Good morning Ladies!! Lori - I hope you feel better soon. I was thinking about you this morning wondering where you were.
I'm doing well today. I feel better about those pants that didn't fit me but I still reduced my calorie count to 1200. I did real good yesterday. Today I brought all my food and no cash so I don't get off track. I love you guys!! I will have to workout after work because gotta run errands on my lunch break...annoying!! On a good note...I have lost an inch in my hips and an inch in my belly, also a half inch in my waist and half inch in my breast!!! I measured this morning and I feel good about that!!
So we have 14 days left on this challenge and I gotta get down and dirty. We will be making these bodies sweat and feeding them well so we can see our hoped results!!!!

Arrgh! Soooo close! But at least I got my 40 pound avatar :O)
Jiggle: I'm glad you're feeling better. You do what you feel is right, but I'm afraid you're lowering it too low. I was at a stuck place about a month ago and I upped my calories by about 200 and things started moving again. Do you calorie cycle?
Lori: I'm glad to hear from you again. I've been missing you. I hope your breathing gets better soon.
Susieyard: I also believe that we need little splurges. However, when I just started this journey a little splurged might have mean bye bye to my plans because that happened before. So I have been trying to avoid them; but last weekend show me that I can stay on plan after them My trip will be on June. I will see my family after almost 10 years (that means after many extra pounds too! LOL)
Jigglefree: you are welcome. We are here to help each other
Lori: I hope you will feel better today
My update:
SW: 177.7
CW: 171.2 (2.2 to go)

Misspriss~I go to the lung doctor on may 17th. So just about 1 month to go.
It is starting to rain here in OHIO which will help take pollen levels down some & believe it or not I am breathing a little better today~Maybe My doc is right~he says asthma & allergies /emphysema all combined with the record high pollen levels were getting are messing me up big time!
I got a new low weight this morning & I am on "TOM"
I was 157.8
7 pounds til my 150! wooot~Hoping My breathing stays as good as it is today Cause I can stand it & deal with it.It aint great but its alot better.
HUGS TO ALL! Sorry for the depressing post last night but I had to let it out!
Lori~ Come shopping in Japan! I see lots of people here wearing masks. Some do it because they have a cold or something and don't want to spread germs, others do it because they are trying to avoid "things" in the air. Do what you need/want to do. If people are staring, maybe it isn't your mask, but the new body you're rocking! I hope you get to feeling better soon, because not feeling well SUCKS!
Congrats to everyone that is losing, staying on plan, etc. to those that are struggling, hang in there.
I am staying OP with my food and water. I am finding it very hard to talk myself into exercising; some days I win and exercise, some days my chair wins. Right now I am winning more often than my chair, so for now it is ok.
Scale was down another 1.2 this week...leaving only 1.2 to go for the challenge!!! I was super hungry yesterday, not sure why, but all I wanted to do was eat!! Kept it below 1500, but not by much...I didn't exercise ALOT this past week so I want to add more this week...gonna do the recumbent with some hand weights here in a bit...may try riding at my normal pace during the tv show, then pedal fast as I can during the commercial breaks...trying to change it up a bit...
miss--How's the new job? what is it that you're doing again??
jiggle--CONGRATS on the inches lost!!
susie--YAY! 1.5 down, sorry it wasn't what you wanted, but ONEderland is right there...do you weigh every day? or will you now just to see that 199?!?!? GOOD LUCK!! maybe w/all those hard WO's you did this week, your body is adjusting and you'll get a big whoosh??!!!!
aluxa--Good Job gettin back on track...2.2 to go...and 2wks to do it...YOU GOT THIS!!
LORI--Glad you're finally posting again....love readin your updates...sorry to hear the pollen is gettin to ya...but maybe it'll get better!! not that we like rain, but if it's gonna help reduce the pollen, then c'mon rain!! lol CONGRATS on the new low!!!
mkyice--Congrats on beating the chair!! lol I wish I could say the same!! Keep up the good work!
Hi chicks, I gained 2 ounces. I really don't know why, my salt intake is always low. I had 1295 cal. today. That's a little too high for me, I better not gain again!
1.1 lousy pounds. Been OP all week, including my first totally OP weekend in several. <sigh.> I guess it's just one of those things. 5.5 lbs left for the challenge. I'll never make it at this rate Well, I guess I will just keep on trying and get as close as I can.
