Lori- You look great, love your new pics!

I'm at 107.3 today, not bad considering I am going a little higher w/ my calories. I'm trying to find a calorie amount I can stick to so I can maintain. I've tried so many times and I either gain or lose. These calculaters they have on the web aren't giving me the right amount. They are way too high for me and I always gain too much weight if I go by them. I have 2 lbs to go for the challenge!

Love: Welcome!

Lori and Shylah: thanks for sharing the pics! One of these times I may be brave enough, lol.

I believe TOM is finally coming to an end, so I will weigh in tomorrow...first time since Memorial Day weekend! Hoping the numbers are going in the right direction...

If I'm done with work Wednesday, we're going camping for a couple of days, then off to North Dakota for a workshop next week. From there, it's straight to Wisconsin for a family reunion weekend thing. It will be a challenge keeping OP, but I'm going to try my hardest!

Love - get you some chocolate cheerios. They work wonders in cutting the chocolate craving. I've always been skeptical about stuff like that but they taste great and they are 100 cals for 3/4 cup!!
Lori - Have a great day and Happy Bday to your hubby.
Northern - Have fun with all that traveling. The family reunion will be fun because they will be shocked at your weight loss. You will be the talk of the gathering!!

I woke up this morning troubled about my progress. Not sure why because if I look back at what I've been doing I'm not out of control and eating a lot of junk as well as I'm exercising everyday except Sunday. I think I just have the blues since my work schedule changed. Yesterday seemed to throw everything off and I didn't reconcile things in my mind so that my balance was back...maybe that's it. Eating earlier in the morning had me way off and I couldn't understand why my calories were so high early in the day. Then I went the gym after work and could only do 20 minutes because I had to get to the daycare before 6:30. I also had to get my husband at 6:30 and couldn't start dinner til 7. I did some strength training before bed and slept ok. I was thinking about increasing my calories because it appears I have come to a plateau and that may also be why my psyche is in overdrive.
Just a note: My mind moves really fast sometimes so I have to maintain balance or everything gets turned around.

I know it sounds like I'm rambling but I have to tell someone what's going on in my head or I could fall off the wagon and roll down the hill never to return...well maybe not never but hopefully this makes sense.

I have a moment, so I thought I would check in. I have been staying OP. I had chinese food Fri (kept in within my cal. range) and man there must have been a truckload of salt in it. I am still retaining water. I have been drinking about 100oz. of water a day on top of other beverages and I am just now starting to notice a decrease in the puffy fingers and, sorry for tmi, an increase in the need to pee. Hopefully, the salt will be flushed out soon. In the meantime I am avoiding pre-packaged foods and making things from scratch so I can avoid as much sodium as possible.
I have been exercising. I have added push-ups and sit-ups. I have to do the modified push-ups (on my knees). I can do 10. I am up to 35 sit-ups. If the weather cooperates, I am going to go to the track in the morning. I don't like jogging, but it gets results.
I hope I haven't bored y'all too much. I hope everyone has a great day.

Jiggle: I'm glad you're sharing. It helps you to "get it out" and it helps others to know that even upbeat Jiggle has down phases throughout the process, it's just a part of it. I think that's one of the best helpers from 3FC is seeing that when one feels down, it's only temporary and with support we can get right back up. In the past, I'd get down and quit! Not this time - no way! We're doing this thing and even though we all feel discouraged some days, we know we're succeeding! I'm like you, when my life balance is out of whack, I feel out of whack.

MKYICE: I think I'll always have to do push-ups on my knees! I feel proud just to be doing them at all! You're doing great!!

I had a good sneak-peak weigh in this morning! I'm back in the 180's and I know it's real THIS TIME! I hopped on the psycho bathroom scales and they had dropped 3 pounds since yesterday, so I knew I was down a bit LOL. They're hard to explain, I can't go by them for weight at all, but I know if they go down, I need to go weigh in on the Wii Fit LOL. So anyhow, I'm back to 189 for real!!

