I had a cup of oatmeal this morning at Bob Evans,then we went to Goodwill and bought a few things.
On to Walmart and spent $90+. Not sure what cost that much!
I ate a couple spring rolls for lunch because the cup of oatmeal won't hold me til dinner. Dinner will be beef roast or steak. Depends on what DH wants.

Weight this morning was 158.2 lbs. which was a nice surprise. Had an omelet and added greens to it. Today we will have wings. So I'm the cook today. Exercises are all done.
The wings were delicious. I'm slowly learning how to cook tasty ones in the air-fryer. DH was upset with me because I forgot to put the paper I bought to place in the air-fryer to make it easier to clean. I will remember next time. They don't put as many wings pieces in a bag as they used to. I used to get 2 meals out of a bag, Now once I get as many pieces as we will eat there were only 2 pieces left. I cooked them and there was a time I would have eat them, but I didn't do it this time. In fact, I didn't eat all my salad either. I decided that I don't have eat the food just because it is there. Saved half of the salad for tomorrow. I consider this an accomplishment.
DS said that her DH took his Premier Protein shake and froze it and ate it as ice cream yesterday. I always have a difficult time trying to figure out what to eat at suppertime. So I took one of the caramel protein shakes and added some ice and blended in my Magic Bullet and put it in the freezer hoping to eat like ice cream later.
Calories today will be barely more than 1200.

Trish let me know how your protein shake turns out in the freezer after putting it in the Magic Bullet. I have a generic Magic Bullet that I could use. I wanted to buy more shakes today at Walmart but I forgot. I have a few left.
DHs brother said his neighbor put an exercise bike out for trash and hes been riding it. He has it outside between the trailers. He says there's no room for it inside but he could make room. It will get ruined in the rain and cold weather. He needs to do that.
Before I got a chance to ask DH what he wanted he cooked dinner. He made a dish he invented that we like. He cooked the ground beef that was left from the hamburgers and fried some potatoes and mixed it with cream of mushroom soup. I like it with green beans but he made it with peas. My friend named the dish Surplunky. She makes it with sausage instead of ground beef. Im glad he cooked because I didn't want to. I will cook tomorrow. (Maybe!)
This morning I did some exercises in bc ed and the rest was walking in the stores.
MFP says I had 1300+ calories today. That is maintenance calories. I need to be around 1100 to lose.

Carol Sue The premier protein frozen reminded me of the ice milk that was sold years ago as ice cream. However, I read it needs to be frozen for at least 4 hrs or even overnight, but I probably frozen it for almost 3 hrs if that long. It was very tasty and felt like a treat. I made a chocolate shake with some cottage cheese, and it is in the freezer now for my supper later.
Weight this morning was 158.8 up .6 but that isn't considered weight gain. I am on a carnivore group for women 60 and older. I asked them about carnivore for cancer because I wanted to know if anyone was using it while on chemo. I got this answer. (my summary)...
What they do know for certain is that sugar (including starch, grains, processed carbage) feeds cancerous cells. She said there is also researching that confirms toxic seed/veggie oils release cancer causing aldehydes. They say these products also have inflammatory impact, which can exacerbate pain and serving from both the cancer and the chemo treatment. So it is recommended to avoid these compounds to get nutrition from meats, single ingredient whole foods which can allow healthy cells to function properly. She then sent a research statement that say When it comes to cancer it is thought red meat is a bad thing, but new research from the University if Chicago has shown that a nutrient found in red meat and dairy products may support our body's ability to infiltrate and fight off cancer cells. The nutrient in question is called trans-vaccenic acid. TVA is a long-chain fatty acid our bodies cannot make by themselves,
I think this may be why I have fallen in love with cottage cheese, Greek yogurt and some cheese I never cared for before. So I will continue to try to keep calories and carbs in check and keeping this woe in mind at the same time.
Going to Sam's and Walmart today. KFC is on the menu today. I have leftover salad from yesterday and my Greek yogurt dessert ready as well. So I will be OP and calories will be less than 1100 and total carbs 30 g.

I have posted twice today but my post won't hold. What am I doing wrong?
Weight is up .8 to 182. I already over ate today. Step daughter made Eggplant Parm yesterday and wanted me to try it. I ate it for lunch and I'm stuffed. I even gave up my eggs today to try her parm!.
I have to pay bills today. My life is getting out of control!.
For some reason I am locked out of Twitter. I am in contact with them to find out why and restore my account. Its usually something you posted but I can't figure out what I said. If they don't tell me how will I know?

Carol Sue FB doesn't refuse for me to go on the site, but many times they tell me something I posted was not true, but doesn't tell me anything either. It irritates me because I don't purposely post anything not true and would like to know what it was. I have had times I could not post and figure I'm being punished like a child.
Calories are way more than originally planned. There was a lady at the store who needed a ride home or close to her home and DH decided to give her a ride so we didn't want to double back for KFC so we got McD's DB. My calories will around 1400. I'm not able to keep my carbs as low as keto and probably won't worry about that. My FBG is pretty good and so is my bp and I am having regular bm without any problems so I would like to keep things functioning as it is.
I got chunks of beef that is used for stirfry, but I plan to use it in my egg omelets instead of bacon some days. This will get more red meat in my diet. I've never had eggplant parm, but I used to cook chicken parm but DH decided he doesn't like it. So like many things I like it is another thing I like that goes by the wayside. LOL Does your DH like the eggplant parm?

