough to go in my purse. But i do not use any tablet for paying bills or other financial transactions because I dont have a virus protection on them. I have a regular Kindle for reading books. it does not go online except to buy and download ebooks. I like that it has a non glare screen so I can read
outside with it.

DH watches some college games, usually Pitt and Penn State. He watches Steelers and other NFL teams that are on. I watch if im in the room but its not important to me.

I watch completely different tv than DH. He watches a lot of car repair shows, auto auctions, poker tournaments. He also likes to sit and change channels all evening. He does not watch movies like your DH does. He will watch part then change the channel.

i watch Emergency room shows, I liike My 600 Lb Life. and 1000 Pound Sisters. I like Dr Pimple Popper.,and of course, my soap operas.

Carol Sue Your DH sounds like my Daddy was. I hated watching tv because about the time I would get interested in a movie, he would change the channel.

I ended up eating 2 meals although I didn't get up to 1000 calories, but I did add a few calories to make it look like I did. I did get hungry later, but decided not to eat anything because I wanted to stay within my IF window and ended up eating within 5 hrs. I now have 3 days of IF under my belt.

Trish, one time we were watching a show and all at once it wasnt making sense. i asked DH what happened and he said, I changed the channel. I went to bed!

DH wanted pizza so I ate one piece. I'm still hungry but the sausage is too hot and theres too much to pick it off. It would be nice if going to bed hungry brings another loss on the scale.

It's 2:46 and I can't sleep! I don't want to take Benadryl but think I have to.
______________________
I took it and slept til 8:30. Its not right. Sleep is a natural necessary thing that your body needs. I should not need to take something in order to sleep. I was tired all day yesterday from not sleeping, so i should have been ready for sleep. i felt like i was but did not fall back to sleep after the first wake up.

I had breakfast at 10:30 Eggs, toast, slice of tomato. No mushrooms. 246 cals, 11 carbs.

Yesterday Donald Trump had a rally at a small local airport. Today he is going to a local McDonalds to fry some french fries. 2 different Mc Donalds are mentioned online. The one near us is the Big Mac Museum. Tonight he is going tovthe Steeler game. Step daughter asked if we are going to see him. i said "If he wants to see me he will have to come here!"

Last week the phone rang. i looked at caller id and it said Donald Trump. 😄. It was the Republicans doing a survey!

On Tuesday a guy is coming to install our garage door opener. Its about time. DH goes up the front cement steps to go into the front door, then goes down to the cellar steps and opens the door. It can be opened from the inside but not fromvthe outside. DH was getting ready to cancel and go somewhere else.He definately wanted it done before snow. I was always worried about him falling on the front steps. Its funny how spoiled you get. The former homeowners didnt have an opener. We got one within a month of moving in. It lasted 43 years.DH installed the first one himself but said hes not doing it this time. If he had a helper maybe. I cant be much help.SIL would help if asked but he works so much hes never available.Step son would make an excuse. just easier to pay someone. They say your kids will help you in your old age! Pfft! DH has helped them with so many things.

Step daughter got her Jeep yesterday but it was leaking antifreeze so she took it back and will get it back Monday. They said they will deliver it to her house. They are within 1 mile.So it will be there when she gets home from work I guess.

I didnt get weighed this morning. I'm going to weigh every few days for a while. I was hungry again during the night.

Weight was down to 159.6 lbs this morning. BP and FBG was good. The way I'm eating now is giving just enough fiber to stay regular although I don't eat high fiber as that gives me problems. So I'm happy with my woe. I do have to take extra Lasix about 3 days a week, but at least I don't have to take it everyday. DH cooks with to much salt which means I need to use extra Lasix a few days.

Carol Sue I'm glad your DH is getting the garage opener fixed. At our age we need to be as careful as possible. Y'all get snow and we get more ice than snow. I try not to have to go anywhere on those days but sometime you have to. We have to stay as safe as possible.

I think that is funny that Trump is going to McD and cooking fries. However fries are easy to do at McDs or any fast food place. He came to my town a while back and was only a few miles from my house, but I wasn't getting around very well then so couldn't go. We did go see him when we lived in SC. I don't like big crowds and was using a cane back then because of my knee and didn't want to go. I'm one of those football fans who has no desire to go to a game. I would rather sit in the comfort of my home to avoid the crowd. My beautician who was also a good friend wanted to go. She was single and didn't want to go alone so I asked DH about it and he surprised me by wanting to go. It was the first and only time I ever saw someone in person running for office. I have to say I was impressed and it was fun. I have to say that politics is wild especially during election time. I really do pray for God to guide me when I vote. I try to research but some times you can't even see what they stand for.

Dinner today is chicken cooked with gravy. I was going to cook a small roast. Beef is expensive right now, but we got a roast and DH cut it in half so we get 2 meals out of it. I told DH I would cook it but I didn't have carrots, but we do have canned carrots, but he wanted to wait till I get the fresh carrots so I'll cook it next week.