I feel like I need to explain my position with 30DS. I think it's an awesome program and I will definitely get back to it. I just think that anyone going into it, who has been working on weight loss already for a while, needs to know that their weight is most likely going to stall. I LOVE what it did for my form, my body changed drastically, but right now, my psyche needs to see that scale move down. So as I get closer to goal, I'll add it back in a day or two a week at first, then once I get to goal, I'll start doing it for the 30 Days again, then as I maintain, I'll do it 2 or 3 times per week to maintain those awesome muscles!

I have been doing weight/resistance training all through my weight loss already. It was just not anything as difficult as 30DS. I absolutely believe it's needed during weight loss especially if you're over 40 and/or have been overweight for a long time. I am seeing my flabby arms just melt away and I was SOOOO scared they'd be flabby even after the weight loss. I truly don't believe this would happen w/o strenght training along with cardio and CC.

I have learned so much here on 3FC and any little bit I've learned through my own trial and error, I want to share.

Ok, I'll quit writing my novel now.

Good Morning!

I'am sore in just about every muscle in my body this morning(did a full boyd wiegth lifting workout yesterday) and the *%#@ scale is up 2.2lbs made me mad...ive been so good on my diet. Oh well, i know if i stick to it the results will come. It must of been the heavy lifting yesterday and come to think of it, i didn't drink a whole lot of water, today its water, water, water all.day.long

Today is a cardio, not sure which on. DH was suppose to go to his cardiologist but I rescheduled for another day so that means we can hang around the pool all day Im going to cut some grass too..

soooo, i finally went shopping for myself yesterday Got a super cute summer dress that came with an arm/shoulder cover(which is perfect because I'm still not comfortable showing those area's off yet) and then i got me some dark khaki drawstring cargo pants, super cute too. I also picked up a cute little ruffle top to go with my pants. If i get a chance i will post some pics of them later. Both in a size 12 so I'm proud of that

Shlyah-Looking good! Nice going, keep it up and you will be @ your goal in no time!

Lori-Happy birthday to your DH, you guys have a good time today!

mkyice-no kidding on the Chinese food...the sodium is crazy in it. But man, so good. Kudo's for you for staying with-in your calorie budget, if i go to a local Chinese buffet all **** breaks loose....i can't even bother while dieting. I really love there egg rolls, OMG a

Jigglefree-Hugs my ATL friend, i know exactly how you feel. When my DH's work schedule changed (went from morning shift to night shift) i was a wreck. Very moody...not myself at all. He wasn't happy either (couldn't eat dinner together anymore). I Couldn't really concentrate on my diet or didn't really care i suppose but it took me about 3weeks to start feeling better. It will pass. Im sure once you get use to your new schedule you will start feeling better and be back to yourself. Im sorry your not feeling good. Just wanted to send you a and some!!!

Lovit-Ugh, sweet tooth cravings are the worst. What helps me (and if you don't mind the artificial sweeteners) is chewing sugar free gum, or drinking some Chamomile tea(w/sweeteners), i like those dark chocolate mouse cups too.

NotherenExposure-have fun going camping. Its been a while since we have been...need to pull out the camping gear and go. Its such a nice pause from reality!

Hello to everyone i missed. I will bbl or tomorrow, have a good day

HI ladies!

So this weekend was really fun! We went wine tasting saturday, came back had a party and just relaxed and played cards, then we went around town sunday just shopping and having fun...there is a pic of me in hot pants at the store...i just had to do it...i'll upload it later.

As for weight...lol..well i gained 3lbs over the weekend and got rid of it yesterday..lots of water bloat, so i'm back down again which is good. The bf went grocery shopping with my last night so we got all healthy food and are starting to work out tomorrow morning. I just want to keep this up. I'm so glad I'm back down and back to normal...whenever we go up north we eat like crap and i get constipated then it takes me a few days to recover.

Lori: congrats on the 3/4's miss hot thang!

misspriss: don't worry about the scale..just water weight...you did heavy lifting and your muscles swell up so they retain water to help heal...it will all be good.

jiggle: sorry about the blues...it's ok. You will get on a balance soon, just takes some time and you have come a long way and we are all so proud of you!

