Mousai – congrats being on track 3 days. I think it’s wise to give your body two weeks to catch up to your new plan, I’ve often noticed that it takes that long to get into the groove of a new routine.

MotherMavis – A friend of mine started with C25K two years ago, and she ran the NYC Marathon this past November. Her butt is teeny-tiny these days.

ShrinkingLizzy – I totally hear you about the drinking after work. Man, did that sink my ship last Fall. It’s such a sad, sad thing to admit, but a great friend of mine, actually the best friend I’ve ever made at work left the company about a year ago- and I never got into the habit of catching lunch with anyone else after she left. I try to do my cardio at lunch or run errands; but I’ve resisted making a new lunch / drinks buddy.

Dandk – way to go on the 9 pound loss!! We need to get a bowdown smilie in here to honor you properly.

I am down to 188 today – finally the scale moves in the right direction! Now, I need to keep up with what’s got me here. Water is only a bit behind today, so I’m feeling good about that but I had to skip my workout due to the snowstorm that blew into town. I was glad I did though. I have an hour long train ride home and when I got to my home station they were announcing the next train which I would have been on and should have arrived 18 minutes after the train I was on was running 45 minutes late.

Checking in...
I had a horrible night last night, drank lots of wine and ate lots of food, but I tracked it as much as I could and I'm going to try to make up for it. I had kind of expected it so it was OK.
Today's been good, had a great workout that included jogging a whole mile on teh treadmill!

Rachel -- I decided to go with 143 after my terrible bingey weekend at the beginning of the month, after which I did not weigh myself. I was pretty flip-floppy about it, though. I'm gonna stick with that, though.

Doing my daily post!!
got all 45 minutes in, did 3 15 minute session with my billy blake videos. its getting a little easier, but i still have a bit of trouble keeping up. im trying to keep them changed up so i dont get too comfortable doing them. i want to keep my body guessing. im sure i look silly trying to keep up, but im having fun with it.
gotta get some extra sleep tonight tho, not been sleeping very well, which is kinda normal for me. but i have a busy day tomorrow. i have to go to my brothers school, im going to go buy one of the candy grams at his school for him to have deliverd on vday, hes had a really hard time so i hope an annonimous gift will cheer him up. maybe ill buy a couple to make people jealous.
then i have to talk to my old teacher and get a letter of reconmendation so i can finish applying to my university, i wanna say my fingers are crossed, but i know im going to get in
gonna try and do some walking while im doing the errands, i wish i had my bike in decent enough shape to take it, but the tires are flat.

Mousai- excellent job with all the workouts!! I also change up my wprkout videos. I actually don't own any I just get them from the library.

Lizzy- You ate 1/2 a cookie!! Fantastic!! great job with your loss too! The weather here is awfuul and it is hindering my progress although last night I just forced myself to workout!! as for the scale I keep mine out and weigh myself daily but only really track my friday weigh ins.

mom23- what strollers are you considering? The Bob is really good. I have the MBU which is technically not a jogging stroller I guess but I use it and I love it.

Grrrr. Long time no see everyone. Okay, so NB (new boyfriend) is keeping me away from all of you! I miss you, but when I'm at home, I am never using my comptuer because I'm with him the whole time. Things are still going amazingly well with him and I, BUT I'm not working out anymore, and I've gained 4 pounds back. YIKES. All of that work for nothing. I really want to start working out again, but for some reason I feel self concious working out with him home. For all of you who don't remember, he's living with me right now.....so he's there like 24-7. I know he'll workout WITH me if I ask him too, but its kind of odd. Maybe tonight we'll do turbo jam together... We'll see. I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm still here, and I miss you all. I'm sorry I'm not staying as updated anymore. There are just so many people here now that it's hard to keep up.

KCWMU....sorry to hear you're having a tough time getting to work out. I've been dating my guy for almost 2 years and i wouldn't want to work out with him. And our first few months together i had gained back 7 of the 33 i had lost. bummer. but try to find a few minutes to work out. send the boy out on some errands for ya. lol

Well...finally something good to report. I finally dropped a pound. That's one for February so far....only 4 more to go.lol. I don't think i'm going to make it but at this rate, i'd like to at least lose 2 in a month.

