I'd love to join. I was at 173 on the 23rd. I didn't weight myself this past Saturday. I had my TOM and didn't want to see that "horrific" skewed number so I took a pass:-). But...I think I'm going to shoot for 10 lbs from 173. So..

!. By July 4th 163 lbs.
2. Run 3 times per week and walk twice.
3. Keep my calories between 1500-1700.

Hopefully I'll have a good weigh day on Saturday. Best to everyone...here we go!

I am new here but I would love to join!!

Here are my goals:

1. To be 220 or under by July 4th.
2. Use my eliptical 5-6days per week (15-30mins)
3. Remind myself everyday that I can do this!!!

I'm new here, but could really use this challenge! I have vacation in July, so this works perfectly for me.

My Goals:
1. 10lb lost
2. Workout 4-5 days per week
3. Buy (and actually be comfortable in) a great pair of size 8 jeans to wear on the beach watching the sunsets

Jdonato- CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! Now you can relax and really enjoy yourself. You deserve the time off. By the way- tomatoes and peppers are great starting plants! Lettuces can be a bit of a pain because the seeds are tiny (some barely visible in the dirt) and they usually need to be only an 1/8" down- I think they'd be great in containers, though! I do have lettuces planted in my garden, they're just such a pain to plant, haha. I have *gasp* 16 tomato plants this year- just caved and bought 4 more. And I also now have 12 pepper plants (4 habenero, 4 jalapeno, sweet red pepper and sweet green). One or two plants are plenty enough...but I must be thinking of feeding the whole town.

Baben- Congrats on the upcoming anniversary! Serious accomplishment- you must have a wonderful man by your side!

Okay, I have to go to work...just thought I'd stop in quick. Everyone's goals sound great. We can do this ladies!

JD - YAY You did it!!!Now take a couple of days and soak it all in. You worked hard and now time for the payoff!!!

to all the Newbies. We are having a great time with these challenges. This is a great group and plenty of motivation!!

Lori - 14?? I'm aiming high this go around. I think I can make it if I really push it. I will be eating more fruits and veggies this time to see if that gives me the extra push I need. I got my 2 liters in today so the water I drink the rest of the day is just more help. I got up and did my workout this morning. I'm praying a lot for the strength to do what I gotta do.
MissPriss - I think I may be biting off more than I can chew but I will give it one heck of a shot. In my signature I'm giving myself until my birthday to get there. But Hey I can try.
Farn - We can do this. It'll be like cramming for an exam. So every waking moment it will be about the goal...ok Lets get it done!!
Aluxa - I think you'll do fine when you go home. Once everyone tells you how wonderful you look it'll keep you motivated and you'll end up showing them how you do what you do!!

Whenever I do level 3 of 30DS I get extra pumped for the whole day. I did it this morning and I've been bouncing off the walls all day.

It's summertime so lets get our bodies pool party ready

Jiggle, I think you're right about keeping my calories about 1800 ... and I don't really want to eat less anyway! So we'll give it a week around the same level, and see how I do! Good luck with your goal this time ... betting you can do it!

Ladies, regarding my 46 year marriage ... I won't kid you that it's all been easy, but he still brings me tea in bed every morning, and we have a ton of fun traveling together! I'll keep him ... Thanks for your good wishes!

Well, this is my first day fully back OP after the girls' weekend. Did some extra cardio today and am feeling pretty good!

Might be awhile before WI...Friday is my usual day but I think TOM is on its (his? LOL) way, so will wait until that bloated mess is over with. (Funny how womens' problems always do take on a male identity--ha!)

Newbies: welcome! I will warn you that these challenges are addicting!!

Really gotta stay on track now for a while. My weight is going up and up. I refuse to be the way I was before, so I'm sticking with it. Had 955 cal. today, I was out running around all day so I didn't have time to eat much. That's ok, I had way too much yesterday at a pizza buffet. I had fun, just me and my hubby went then we went shopping. It was worth the three pounds I gained, but now it's time to lose weight!

I'd like to join this challenge. This will be my first since I am new to the forum! Id really like to get out of the 240's so my Goals for the challenge are:

- Lose at least 10lbs
- Stay in my calorie range of 1350-1400
- Excercise at least 5-6 days each week
!

I'm really excited to see how i do on my first challenge and hope to make some forum friends in the process!

AJ--where did you move from?? I'm also in Nashville and the locals call me a yankee, but I disagree! LoL I'm from WV...

Jdon--CONGRATS ON PASSING!!! Good luck gettin your resume out there!!

baben--46yrs!?!? HOLY COW!! That's awesome!!!

As for me, well, I'm back down to 169.6 today...hopefully it'll keep going down since I've been good calorie-wise! I know I said I'll be happy sticking round 170, but I kinda want a cushion for when I go away next week bc I'm thinking I'll HAVE to eat out every meal! NOT GOOD! I'm going to a conference at UT in Knoxville and will be staying in the dorms...not sure if I'll have access to a kitchen...so my food choices are gonna be slim! I do plan to hopefully WO some while I'm there...might take 30DS & my portable DVD player bc I do get my own room...no excuses there!

I did my 8th WO of Level 3 on 30DS today! For some reason, my thighs are killing me!!! Especially the outside of my leg just above me knee...but only 2 more WOs and I get to measure!! I'm kinda excited bc I can totally tell in my pants! even tho the scale hasn't moved much, my pants are getting looser! so it's all good! I agree with SUSIE that we shouldn't expect to lose weight while doing 30DS...BUUUT, inches is another story!!

OP w/calories today...just got done w/dinner & still have 229 calories remaining! Enough for an orange and apple later as possible snacks Hope everyone had a good day!!
