Forgot to say what workout im doing today im doing a step aerobics workout followed by some abb work, later this eveing i plan on either walking the dog or walking on the treadmill for at least 30 mins...i need to add in more cardio...

For the past two days i've been off plan with my eating so today is back on track. If i want to get my remaining weight off by the end of the year i've got to get going...no more excuses I can do this!

As for me ~quick post.....Going outside to sweep the porches & Sidewalks & Spend some time outdoors with the hubby in just a few!
Gotta take my son to his best friends birthday party 2morrow(they will both be 10 on August 30th) LOL~Both are ornery as heck~Both are precious though & me & the mother was pregnant at the church I attended back then at the same time & when I started there we was about 1 week away from there birth~& Both of us looked miserable in the August heat & ready to pop~LOL I never attended long enough for him to go there & them to meet But ever since the first day of school They have been best friends ever since SO COOL! ~now there turning 10!)
~Anyways Incase I do not post 2morrow Please Keep my sis in your prayers she is going in for major neck surgery Monday~I will give more details when I have more time...IN a hurry~will TTYL. HUGS TO ALL!

misspriss- your looking great! Running does make you extra hungry, that's for sure. I'm not running as much right now because I have osteoarthritis in my knee and I'm not nearly as hungry.

Thank you to everyone for all the birthday wishes, they made me smile!

I made my birthday goal!! I did good today and stayed in control, why ruin the moment. I did have higher calories though (1610, still within my maintenance range), I am allowing myself to have what I'm hungry for now in moderation or til I'm full, I'm a maintainer, not on a diet to lose anymore weight. I was hungry early for dinner, but I was craving chocolate ice cream & peanut butter. So, I made a deal with myself. I will eat dinner first, if I'm still hungry I can have it. Of course I had it! 1 serving of light chocolate ice cream with 1 serving of homemade peanut butter & 7 mini marshmallows on top. 340 calories, 20g. fat! That's so crazy, but it was worth it and I figured it was a birthday treat. I wanted more so bad, but my new founded control kicked in and I stuck a piece of minty gum in my mouth. I won again!

Hi everyone. Hope you are having a good weekend. Just checking in before I go to bed. My workout today was cleaning my house. lol calories came under 900 today. The weather man is reporting thunderstorms for this week just hope there not too bad so the pool doesnt get closed. If it happens at least I can excercise in my gym here at the house. well its late so better get to bed so I can get up early for church. gn

Jiggle: Congrats on the inches and the almost official size 14! You, too are doing great!! BTW...did Shylah ever get the TSP's? I have been MIA for a while, but haven't seen here on her lately?

Fruitlady: happy belated b-day and congrats on the goal!

As for me: I packed up 3 bags of work clothes for Goodwill yesterday. It was kind of fun putting on things on that are just stupid big now and getting rid of them! I bought a couple pairs of new pants yesterday. I'm in an 18W now...the smallest of most stores' plus size dept! I even went over to the "regular" department and tried on some regular size 18's over there. Still too tight, but I'm getting there. It's going to be a BIG psychological shift when I don't have to shop in the plus size dept anymore!

Heading to Duluth (the big city, lol) today to do some more work clothes shopping. It's my first major wardrobe re-do since I started losing in January when I was in a 24 and sometimes 26! Exciting, but expensive! Might check some of the second-hand stores. Very motivating to imagine getting to goal and buying the FINAL wardrobe! Lol.

Hey guys, quick pop in here!

Today i plan on doing some upper body strength training, then a cardio ...probably 30mins of turbo jam. I also plan on walking the dog this evening w/DD.

Ive got a new goal right now, its no longer a # on a scale but how i look in the mirror. My new plan right now is to listen to my body when it comes to food, im still logging my food & keeping up w/my calories, but i love working out and eating low cals was making my workouts suffer so ive bumped up my cals a bit and im going to see how that goes. Trial and error right Oh and i quit weighing...i plan on weighing once a month My rings are loose, my bathing suit is loose...those are the things im going by.

Thank you for all your wonderful comments on my pics. They mean so much to me

Northern-Its such a proud moment when we start shopping for smaller sizes...congratulations on your success so far

Fruitlady-IM SO PROUD OF YOU!!! what a huge accomplishment for you, way to go girl!!!!

Good Afternoon everyone! Its a great day for me. :smile: Just got home from church and couldnt wait to come and post the news. I bought a 3 piece suit over 2 yrs ago when it was on clearance. I had just started my diet at the time. Well I decided to try it on this morning and I got to wear it for the first time. I'm so happy. This journey is paying off. Did good today, even went to the Japanese buffet. I had 3 cups of salad, 2cups of cantalope & honeydew melon, 6 small slices of watermelon, 1 almond cookie & 1 chocolate peanut butter cookie. That's it, my calories were only 1300 today total. My weight stayed exactly the same as yesterday, I think cause of the small sundae I had last night, but that's fine w/ me. I won the control battle today again!

Hi Good Job fruitlady. Well it 1 in the morning and just thought I'd drop by before I head to bed. Will head to the gym when I get up so proably wont have time to post untill this evening. Do y'all remember me?

I cannot believe it's been so long since I've checked in.

I'm doing good, am back to only 3 pounds above my lowest, so I'm not changing my ticker since I'm so close!

I put up a new pic of me on my birthday. I'm wearing my size 10 dress in that pic!! It was a great day. We've got school started back up now and things are getting back into a routine around here which is good for me!

Thanks to Jiggle for checking on me!!

I've been re-working my goals. There's no way I'll reach my original Labor Day goal for sure!

When I started losing weight my motivation was to wear a size 10 again by 10/10/10 and I've met that goal pretty well. I'm about 1/2 and 1/2 in size 10's and 12's. I've worn my size 10 dress to church and I wear my size 10 jeans often. I bought a pair of white Ralph Lauren Capri's last week in size 10! But the funnest thing ever was when I was in the fitting room, the lady before me had left a pile of size 8's. I saw a pair of jean capri's hanging there and thought, "those look like they'd fit me!" So I tried them on and up they went, they zipped and buttoned without a struggle! Of course they're too tight to wear for public viewing, but let me tell you I bought those babies!

I'm really not aiming to wear all size 8's but a random one here and there will be nice LOL! My final goal is to fit in all size 10's with a rare 8 popping in.

So my focus now is to keep my eye on 10/10/10 and go 100% and at that point, wherever I land is going to be maintence point so long as size 12's are too big :O) and I've met or passed 174 pounds. At that point I'll re-start 30 Day Shred and do it for a complete 30 days to do a final tone-up and then I'll probably do it 3 times a week in maintainance.

Sorry to be missing so long and to write a whole book upon my return.

I'll go back and read as much as I can and see what y'all have been up to!

Northern I'm here and checking in. Still have the TSP's and still in a size 18. I so did not meet my Labor Day goal of fitting into them. They almost button though ROFL.

Susie it's good to see you posting. You look great! I think you have a very realistic goal. I like your 10/10/10 date.

Here is a pic of me and my kids on my daughter's birthday 11/3/09 at Disney World followed by the full pic of me and my kids on my birthday a couple weeks ago! I was just shocked at the difference!