Talked to DS last night and she is doing very well. No more problems breathing. Her Hubby got something that fits on the side of the bathtub and she sits on it and it swings into the bathrub so she is able to get a good bath when home healthcare comes out to take care of her. I am so proud of her because she is doing so well. She says she is able to hide her feelings some and if her knee didn't bother her she could walk better. She will ask her oncology team if she can still get her injection treatment for her knee while on immunotherapy. I think she should be able to because there is no surgery involved. From what one of our team nurses told me when I saw her a few weeks ago, I can have my teeth cleaned as long as I'm having no major things done like pulling teeth or having surgery.
h whenand Dallas doesn't play today so I decided to watch DS and DIL Houston Texans. DH will like them if they win. So far they are ahead.

Have a good day.

Trish,,what kind of shots does DS get for her knee. I think cortisone shots spike blood sugar but there are other shots called rooster shots and i dont know if they spike blood sugar or not. I will have to do something about my knee soon.

I heard on tv today that D Trump is kidding about cooking french fries because Kamama said she worked at Mc Donalds. So i dont know.

We get ice, too,Trish but the difference is our roads get treated and people buy ice melter to put on walks, steps, and driveways. We can get fined if we dont

Carol Sue I'm not sure what the treatment for DS knee. I will have to ask her when I can. I got word from DN that DS fainted and they called Home Health care and they took her to the hospital. The last I heard she is being admitted. I hope they find the cause and get it straightened out. I don't know if she has fluid on lung again or not. Praying she will be well enough to get her next infusion on the 28th.

I did almost 8 hr eating window because I needed to drink a protein shake to get all my protein today. Even at that I still ended up with only 1004 calories. It was a good eating day. I hope you can get a good nights sleep and hope I will too. If not I will spend the night praying for DS.

Scale is down 2 lbs to 181, but its due to potty issues overnight. But I'll still take it! I slept but not good. i woke up at 3am and couldnt get back to sleep. Thats when i took Benedryl and Tylenol. It still took a while to fall asleeop. i had my kindle so i read for awhile. I think I'm getting immune to Benedryl.

I will be praying for your sister. i guess theres many reasons for her to pass out. I pray they find the reason and its not serious.

You did very well with eating Trish. I hope you get a corresponding drop on the scale. I was hungry again at bedtime and also hungry during the night and i have a slight headache now.

We are leaving soon for Walmart and Goodwill.

Carol Sue I'm sorry you had potty issues and trouble getting back to sleep. Weight loss is loss. I think we both are finding our own woe. You know I was tempted to go back to strict keto but decided that I would give the way I'm eating a chance. I'm so glad I did.

Weight this morning is down again back down to 158.2 lbs FBG 98 and BP 111/60. I am so thankful this is working. I don't get a lot of fiber but I get what I can tolerate around 13 to 14 g keeps me going throughout the day keeping me regular. So my personaal plan is working for me.

Thanks for your prayers for DS. Perhaps they will find where the fluid is coming from on her lung. When you start cancer treatment you take a lot of steroids and the hospital seems to think that is the problem. I will know more when I talk to her. I haven't called her because mornings are busy with tests etc and I know she will call me when she can. I hope they will be able to get her back out so they can do her treatment next week. If you remember I went through a lot of hospital trips back and forth in the beginning. I think it was reactions to some of my treatments. I got better when they tweaked some of my treatments. I pray that will happen for her as well.

We are having lasana today. Total calories will be 1204 within 8 hr eating window.

Have a great day.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Talked to DS and she will have lung drained tomorrow. She has to be off Eloquis for a few days. She didn't take it yesterday or today so hopefully she will get back home in a few days.

I didnt sleep well. only 4.5 hours . I have been awake since 4 am. After DH got up i was going to try to go back to sleep, but he took the garbage out and set off thr security alarm so back up! I'll just stay up.

I wasnt hungry during the night but woke up hungry. I think I figured out that if im hungry during the night Its low blood sugar, so my liver releases glucose in the morning so im not hungry. Not hungry during the night liver does not release glucose so im hungry.

The garage door guy just arrived . Rusty will be barking for the next few hours.

BIL is coming at 9 to get some things DH has for him. He gets up very early but DH told him not to call or come here before 9. We used to get up and he would be in the driveway,or he would call and say "Im in the driveway." The garage door guy is also coming between 9-11.

I have a few financial issues to resolve today.

I bought a couple laundry baskets at Goodwill so I can do a better job sorting my laundry. I dont like to make piles on the floor in case i dont finish in one day. Im very backed up doing my clothes. DH does whites, blue jeans and towels most of the time but i wont let him do my clothes. i want them done my way. He uses hot wayer and hot dryer for everything. Not my clothes! I use warm water and low dryer. The dryer runs longer but the clothes dont wrinkle or shrink!. He just doesnt understand. I have sheets to do, too.

