The day here was nice~My roof is done My door is in~but not quite done~There coming back to finish it in the morning.~I went to 2 yard sales today & have exciting news....I bought a pair of size 4 Levis Nouveau 515 Shorts For goal shorts & when I got home I tried them on & they fit Perfectly!! I AM SO HAPPY~I never dreamed I could right now fit into a 4!
I got 6's 7's & 8's also & they fit too~So It depends on the brands But I am thrilled!~Oh then I told my mom & She told me that her & my sister decided that there is no way I am losing this weight by counting calories & walking so They came up with I am taking laxatives & vomiting~LOL~OMG~MY FAMILY SUCKS!~there spreading around town that I am taking laxatives & throwing up!~They truely suck~I am so disapointed in them. I Do all this hard work & I am so proud of myself & If it was them I would be equally proud of them~& they make up lies about me ~which makes my accomplishments seem like nothing~to people.....UGH!!!!!!!!(they was actually stating the concerns to people my mom said~Just to make me miserable & to make me look anerexic~However you spell it)
OH & for there info I am constipated now & Would never take a dang laxative~And throwing up is so gross & I only due that when I have the flu & can't help it & it is a natural reaction as well as the number 2~Whenever it is natural too I do~Oh well Aint nothing gonna ruin my size 4 moment
There just MEAN IDIOTS~! & they can kiss My size 4 A$$(LOL YES I AM A BIT MAD AT THEM~LOL)



Congrads to those doing great & to those giving it one heck of a try for this challenge~WE CAN DO THIS ~STAY STRONG EVERYONE!
I am worn out must get some sleep.

WOW Lori!! I can't believe they're like that...I"m truly sorry you have to put up with family like that!! Atleast you're strong and don't let it get to you too much...Keep it up! CONGRATS on those size 4s!!!!!

Not only did TOM finally arrive (5days late), but I started my "new" plan today...I guess it's more of an experiment than a new plan, bc I'm only going to do it for 1 month...just to see if it'll jumpstart my weight loss again...Day 1 went well...but it helped that I was busy at the start of my work shift...I now work 3-1130 and usually from 3-6 I'm STARVING and do a lot of "grazing"...that's when I hit the chocolate bowls! Haha BUUUT, today was a success AND they even filled up one of the bowls with all my FAV hershey minis...INCLUDING REESE CUPS! AAAAHHH I walked past it one time and thought "Oh, I can have just one" and then said out loud "NO!!! I CAN DO THIS! I DO NOT NEED CHOCOLATE!!!" haha I'm a dork I know, but the little pep talk helped! Tomorrow's Test: DONUTS! haha I even made signs today for my desk...i found a pic of a box of chocolates with the red circle and line through it...then I made a similar pic that said CARBS and put a red circle and line through it in MS Word...so, yes, these are signs of my true inner dorkness, but HEY! Ya Gotta Do, What Ya Gotta Do!!! hahaha

ALSO...I read an article today in Fitness about yogurt (or calcium in general) and a professor at UT Knoxville did a study and found that those who ate 18oz of yogurt per day lost 22% more weight and 61% MORE BODY FAT than those who merely reduced their calories...18oz is a 6oz container at every meal (or 3 snacks throughout the day) SOOOO, I'm gonna add this to my experiment I've recently fell in love with Dannon Light & Fit (never ate yogurt before until about a month ago) so I'm gonna have 3/day!! I hope I don't get sick of it, but I doubt I will considering every time I eat the peach flavor, I feel like I could eat several in one sitting! They're so dang good!!!

CONGRATS to those of you who are losing!!! And for those of us stuck OR just losing motivation...DON'T GIVE UP!! WE CAN DO THIS!!! We still have 4 wks...plenty of time to make progress!!!

Lori - That really sux about the nasty things the family is spreading around town. I wouldn't let it ruin my moment either. They're just jealous and hating because you were able to do what they wish they could.

KDM - Thanks for the info about the yogurt. I eat it once a day but I'll have to increase my intake. I eat it for a morning or afternoon snack. Let us know how your "experiment" goes. Congrats on the chocolate resisting. Feels great huh??

Well I started doing 30 day shred again and I feel great. I did level 2 and it's good that I've been going to the gym everyday. I plan to do my resistance bands and ab workout this evening. I will stick with my new menu for five more days to see how much I loose. It includes a lot of fruit and veggies with protein. If it goes well I will be sticking with it for a while. I can eat the same thing everyday effortlessly. I can track my calories easier too.

LOL, lori....thats telling your family! Congratulations on the size 4shorts..that is such a huge accomplishment. I dream of the day i can fit into a size 8.

Jigglefree-was i you that asked how i calculated my calories burned? If it was i use a heart rate monitor when i workout.

Hello to everyone, just a quick check in before work today. I did get a nice step aerobics workout in after work yesterday, and today i plan on doing something too. Eating not going great but im hanging in there, every day is a fresh new start!

Lori~ WooHoo, size 4! Don't let your family get you down; they just can't see how you did it with diet and excercise because they have acomplished it themselves. Hang in there and keep your chin up.

