  • Susie - Welcome back. Glad you have fun on your bday and you look great. You have made awesome progress between pictures!! Congrats on the size 10s I think I'm going to need a little more time to get to those size 10s.
    Shylah - Looking forward to the wild post when you fit those TSPs. It feels amazing!!!
    Fruitlady - Great job on the buffet!!! You are doing a wonderful job with that.
    Bigmama - Hope your weigh in is good to you!!!
    Misspriss - Enjoy the looky looky!!! It is so rewarding looking at yourself in the mirror and noticing the changes in your body and clothes. I get so pumped. I noticed that one of the back rolls is almost gone. That gets me going so now I want to watch the other two leave. Enjoy this phase of the journey. Trial and error it is indeed!!!

    Today is a GREAT DAY!! I ran 2 whole miles on the treadmill. I kept running because after each 1/4 mile after the initial mile run I kept thinking I can run one more lap which is a 1/4 mile. When it got to two miles I got really excited. I wanted to scream. If I can do that all week that will be soooo cool. I've been eating on plan except yesterday so hopefully today isn't the only day I can run two miles this week. If I lost two and a half inches last week walking and running two miles this week should be fantastic. I'm so excited. You can probably tell by the rambling. Anyway, I will check in later.

    Today I had 1340 cal. Almost the same as yesterday, that seems to be where I am almost everyday, I'm never hungry at this amount. Sometimes I don't want dinner, I force myself to eat. I had my small treats today around 3:30pm., if I wouldn't have ate them, my calories would have been to low. I noticed my stomach is shrinking, don't need to eat as much as I used to. All that binging and overeating I did before stretched my stomach out, well no more. I still have control, allowing myself to have small treats that I'm craving is working. Today I wanted, 1 serving of fat free chocolate ice cream(90 cal.), 4 chocolate tea bisquits(64cal.)& 1/2 serving of cherry licorice nibs(70 cal.). All are very low in sodium, so I wasn't afraid to have them, don't want to gain any water weight. I weigh 1 oz. less than yesterday, I've been maintaining within 2 ounces for the past 3 days, wow that's really a close range. Not working right now either, farmer's market is closed for 2 weeks, I noticed I am not as hungry and I have to eat less calories to maintain. It's working for now, but when I go back to work, I'm gonna have to eat about 100 cal. more a day to maintain, i think? That's gonna mess me up!

    My next goal is to be overweight (195 pounds) for Thanksgiving!

    I jogged for 30 min non stop this morning, I was so excited...I even felt like I could keep going on but I needed to head home to get the kids ready for school.

    I started back to school yesterday, I got up early and jogged before going. I am not sure if I will be able to keep getting up so early, so I may have to start jogging after school, but that means my girls will be hanging out on my neighbors porch (I can see them the whole time from there) but that is a bit distracting for me. It will all work out.
  • Woo Hoo another two mile run today. I'm so excited!!! I feel like it's going to be a good week...as long as I don't fall off the wagon.

    Envelope - You are doing a great job yourself jogging and maintaining your commitment before school!!!

    I know I won't make my original goal for Labor Day, but I'm on track to finish strong on my 10/10 goal so I'm happy with myself.

  • Hello everyone

    I've been doing great this week with my eating and workouts. Yesterday was two 40 min power walks (morning,evening) Today was an upper body heavy weights dvd then i decided to do some step aerobics. 572 burned and 85mins total workout time.

    Jiggle-Yay on your running! wtg!! So true about the feeling of noticing changes in our bodies! What a truely amazing feeling that is! I can't remember the last time i was this happy with the way i looked?

    Susie- welcome back miss skinny minnie you! Size 8 and 10...you go girl! Glad to see you back!!

  • Awww thanks y'all~I have another Just different colors~Found that huge RED stretch belt at a thrift store for 25 cents. Got the dress for just 4.99 New with tags At my favorite store in town ~Got 2 of them back several weeks ago.~Now there marking there summer stuff half price & selling them all for 2.49~I did get a plaid summer dresss to put back for next year since the season is nearly over~I love them dresses too~THANK Y'all~BRB ON LATER I HOPE ~the kids will be here in 7 minutes & I gotta get ready~They gotta have food on the table & get babied LOL PLus I got to call & check on my sister to see how she is doing today ~As of yesterday Her surgery had went well.) TTYL~HUGS*

    Hi Chicks- I had to raise my calories today by 100, I'm losing weight again. If I lose 1 more pound I will be considered underweight for my height. This happens every time I don't overeat for a while, but it's also what caused me to start overeating in the first place. I'm going about it in a smart way this time, instead of binging to gain some weight, and starting a bad habit all over again, I will just raise my calories for today and see what happens. This is just a big experiment for me, I never did it this way, if I lost too much weight, it would give my mind the permission to go right ahead and binge. Feeling like I was now safe to do it. Not any more!
  • Good evening everyone. Lori your doing the right way in order to maintain your weight. Thats what we talk about at our TOPS meeting. Oh last night at weigh in I had lost 2 1/2 lbs. Made me feel so good to see it. Starting tomorrow I will post what my scale here at the house weighs me at it will show a little more than the tops scale but that ok with me. My calories today post at 548 thats low I know but all Ive eaten today is vegables. Last night at tops I weighed in at 261 1/2. When I started tops Feb. 2 of this year I weighed 281 1/2 thats a total lost of 20 lbs this year. I'm trying to lose at least 10 more by the end of Dec. Hopefully I will. I hope everyone is as motivatied as I am. I will be praying for everyone every morning because thats what gets me through the day also. I appreciate everyone here on this post and hope everyone will reach their goals.

    Northernexposure, I liked packing all of my clothes up too. It was a little weird though to put on things and have them be so loose. I don't know what I expected, but I was happy Congrats on your new size.

    OK my update ... I weighed in this morning at 171.6. I am only .4 away from my Labor Day goal. I am so excited. I know that things can easily go the other way so I am gonna do my best to stay OP. I'll be doing my walks during the day tomorrow and Thursday instead of my usual evenings due to Back to school nights. We have children in every school, high school was tonight but of course our senior doesn't want me tagging along, tomorrow is middle school and Thursday is elementary. I am hoping with that my weigh in on 9/6 is a great one as with ALL of you. Can't wait to do the next challenge with you ALL.
