Default Feb. '08 5 Pounds a Month Challenge (#3)

Let's make it simple.

1. Let's see who can loose the first 5 pounds first.

2. Make every effort to loose 5 pounds.

3. Let's see who can loose the most this month.

4. Make commitments to self and try to keep them. Post them or don't.
What ever helps you.

5. Come here and post as much as you can. We are all here for each other.

6. Feel free to add other personal goals.

7. The 5th of each month is the cut-off to get your name added to the contest. Anyone that comes after this date, please come on and join. The support will still be here. And your name will be added the next month.

Yay a new thread! =) my ending/starting weight is 205. Hecks yeah! =) I'm ready for another 5+ pound month!

Have not been posting for along time now, and have gained all that I've lost last year and then some

Now I'm ready to reclaim all that I've lost and hopefully get to my goal weight this year.

Working on losing 5 lbs. will actually be a good start.

I have always wanted to do one of these but I guess I am a bit shy (even in cyberspace)

Let me know if I am not doing this right.

Here are my goals for this month
*Lose 5# - Starting weight 147
End weight 142
*Walk 2 miles at least 3 times a week
*Don't eat everything in sight (this will be the hardest! I love my food!!)

Welcome to all the new people. We really are glad you are joining us. This will be our third month doing this. Even with the holidays, we have made a lot of progress. Just look at our numbers from January (as of this writing, the numbers still need to be updated). We rocked!!!!!!! So, this support thread is more than just seeing who is first to loose 5 pounds, or who looses the most (but that is fun). It is also to be an encouragement and also keep us accountable. So post as often as you can.

Welcome! You can do it. 5 pounds is just the start. If you only loose 1 pound, 2 pound, ect. a month....think how much better you will feel. Better than gaining that amount a month.

Welcome! So glad you are joining us. No need to be shy with us. Come and post as often as you can. And you are doing this perfect. When ever you are ready to change the numbers, let me know, and I will make the changes. Some people do this once a week, or whenever they have a change. I will do my best to keep up with this. If you notice that your numbers weren't changed, just let me know. I have three kids that have taken some of my brain cells, soooooo.......I may need to be reminded!!!!

Ok, My starting weight is 151.5. It means I've lost 2.5 in a few days, I guess it's only water.. =)
