ANYWAYS.......

It's time for a new Calorie Counters' Holiday Challenge!

Everybody did great on the St. Patricks DAY Challenge.
Some of us met our goals, some of us only got partway there,some went the wrong direction, but we all put in a great effort, learned some lessons, made new friends, and supported each other... and that's what these challenges are for. Now, we're ready to set our sights on a new challenge, new goals, and the next 6 weeks & 2 days of this journey!

Here's how it works... Set a goal or goals that you would like to reach before Arbor Day ,April 30th 2010 . Your goals can be anything: pounds you want to lose, a smaller clothing size or outfit you'd like to fit into, sports or fitness achievements, or just a goal of keeping food and exercise on track. Whatever gets you excited about working your plan over the next few weeks, is the right goal for this challenge. You can set as many or as few goals as you like.

All are welcome! If you're not sure what your goal will be yet, but would like to join up and find some weight loss buddies, get and give support, please jump in, and you can post a goal later, when you think of something. Our main purpose is to motivate each other to keep the food on plan, keep exercising, keep getting leaner, more fit, and healthy.



I may not be able to check in daily,Since I am a mom of 3~ But I will do my best too. HAVE A GREAT CHALLENGE EVERYONE & HAVE A GREAT ARBOR DAY & PLANT A TREE IF POSSIBLE WHEN THAT DAY ARRIVES!

My goals :

1) To reach my 100 pounds lost ~LOL Nearly there but ~"TOM" Is here so I am weighing into day at 161.8 So that will be noted as my start weight for the challenge.
2) Since Spring is here & I can get more exercise I am gonna make this challenge number a big one~I wanna reach My MAIN goal of 150 which will be 11 pounds to lose from my todays weight~I am gonna work hard at it & hopefully I will get there or very close!!!!!
3) To Fit in 6's as my totally main size in most any brand. I can fit into 6's in American Eagle brands.Aint really tried many others.

Arbor day..Glad you gave the date cause I was going to have to look that up

Keeping my goal for last challenge....nothing to change. Main goals for me this time is eating healthy and more exercise.

I have to drop my weight watchers membership ...My dh lost his company cell phone..company is cutting costs so my cell phone bill is going up adding him to the plan. The family will not let me drop cable so weight watchers has to go. It sucks but I did it before without watchers I can do it again.. I guess. On to good news......

I have a brand new niece born today How cool to have a st patty's day baby

I'm in. I'm going to set an astounding goal of 15 pounds! That will be about 2.5 pounds per week, which is about what I've been averaging. I'll do my healthy best!

This 6 week challenge is just what I needed to make myself see that my next mini-goal of 260 is actually within reach. I say mini, but it is really a HUGE goal for me. I can't wait!

I would like to lose 10.6 lbs for this challenge. I weighed 177.6 today, so that would put me at 167. Another side goal is to eat less fast food. I usually try to eat the healthier options, but I would like to try to avoid eating from these places as often.

WooHooo! Sign me up! I would like to lose 12 lbs, at least. That's 2 lbs a week, which is where I am supposed to be. I guess that would put 214 lbs. as my new weight on April 30.

I can't wait to get my ticker!

My goal is to lose 14 lbs for this challenge. This is good timing because on March 1st when I weighed 211 pounds I made it my goal to lose 20 lbs by April 29th because I'm going on vacation that day. So aiming for Arbor Day is just as well . Since then I've already lost 6 lbs. Also, I would like to add more exercise into my current calorie counting to boost my metabolism. Making goal would put me in ONEderland... somewhere I haven't been in 5-6 years!!

Lorra~Wow~A niece on St.Patricks day~how lucky!
My sisters birthday is 2morrow & She seems lucky ~I guess ~LOL!Even though she missed it by a day.
So cool though!!!~as for arbor day challenge I was trying find one that wasn't too far away or to close & Not that noticed really~LOL~since last times repeat of challenges.~I had to look up holidays in April to find it myself.~LOL! It seems like a great holiday~Planting trees. I got a zillion trees But would love to plant a weeping Cherry tree~they are beautiful!
OH & Weight watchers is sad to lose~But u can do this regardless!!!! JUST HANG IN THERE!!!!

I'm back ladies. Sorry for being MIA. I hit a plateau for a solid two months. But, I'm back and moving again. Still participating in the Biggest Loser Challenge on another thread, but I want to join in for this one as well. My goal for Arbor Day is 15lbs. I think that is definitely realistic. Hope everyone is doing well.

Lori- You have done so great with your weight loss. Congrats on everything!! So inspiring!

OK, so six weeks. Hmm. Well, based on my not so stellar results from the last... what... two challenges, I think I'm going to have to stay realistic instead of ambitious, espcially as I still have two weeks of my busy season left and that just slams me. So I'll go for 8lbs, 4x workouts a week, and... hmm... on my eating plan at least five days a week. That gives me a little leeway for days when I plan to go off plan!

Glad to see people signing up already! I think everyone will push and support everyone else.

Hey Arbor Day friends! Here I am again.

My goal is to reach ONE-DERLAND!! Exercise goal is to keep at 5-6 days per week w/o taking two days in a row off from exercise.

Ok, I can do this thing! I can't wait to be in One-Derland y'all! I have not been there since 1995!!

OK: so for my first daily report in the Arbor Day Challenge . . . Calories at 1548 and for exercise I did Denise Austin's Yoga/Cardio/hip, thigh, buttock focus.

When is Arbor day? () i can't find the date on the calender

Any-hoot...i plan on losing 5lbs a month. Did make my st.Patrick's day challenge but im fine with that...lots of things going on the past couple of weeks.
