Lori~ Storms scare me sometimes too. I worrying about the beautiful big trees falling and landing on the house. We don't have any really large trees right by our home here, but I still find it hard to sleep if it is very windy.

I walked 5.67miles today. (The family and I walked to a local beach and around town and partway back, took the train for the last bit). It was fun, but I am beat.
I hope everyone is having a good day.

Checking in...so not doing as well as I wanted but...I lost 6 lbs in the last 6 weeks...and if I can be into the 160s by 4th of July that's just fine. So 4th of July goal 169. That would be 10 lbs gone, that would make me happy. My secondary goal is my parents and niece are coming down in 4 weeks and I would love to be 163 by then. Keep up the good fight everyone

I'm in the same boat. 18's are a little tight on me still (still have to do a 20 in some things), so it will be a while until I can think about 16's. You can take them for now, I can wait

Good morning everyone, I'm doing good on keeping up with the exercise part of my goal, not too sure I am going to make it to 185 for the challenge, but the weight has been going down so I am still pleased with the progress.

hello everyone!!! how is everybody doing? Well I have one more rough work week, which I am starting to get used to them now, but they will pretty much be over once I come back from Chicago. I leave for Chicago this coming monday. I have been checking in a little bit, but haven't been doing too well this challenge so I didn't want to jump in a bring down the mood. I have been staying right about my starting weight. not good. Not making excuses but with my messed up work schedule and family/friend events (grad parties, birthdays, etc) I have really screwed this one up! I'm putting my head down in shame right now. I am hoping to get back on track and lose a few pounds before chicago and return home to finish up the challenge on track.

shan: how much fun! home in like a week?!!!!! you gotta tell us your family's reaction to you!!!

KDM: my lord girl, you are so motivated!!!!!!! send some to me please!!!!

mykice: sorry to hear about your laptop! hopefully they can get it fixed without any permanent damage, those things are sooo expensive.

northern: i hear ya these family get togethers, bdays, events, are just sooo hard to stay on track with. I know it can be done, cuz i've seen it on here, i just don't know if i have that kind of motivation!

lori: oh no you had the flu?! sorry to hear about that, good to hear that you are better!

jiggle: have you always been eating at 1300-1400 calories or did you drop it some since you have been losing weight? good news on those 14s!!! that is so amazing!

julesp: i'm sorry to hear about your godmother. where are you going on your trip?!

well i am off for the day. i will be back later to catch up with everybody else that I didn't get to here. I just went back a few pages to quickly catch up. I am working the night shift this time so i do have some time in the morning for myself. which is nice, finally! I think I am going to take my dog for a walk..

have a good day!!

Hello Ladies ... checking in = I got on the scale this morning and it read 186.4, so I got on again and it read 186.4. woohoo! I hit the save button so I could look at it again I was quite surprised since I ate more yesterday than I've eaten since I first started and didn't get to walk last evening. I am 2.4lbs away from my first mini goal. Didn't think I could do it (stick with it) I'm surprising me.

I was reading my old journal from Jan/06 and I had started the Jorge Cruise 3 Hour Diet. I started out at 214lbs and I had lost 6lbs in 7 days and then fell off the wagon because 4 days later I still weighed 208. So this is a plus that I have stayed on this time (this is day 22). I've gone up a pound a couple of times but have managed to lose it. I am so looking forward to my/our next challenge. Will you do another challenge? or do you just do holiday challenges? Well thanks for listening, Have a great day. Take care.

I had a rough 2 days, Sunday I binged( 4300 cal.) and yesterday I had 2900 cal. I just had to get it out of my system I guess. So far I gained 2.6 lbs. of water weight, I wouldn't be surprised to see a gain again tomorrow. Today, I did good cause I really want to be 105lbs.again, I maintained that weight for two whole days, lol before Sunday's disaster and I was feeling great. Now I feel bloated and fat, I don't like it at all.

WI went about as good as can be expected. I had gained .9 before my really bad week last week (didn't record it on my ticker because it wasn't "quite" a pound, lol). 10 days later I am still at 222, so somehow I lost the .9 and didn't gain after all the food I ate last week. I will take it!

I don't think I'm going to lose 6 more pounds by the 4th of July, but 3 pounds is realistic, and that would put me out of the 220's...so I guess 219 is kind of my new unofficial goal.

Love: congrats! Lori is usually the one who puts the challenges together, but I'm guessing we'll probably do another one...we usually use some sort of holiday as a goal. So I don't know, maybe labor day? What do you guys think?

Fruitlady: I feel your pain! I know you'll get back on track though!

Farn: I TOTALLY know how you feel! Summer has really been hard for me. Haven't really lost anything since I've been done with work (I'm in education and get the summers off.) Just seems to be food (and/or booze) everywhere I go! In July we have a 4-day concert camping fest thing AND we go to Vegas for a week...I really have my work cut out for me!

Misspriss: Great job staying OP. Hope you enjoyed your Chinese

Boat: Going in the right direction is always good, even if we don't quite make our goals. In my case, I'm just glad to be maintaining right now! We will all get there eventually!!

Well, I will be offline until Sunday as we will be camping in the middle of nowhere. Not sure if we will even get cell signal...so hope you ladies have a great week and weekend!

Feeling good today and on plan. The week has been really good. I had to do an in home workout around the house and that was good. Thanks to Lori!!

Northern - This challenge I've been tweeking my goal along the way. The Labor Day Challenge sounds good but so far away. Is that the only holiday after the 4th.
Farn - I started with 1200 and moved it up to 1400 based on where I want to be and what the loseit app on my iPod suggested. This week I have been bobbing between 1300-1500. Which is better than the 4-5k I used to eat a day.
Lori/Misspriss - I was a "secret" FB Family Feud addict. If I go on I have to play...even at work.

Okay, I attached a pic so you can see what I look like today. I don't know how much I weigh but when I look in the mirror I look smaller than I do on pictures. If I look at the clothes I was wearing before I started they don't look so big but if I put them up against me and look in the mirror the clothes look huge but I don't. I think it may be the mirrors and windows I'm looking in, what do you guys think. You can go to my public profile and see the pic I took back in March and tell me if there's a huge difference. I couldn't attach it because it's too big.

Well, I didn't go to the exercise room yesterday, but I did ride bikes last night for about 45min...and then again this morning...atleast it's something

Ashley--I'm really not sure where the motivation is coming from...probably that my MIL gets up early and she calls me to meet her up there...and I can't really let her go by herself! haha But i'm still overeating, so it's probably not helping at all! lol

Northern--LABOR DAY challenge sound good to me!! I'm sure that's hat Lori was thinking too It is kinda far away, but there's really nuttin in August...LD is 9/6 so it'd be lik 8wks...i don't care tho...as long as we have a challenge

Jiggle--LOOKIN GOOD!!! Keep workin it girl!!!

Hope you guys are having a great week!!