I wonder why someone donated their laundry baskets to Goodwill. Are they not going to do laundry anymore? I think a lot of times someone passes away and the family donates their things.

I have to go to the local grocery for something they didnt have at Walmart but i dont remember what it was. Im wracking my brain trying to remember but i cant. I want radishes and a bag of kale but i just forgot them. They also have baked beans that Walmart doesnt carry, and usually cheaper chicken for Rusry. But there was something else, and i told DH i could get it at the local store. The local store is more expensive, and you have to watch expiration dates because things get old. Their bags of chicken tenderloins get icy and freezer burned. Their ice cream always has ice in it. But they are never crowded and you can easily rush in for a couple things. The deli will not cut your meat the way you want. You have to take what they have already cut. You also have to watch the dates on their meat, especially chicken. But they have very good 3 day sales. And its only 1 mile from our home, maybe less. They have a good fresh produce department. We always get our potatoes there and also cabbage for stuffed cabbage. But DH doesnt like their ground beef. So when i make stuffed cabbage rolls I have to go there for cabbage, and to the grocery store in the next town for meat. Silly! Im about due to make the stuffed cabbage rolls. Tomorrow is SS day, so we can buy everything for it. I love cabbage rolls. If i didnt marry DH i would probably never learn to make them. They are not hard, but time consuming. About 2 hours prep time and 4-5 hours cook time. In the summer i cook them in an electric roaster out on the deck and the whole neighborhood can smell them. One day we were cooking steak inside on the grill pan and the neighbor asked DH what we were cooking because he was getting hungry an his wife hadnt even started dinner. Our houses are pretty close together.

This is another post that i should delete because im going on and on.

I did not get weighed, but I did eat breakfast already because DH will be too busy to cook it once things start happening here. I think my eating will be off all day because I ate so early. Today, DH told me he doesnt eat breakfast anymore. But he does if we eat at Bob Evans or McDonalds. And he eats Twinkies with his coffee. So he does eat, and not necessarily healthy. Maybe hes on a diet again. He hasnt had Pastaroni for lunch in a while.

Bad news! The garage door guy was here and they gave him the wrong thing, so he can't do it today. So we go back to the bottom of the list to wait for installation.

Carol Sue sorry you have the wrong parts to fix the garage opening. I pray you can get it fixed before the weather gets bad.

My weight stayed the same as yesterday and my FBG and BP still good. I am thankful for that. We are having homemade CB because I have ground beef burger patties that we need to use. Once I'm out of these patties, I won't by them any more. DH likes McDs better so we will just have McDs once a month or so. We eat takeout usually once a week.
Haven't heard from DS. I haven't tried to call because they are supposed to drain her lung today. I hope she gets to go home tomorrow if not today. She has labs at oncology tomorrow although she could do it Thursday or Friday and get her info back before infusion. The main thing is to try to stay on routine with immunotherapy. DH read that you should stay on your 3 week (21 day) plan and not change the days. Mine is on Friday and DS is Monday. It seems to indicate that the treatment works better if you don't mess with the routine,

Got to get busy with exercises. I want to get 4 days done this week and Friday exercise will be walking at the store.

Have a blessed day everybody.

I lost my poast again and it wont come back.

I hope they get your DS lung fluid drained so she can get on with her treatment.

Today I had a discussion with DH about the casino, and he told me all i think about is food and eating! Am i goung to have fun with that, next time he asks whats for dinner. He knows i would rather not eat dinner, but its the main event for him. For me, breakfast is the main event. I would be thin if i didnt have to eat every time he did! When i met him he told me "You are thin, you can eat whatever you want, and you dont have to exercise!". Boy, did I prove him wrong. Now hes, singing a different song.

The book about exercise explains how the thinking about exercise has changed. Before it was all about intensity. Now consintency is more important than intensity. This is why I think you are doing so well keeping up with it.

DH wont eat burger meat thats been frozen because it gets water in it. He will only eat them with freshly bought meat. He likes McDonalds or Wendys. I do not like fast food burgers. I like home made or restaurant.

Carol Sue I used to lose posts all the time on this old pc. I still have some problems with typing 2 words and the second work jumps ahead of the first word. Not happening as often as it used to but has happened a couple of times. I got my new pc and DH is setting it up with things from his PC that we both use and then I will add 3fc and other things that I want of my own tomorrow.

DS got her lung drained and will go home tomorrow. Said she will call oncology to make an appt to get lab draw so she can get infusion Monday.

I ate 1269 calories today. After I said I wouldn't buy HB patties again, DH said "If we are going to make these at home, we need to get HB buns because he didn't like it made on regular bread because it fell apart on him.

Exercise and calories done within 5 hr eating window. I am so happy with how things are going. Pray I can keep it up. I have to say that I sleep really good these days. I hope it will continue to be this way. I hope you have a good nights sleep.