Mousai: Mmmm….that cakes sounds wonderful! Great job on the exercise!

Mothermavis: Great job on the C2K! Hearing about that is what got me going with my kids to start running. I am not following that schedule specifically, because my goal is to just get my kids (therefore me), to run a mile by the end of Jan. next year. Hoping it won’t take that long, but it is okay if it does.

Adaem: It looks like you are doing great with the exercise and eating. You’ll see the 130’s soon.

Dandk: Great job on the exercise!

Chinchilla: Woohoo 188!!!!

S: Wow! Jogging a whole mile. Great job!

2B2: I was looking at the Baby Jogger! I had considered the BOB, but the Baby Jogger has everything I need. Now I am just torn between the single or the double. The double total weight limit is 150 pounds. I was thinking about going hiking with all my kids more often. I can’t expect them to do as much as me, and they do get tired, so if they needed to rest for a few minutes, they could in my stroller. Also, I could use it at Disney this spring. I spent over $200 on rentals last year when we went last spring and fall. The only thing about the double is the front wheel is fixed, and the stroller is very bulky.

MotherMavis: Shovelling snow = a whole lot of exercise! Have a great day!

KC: It’s okay if you can’t keep up posting all the time, but do drop by and say hi when you can. Now for the exercise!
Tough Love coming: Here’s a few slap, slap. Do you really want to make a change? You are on such a good “winning streak” toward your goal. Can you and BF start walking every day? Also, maybe start the C25K program. How is your eating? I am glad you are having such a great time with BF. Big hugs!

Okay! Does anyone else need tough love?????

As for me! Well yesterday at the party, I did not just go for the fruit and veggie bowl. I enjoyed a few treats. Really not too many, but still the food is not on my “plan”. Now I am not beating myself up over it, because in the past when I would go off plan for a party or anything else, I would say “what the heck” and be bad for the whole day. I did not do this. I had a very tiny breakfast and dinner to make up for the afternoon party. I am really feeling like this is a lifestyle change more than a diet. I am enjoying this journey of loosing weight so much better than any other time.

I really want to loose a couple of pounds this week, or at least one. I really feel like I am at a standstill. I am sure it is just because of all the treats this week. So rest of this week, I need to focus on my food!

Have a great day everyone!

Ladies! Remember me!? Wow! I've been away for soooo long. I really should make it a priority to come here at least every other day! I got caught up with work, relatives with new born babies and general festivities (it was lunar new year and I went over to friends' places for dinner over the weekend) that I haven't been good with regards to my goals! =( I did lose 4lbs though. So, put me down at 135lbs! Except now I'm thinking I've probably gained it all back in the last 5 days or so cos I really haven't been watching what I've been eating and there was no exercise! Right. I just wanted to check out what's been happening here and wow, there's been tonnes goin on and I feeel sooooooo guilty already! Sorry that I haven't really contributed much!! Anyway, hope you guys have a great day! I'm getting back to my books to prepare for an exam at noon tomorrow!

Oh and I just checked my weight now, I think I'm still 135lbs.. Says 137 now but its nighttime and I usually check my weight first thing in the morning. So. And I also just realised there is a winner! CONGRATULATIONS!

Ennevee! Congrats on the weight loss. We are still seeing who comes in second and who looses the most. Try to come around as often as possible! I hope you are having a great day!

Ok, What is wrong with me? I had a bad weekend, eating wise. But I have walked a total of 7.5 miles this week, I have done P90 twice, and have eaten pretty good. (I haven't been counting but I have really been watching it) I am up 2 lbs!!! I don't think I did that bad over the weekend. TOM isn't coming for a nother 2 weeks. Could I still be holding onto water from the seekend? I have been trying to down the water as much as I can. Or is it from the toning? (P90 is 25 min of toning and stretching) I will not give up though (I think that has been by problem in the past) I will work through this and keep on trucking. I am just so frustrated!!!
