Thanks mkyice~I feel like i just got a great deal on a new piece of jewelry or something ~LOL~I am so excited about the stars! I nearly cried when he got them done & on cause I have waited so long for them...But needed the perfect size & materials!! So I am so glad it's completed~ Now to work on some of my other ideas! THANKS AGAIN ~HUGS*

I grew up in a really nice home & always wanted an older style farm house & was thrilled to be able to buy this home~A friend of mine grew up in this home & her dad built it.(back in the 50's he started building it & they did use it as a mini farm ~it has nearly 4 acres of land with it)Then the second story part was added on in the 70's I think after they had more kids.~anyways I was able to afford it & Its like a dream home to me & we got it cheap when the economy was good still & it's still holding a value higher than I paid for it which is super!!.......I got many more projects I wanna do to it but until then I am satisified.I like older homes they have character I think. Plus u can add your own touches to them. Hope I am doing it justice. It was a real mess when we first bought it.~Here is a before pic & We had even mowed the yard or well the hubby had~the yard hadn't been mowed for 2 years so it was worse before this pic LOL If u can imagine!!(wish I would have got a pic of that too)But Anyways....we saw potential & a little over 3 years later the other pics show what we have accomplished outside so far. This was after we first moved in & we hadn't even took the christmas lights they left on it off yet Or Done anything to it much~We have done alot to the place.Even just recently romoved that huge tree nearly touching the front porch & had a new roof & New back patio put in/on.We had just moved in during this pic ~it was took in 2007! The new pics on the other page was took 6-14-10)

Good morning ladies!

Sorry I've been MIA for a while...for good reason...So i've been temping at the bf's work and picking up more hours at my retail job i've pulled in over 45 hours this past wed thru sunday, and I'm off to work in a little while here. Still doing the job hunting, but it's nice to have work and get some type of income.

As for weightloss...ehhhhhhh...unfortunatly i've gained a lil, not alot 3lbs, and I'm 2lbs away from being in my range....and it's not water weight either....the bf weighed himself on the scale this morning and he gained 7lbs....we are going back to eating healthy and working out soon as he gets home! I will admit, I haven't been CC ....I guess I realize I still have to do that for a while and I'm unable to maintain on my own. I know the problem though....it started with the floorset I did, I worked at the bf's work from 8:30a-5p then headed to my other job and worked until 3am....during floorsets we tend to snack alot and I did! And from there i've been off schedule and eating late...so if I don't eat past 8:30-9pm and I keep my starches low after lunch and some exercise I hope I can get back down. I'm just glad I caught it 3lbs later instead of 10.

So the bf was able to get P90x from a friend, we only wanted the cardio part...I don't care about the muscle building like that...from looking at the cardio videos I will be building muscle from that also. So here's the plan we have...in the mornings..that's when the bf wants to work out....we will go to the gym and do 30min on the treadmil and 30min on the eliptical and then when he gets home from work we will do the P90x cardio and every other day if i'm home i'll do some pilates.....He still has 25lbs to lose where me I need to get into shape so I can maintain easier. Let's hope we can stick to the plan!

alright ladies sorry to just blab about me and leave, I have to get going to work. I will try and get on later after work to get to all of you, I wish you all the best!

Lori : beautiful house!

Hello everyone!

Hope everyone is having a good day so far! I'm back! haha I know i have been gone for a while, but i just didn't have any personal time for a while. I honestly, right now, have no idea what I am at for weight, I don't think it's going to be good news...With me being so busy, I haven't had time to get my healthy foods or really cook healthy for myself. I have been doing a lot of snacking and just eating on the run....well that's never good news! I haven't been drinking all my water, it's been a lot of coffee! I will weigh back in tomorrow morning, I didn't have time before work this morning. I feel like this will just be like starting over. I always manage to screw up right in the middle of these challenges!! grrr!!! I'm not too upset, because I dont want to be too hard on myself. I've had a rough last few weeks in terms of work and family issues...which is a whole other story! Working another 13 hour day today, I'm at work right now actually, I just realized that I needed to check in here because I NEED 3FC!!! I had better get back to work, but just wanted to stop in quickly and say hi and hope you guys are all doing well!!!

Have a good day!

Hey everyone, sorry I haven't posted in a while, started out on my diet really well & lost 10 pounds in the first 20 days, then I have been stuck every since which sure isn't helping me to reach my goal for July 4th. I still got 9 pounds to go & pretty sure that isn't happening. My calorie range every day is between 1300 to 1500 calories, I have not gone over 1500 calories since I started & normally it ends up being between 1300 to 1400. I don't get it!

I'm not giving up or anything, but as active as I am, I really can't see dropping my calories anymore & it still being healthy.

Okay I am done whining now.

Looks like everyone is doing well, hope everyone has a good day.