ShylahEQ: wow that's a great weightloss indicator! Awesome job! oh and what spare tire?....I see nothing! just a baggy shirt....Congrats again!

everyone else I hope you all are doing well. I"ll try and get back on later. I sent out alot of resumes yesterday and today i'm doing the same. Tomorrow the bf's work needs someone to come in and do some filing..if they pay me cash then i'll do it. Oh and TOM is back...remember when I was 2 1/2 weeks early this month..ya that was from stress...well now that i'm on the sugar pills this week it's back again...at least i know next month it will be normal. Granted I could have just skipped the sugar pills and go to a new pack, but I know if I start like I should then I'll be back to normal next month.

Have a great day ladies!

Jules: Dr. Oz didn't go into alot of detail on the Vit. C. He just said that it has a certain compound that is essential to releasing the fat burned and burning it to it's fullest potential. I figure it won't hurt me to take or eat a little extra C, so hopefully I'll be killing two birds with one stone LOL.

Hey all!

Jdon- Sounds like a fun weekend! Wishing you continual luck on your job search- must be so exciting. I can't wait to finally get my degree and go out there doing what I want to do.

Susie- Interesting about the vitamin c- I think I may start taking some!

Misspriss- You're making great progress! The 2.2 is probably just stubborn water weight. Congrats on the 12's- it's so fun going shopping and downsizing!!

Mkyice- Ugh, push-ups! I do the modified on the knees ones too- if I really push myself I can go up to 20, but most of the time I'm tuckered out at 12-15 (very wobbly armed ones, though!). I do two sets a day and was able to up the reps pretty fast- but man, not my favorite exercise! Once I'm done with my current program I'll probably only do them a couple of times a week- if at all, heehee.

Jiggle- That's why I post here everyday, even if only a short little update. When I'm feeling down about my progress and you ladies cheer me on, I feel so great! It's good to just get it all out.

Loveit- It takes time- you'll learn to work through the cravings. And we all have little cheats sometimes too!

Northern- Have fun camping!!!! I take camping over any vacation any day. Love it. Hopefully I'll get to go twice this year.

Jules- Good job running in the 86 degree weather! Holy moly...I can't even get myself to run at all. I'm rather well endowed and am not a fan of strapping myself up in all kinds of ways to be comfortable, haha. Excellent job!

So, today I have met one of my goals!!! I had ordered a pair of size 6 jeans and they came in the mail today. I was going to wait to try them on because I didn't think they'd fit, but I decided to to see how far I needed to go. AND THEY FIT PERFECTLY! WOO-HOO! I know my current jeans are a little loose, but I had no idea. So, this afternoon I am shocked and happy. It's a great motivation to stay on plan!

Hey Ladies!!
I'm back on the block. Since I posted earlier I took some time to pray and asked God for wisdom and direction and GOT IT!! so glad that didn't take long. Balance is critical to my success.

It was a matter of settling my mind, organizing myself and mentally preparing for the schedule change. I would usually have done it the weekend before the schedule change but I had guest in and by they time they left all I could do was sleep. I had time to get my self back in balance this morning before leaving the house for work and all has gone extremely well today. I will be working out when I get off. Another thing...my husband started working out with me again last night
Susie - I knew you would be back in the 180s soon. I understand your perspective on the 30DS...I will probably still do it once a week but I will be picking up the running and resistance bands again. That's how I got in that dress. However there are some changes my body makes when I'm shredding that I love.
JD - I'm glad you recovered that sound rough. Can't wait to see the pic!!
Love - I used to keep a sandwich bag of them at my desk in case I needed them and they saved me from the vending machine a many a day.
Misspriss - Go head girl...size 12!!! My day is coming.

I'm off to shop! I've got a Dillard's card for $130 and I've been saving it till right before vacation. It expires June 12, so I've got to go use it!

I'm going into uncharted territory - I've not stepped foot into the regular sizes in Dillards in many a year! Wish me success!

Jiggle, glad you are feeling better! I've been thinking of you (Ms. Shopper) and wishing you were nearby and we could go shop together!