My Old Navy size 16's I got 6 weeks ago are just literally falling off me. They're so saggy and baggy and look terrible now.
I went shopping at Cato tonight to try on some 14 jeans and I chose three pairs to try on. I got capris since it's getting hot. They all went on just fine. I was afraid I'd have to suck in and really hop up and down to get them zipped, but not at all! I just pulled them up and zipped them! They even came with a belt and it met and fit with no problem!
I cannot tell you how excited I was! My daughter was in the fitting room with me and I was jumping up down so excited. She is 9 1/2 and is really proud of me and she was happy too.
I don't know if you're familiar with Cato, but one side is Plus Sizes and the other side is Jr/Misses. The last couple times I went in, I felt like a foreigner who didn't really belong over in the Jr/Misses. But tonight it felt normal. I really was afraid though, walking into the fitting room, that they were not going to fit.
It was so nice to have 3 pairs to try on and decide which ones really flattered me best. Instead of just finding any pair that would go on my body!
I'm just so happy!
Jiggle, I'm going to private message you - after these 16 Old Navys are washed, I'm really sending them to you and you'll be in them SOON! Maybe we can start "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Shrinking Pants!"
YYAAAAAAYY!! SUSIE!!!! NEW SIZE!!! I know how ya feel about walking into the jr/misses section...I still wanna look on the other side, just to see if there's anything on sale that might fit! haha NO NEED TO NOW!!! I'm just weird like that!
Speaking of new sizes...ya'll know my size 12 Gap jeans I've talked about before on here??? I tried them on tonight for the heck of it...was gonna wait until 170, but what's 3.6lbs!?!?!?! hahaha SOOOO, I grabbed 'em off the wall (yes, i still have them hanging on my bedroom wall to remind me every day what I'm working towards!!!) and they don't look too bad!!! last time I tried them on, I was suprised to see I could zip them...but tonight, they fit snugly, but not TOO TOO snug...if I had to wear them, I could and not feel embarassed! Not too much of a muffin top, but still a little too tight for my liking in the thighs & butt...It's gonna be a shame if I never getta wear 'em because it's summer and HOPEFULLY I'll be at goal before next fall...maybe a night out this summer I'll wear 'em...OR maybe I won't ever be below a 12 and I can wear them when it gets cold again...
that brings me to a big question i've had recently...for those of you who have already lost a bunch of weight and have gone down many sizes, did you ever think you wouldn't fit into a certain "small" size, but eventually did?? I can't remember ever being a size 12 and would be very happy if I maintained a 12 for the rest of my life, but I just don't see my hips/thighs being much smaller than that...like my body "type"/"structure" won't allow it...Did you just keep going and the smaller sizes kept surprising you?? or is anyone near their goal and can't reach a smaller size they "thought" they'd be in by now??? just curious....
Kdm ~to answer your question....The smallest size I ever fit in that I can remember was like a 13/14 in the 6th grade. I weighed around 170 to 180 Then But do not remember My sizes before that age cause I was a kid & could care less I guess~Then with marriage at age 17 I got up into 18's &
20's after having my kids....Then When I started losing weight I needed a 22 cause the 20's was to tight. They was 20W also which is a little bigger than a Regular 20.ANYWAYS to answer your question I dreamed to get into a size 8. But figured there was no way! Right now I am in them But there getting to big~7's fit pretty good & 6's even better. Some 4's are fitting too......From the time I hit into a lower number than 13/14 I was amazed & even had moments I felt unhuman cause the change was so drastic for me~& I never really thought I would even ever get into a 8's because I thought I was big boned~I am actually not big boned at all I am A very tiny frame ~I have chicken legs LOL & Little boney arms. I think u will be suprised the more u lose. it is amazing what all shrinks with each pound! I have tiny wrists & ankles now too~They was always so huge before~So I am blown away~Hope that made since~HUGS!
makes perfect sense Lori...thanks for responding...I guess I should just be patient and maybe I'll be surprised one day when i go to try on clothes...next time will be June for new Beach Clothes!!!
KDM~ I'm with Lori; I think you will see smaller than an 11/12. I'm 6' with a medium frame and many moons ago, when I was at a healthy weight (165ish) I wore juniors size 11. I won't be suprised at all to here you posting about fitting into single digit sizes in the coming months.