Dee

Hey y'all,

Ashley, I am like you I NEED 3FC!!

I haven't posted since Sunday, or read for encouragement either. I've been OP, with my food, that is, but I had not exercised since Thursday! I finally got my rear on the TM and did 3.2 miles a bit ago.

I'm stuck at 187.9. I just hope the scale moves in a downward movement before we live on our cruise in 6 days! My main goal on the cruise is to maintain whatever I am when we leave. So I know (or hope it's only) a week will be lost in this challenge. Boy, my weight loss has really slowed down. It's like when I passed over into Onederland, it has slowed way down. I really have been foodwise OP too, so it's a little depressing.

Ok, gotta go hop in the shower before my baby boy wakes from his nap.

Talk to ya later!

p.s. Lori, I love the stars on your house! Would it be called Americana for the style, maybe?

Wow, I lost 2 more pounds. It's strange, every time I eat my skinless boneless chicken tenders w/ pepper and caraway seeds on it, I seem to lose real fast. Is it the caraway seeds?? I love them on chicken! So far I only had 1015 cal. today, but I am planning on baking my healthy low cal chocolate chip cookies. I don't know if I will be able to limit myself to just a few.

Fruitlady - I'm going to have to try it. I need to do something Grats on the 2 lbs.

I went crazy on Friday ladies. I made it through the day to dinner, only at 850 calories. Then something snapped and I said to myself.. I don't want to count calories tonight. So I didn't. I had a margarita and we went out to dinner. I did have a grilled chicken sandwich, no mayo... but I also had some pretzel bread with mustard. Saturday, no counting. Didn't eat much until dinner. Had friends over and made some chicken / spinach manicotti and a Sam Zien version of tiramasu - Doughnutmisu. It was awesome. Sunday I split breakfast and lunch with my toddler. Egg sandwich and left over manicotti respectively. Dinner was grilled heaven. Carne Asada, brats, corn on the cob, guacamole, potato salad and a few tortilla chips. Oh and I had a regular ol' Mountain Dew.

I didn't even work out Thursday, Friday or Saturday. Sunday I got on the treadmill and jog / walked for an hour. Monday I woke up and that was it. I didn't make a conscious effort to get back on plan, I just did. Got on the treadmill again, made a great bag of goodies to get through the day and ended with 1549. Repeat for today.

Maybe I just needed to get that out of my system. I feel over all I didn't do horribly, but I should have did way better. It felt good to let loose, even if it wasn't the same as my letting loose 5 months ago

Hey ladies! I'm going to have a very busy day today so I just thought I'd check in quick.

So, I was dreading weighing in today but I knew I needed to see where I was in order to change my program up and get motivated.

I was expecting to be no less than 140-142 because I was feeling down and haven't been officially exercising as much.

But, I was down to 136!! WOO! Another two pounds! Gives me hope that I can make my goal.

Anyways, I've got a lot of outdoor work to get done today and I'm fighting with time- the thunderstorms are on the horizon.

KDM- Haha, I'm still sore from my workout two days ago. Doesn't it feel kind of nice, though? At least we know we've been working hard!

Shylah- It sounds like your "letting loose" wasn't bad at all! Congrats on being able to do that without it becoming a full out binge- doesn't it feel great to be able to survive in the real world? Seriously, you're doing great! Congrats!

Fruitlady- That sounds delicious. I LOVE caraway seeds. Might have something to do with being German, heehee. Congrats on the loss!

Susie- You can do it! Glad you're checking in. I too need 3fc!

Dee- Wow, you've done really well. Maybe if you really stick to a calorie amount for a while you'll see the results you want. I know many of us tend to vary our calories on day to day, but maybe if you had a more specific goal and were more consistent you'd start dropping again? Maybe try staying at 1400 for a while. Good luck!

Farn- Don't beat yourself up! Sometimes life gets in the way of our plans- but that's how it's always going to be so we need to adjust to that. I hope things sort themselves out for you. I can relate to the 13 hour days- that's my normal work schedule and it can be tough. You can push past all of this!

JDonato- Glad to see you're getting back on track! 2-3 pounds isn't bad at all! You'll be back down in no time. Good luck with P90x!

Misspriss- Sounds like fun! I'm not sure what you mean by premixes- do you mean supplement wise? There are specific supplements that Debbie suggests you take- but I don't. I just do my regular vitamin in the morning. And thank you! Can't wait until the DVD's arrive.

Lori- Your house is beautiful- looks so cozy! I too have always wanted an old farm house. I love re-doing things and I love putting work into a house. I'm hoping some day in the future I pick up a real oldie that I can restore to it's full potential. *Daydreams*

Alright, I'm off to have a quick breakfast than scoot my butt outside before this nasty weather hits. Have a great day everyone!