Weight 157.6 and FBG 110 and I'm in low ketosis which I don't really care to be in heavy ketosis. Checking ketones until I run out of the strips but not sure I will continue testing when I run out of them. I think as long as I'm eating to get the TVA from red meat and dairy along with exercising will help me a lot.
Half exercises done and steak is on the menu today as far as I know. DS said her DD is going to be in town today and might come to see me, but I'm not sure she will since she is here just for partial day yesterday and tomorrow with only a full day here today. So not sure she'll have time to come by. DH wasn't supposed to tell me but DGS wants to cook dinner for my birthday, but DH wants to take us all out to eat. Can't do it on my birthday because I have NP appointment and infusion tomorrow. So he is working on seeing how he can do it when his girlfriend is available. I don't know what to call her as they live together and have 2 sons together. She is a sweet girl and teaches nursing at one of the hospitals so not sure when she is working.

Scale up 1 more lb today to 183.0. This is how it just creeps up. Its annoying. I was bouncing around the 170snow I'm bouncing around the 180s. If you don't get a handle on these things when they happen before you know it you are back to 200. This is very scary for me. I don't want to be comfortable thinking "Its only 1 lb,,". Because those pounds add up. 199 is not 200, but its very close. So I have to make changes.
DH informed me that we are going to the local casino today. I told him that this is the day he chose so don't decide on Friday that we are going again. He says he can't get the machine he wants on Friday but I told him he does not win on Wednesday. They pay out better when there are more people there feeding money into the machines.I wish I could change his mind. If he doesn't win he will want to go back on Friday to try again.
DH won't eat Eggplant Parm. Years ago we used to eat Chicken Park at Kings Restaurant. He no longer wants to eat red sauce. He eats Pastaroni for lunch almost every day but it is either Alfredo sauce,cheese sauce, or butter sauce. There are a lot of things I make with red sauce. My mother used to make veal parmesan and it was delicious. She used veal cutlet.
I am back on Twitter but I will never know if I did something wrong. I try to be agreeable. I look at pictures of pets, food, and at posts about diet, exercise and health. I sometimes comment but often just " like". I will try not to comment as much. Sometimes someone will report your post and I cannot control that. I try not to say anything that is not a compliment. I stay out of political and religious,discussions. Some others get into horrible arguments about politics.So not worth it!

I've been tired. I haven't heard from my niece so not sure she will come by. I don't even know if she made it to town. I think I'm experiencing a low carb like flu because I feel wiped out after I ate breakfast. I ate steak strips and fried eggs. I probably should have scrambled the eggs instead of frying. Plus I used a lot of butter like carnivore suggested and all that fat never goes good for me.

His. favorite days are Wed, Fri, andSunday. He got a good machine but i dont know if he is winning. I can see him but im not close by. Its not crowded. You can get any machine you want.
DH. cooks eggs in a lot of butter. I use non stick spray, thats why mine are not as good! That fat doesnt bother me but meat fat does. Im getting hungry but they dont have much here that i like. They have 2 sit down restaurants not a food court. If i went into the mall they have a food court but its too far to walk.
I wull wait for french fries going home.

We didn't win but came home with almost half our money so not a total loss. I was starving by the time we left at 9pm. We stopped at McDonalds and I got a chicken sandwich and fries,DH had a double cheeseburger. I have a headache so I will take Tylenol and go to bed.
I'm making my 5 bean salad tomorrow. I wanted to make it tonight so it would marinate overnight but I'm too tired. I can't wait to try it. I'm making it a little different than DIL made it. She didn't add onion and she added sugar but I don't want to put sugar in mine. If it seems to need sweetener I will use artificial sweetener, as little as possible. This will add fiber to my diet which I need. I don't think DH will eat it. It will be more of a snack for me.

Carol Sue It is good you didn't lose all your money. Are you going to go back Friday? You know your DH will want to.
Niece didn't come today. Turns out she is coming next week. I haven't seen her since she became a RN. I think she is studying to be a NP.
Today was a good day except I was so tired and sleepy a lot of the day. Not sure why unless maybe my bs went too low. Tomorrow is infusion day, but we go later in the afternoon than usual. I won't do that anymore if I can help it. I don't want early but would prefer appointments around 11 am or 1 in the afternoon. My infusion won't be until 3 pm which means we won't get out of there until at least 4:30 or 5 if then.

Trish,I to get DH to go Friday instead of yesterday but he said its too crowded and he can't get a good machine. But he knows I prefer FRIDAY so he will probably try. I told him I won't go more than once a week. When we were winning a lot we went 3 times a week and had a stash of money at home to use. No stash anymore, but we still go. I don't think there's a way to get him to stop going. Yeas ago we never went. We started going to W VA which is 1 1/2 hours away. We stopped going there during the pandemic because the rest stop was closed then there was a detour while they repaired a bridge. That's when we started going to the one 1 hour away,then they build the local one. W VA was my favorite. They had a food court plus a magnificent buffet. If you played a lot they gave you free tickets to the buffet. But that 1 1/2 hour drive home at night was terrible. I had a hard time riding that far without a bathroom and when they closed the rest stop I was in trouble. One time we got a room and stayed overnight when we didn't have a dog,but you can't do that with a dog unless you have someone you trust to take him or come to let him out.
Today the scale was down .2 lb to 182.8 but down is down. I pray I can continue the downward trend.

Please pray for my DGS. He was bit by a stray cat and has to go for a series of shots in case the unidentified cat has rabies. This is a shame because he loves all animals. Now he will have to be wary of those who are not pets. He got a part time job at a local food business and was sweeping in the parking lot when the cat tried to come into the building. He was using a broom to try to keep the cat outside when it bit him.