Wanted to add Misspriss~My daughter is your height...she wears an 8 . she weighs around 148 Or so But She has fit into them & 10's for about the last 15 pounds or so.~So hang strong girl You are nearly there~And Btw you & my daughter Are both pretty ladies so your look good regardless cause she was just as pretty at your weight as she is now!! cause you look so cutesy in your pic with your family & I adore you~& of course I adore my daughter too~Actually I think you shorter girls look fab with some extra junk in your trunk~hehehe~So in other words since I blab On & On & rarely make since My point is ~your one hot lady~So just keep up the good work & that 8 will be your victory before you know it~HUGS!

Lori: first off....SCREW THEM! You are very hot and have done an amazing job! they are just jealous, and to be honest, if you were taking laxatives and throwing up....you would see signs on your skin and body...ummm yaaa...I don't think so! I'm very proud of you for the size 4...that's so great! Be proud and strut it!

KDM: way to go on passing the chocolate and you can do it for the donuts! I think it's great you posted signs...it let's ppl know you mean business. Keep it up!

misspriss: hang in there, the eating will pass. Nice job on the workouts!

jigglefree: Good luck on your 30day shred. the bf apparently now wants to do the workouts starting Monday....I need some good resistance training...do you have any good ab workouts and resistant ones? I could use some help.



I have work in a little while and I may work until 10 if they need me, which is fine either way...I look at it as exercise. I'm still doing well with eating and CC. I'm drinking 12 to 16 glasses of H2O a day! It feels good to be hydrated. I have to start doing some ab workouts....and then gaining some muscle in my arms and legs. Looking a lil megar there. I'm happy everywhere else but my stomach....it's like a bowl of jello...solid with a little wiggle room lol. Everyday I'm trying to keep healthy, eat lots of fruits, try to get it more veggies, take my vitamins...TOM should be here in a week so I"m prepareing for that...I still can't fall asleep naturally at night, I know I have alot on my mind but my body just isn't tired...I switched to lite coffee (half reg, half decaf) and I have 2 cups in the morning...and then no caffiene all day..nothing! So i've been taking sleeping pills, not alot, just half the dose it says to take, so only 1 pill, and that helps me slowly fall asleep. Maybe the morning workouts will help. Well I think that's enough for now. i will talk to everyone a bit later hopefully. tonight is our eat out night...what to get?...any ideas....not fast food though.

Lori: I’m sorry for what your family is doing to you. Also vomiting does not make people lose weight but makes then sick and you should point to them that you look healthier. for your size 4.

This week I have been lazy. I think that the gray days affected my mood.

Well, after almost a 3week hiatus, I'm back to my ticker weight!!! haha Just got done doing a 45min ride on the recumbent bike...totaled 10.6miles...felt really good condiering I hadn't rode it since January! Did some upper body w/5lb weights while riding also!

Well, I need to get ready for work so hopefully I can get back online tonight @ work and reply to everyone! HAPPY FRIDAY!!! YAY! for Spring!!!!!

Good afternoon, ladies. Just got home from a 5-ish mile bike ride for the first time in a few days. The wind was COLD but not too strong, thank goodness. Thinking I might try going for a walk later. Robert has the day off from work today, and dinner is leftovers, so not much to do. May as well exercise while I can.

I'm worried about the scale on Sunday, but I guess I will just keep on going and doing the best I can and hope I make my challenge goal.

I'm a little disappointed this a.m. I am down .2 from last week; I was hoping for whole numbers. I have been on plan, so it is frustrating. TOM arrived on Thursday and I have had more sodium than usual, so I am really hoping that I am retaining some water weight that will go away soon. Since I cut soda way down (not even 1 a day any more) I have been drinking major amounts of water. Here's hoping the scale says something I want to hear when I step on it next week.

LOL, i think there maybe a little too much junk in my trunk 150 is the weight im aiming for...sooner or later i will get there, i will hang in there. Love your new picture pretty lady!

Lori- Congrads on the size 4!! Don't worry about your family, you just keep up the good work! My family teases me all the time about what I eat( natural whole foods) or they try to push candy and cake on me. Just ignore them.

As for me, I had 1500 cal. today, but that was because I was working hard all day on building a new patio in the back yard. I was lifting 20 lb blocks all day! I'm sore, but I must have burned alot of calories. I got hungry more often, so i had to eat so i had the energy. I was actually gaining weight for no reason the past couple days, then when the weather got nice I started walking and doing the patio. I was so surprised when I stepped on the scale this morning, I dropped 3.5 lbs. I only have 1 lb. to go for the challenge!

Amelia-thanks so much. Any ride is a great ride this time of year here!
crossing my fingers for a wicked good one tomorrow. Hillwork and longer distance.

mkyice-just keep going, you'll make progress. And you CAN drink too much water, so you might want to check on that. To much, too little, who knows where the happy medium is!

fruitlady-Yippee! for you! I bet that was a great feeling. If I recall correctly, you were having a rough go of it. Glad you're back doing well.
