Northern - grats on the loss! get more water in, couldn't hurt

I just took some body shots. I'm so depressed at how BIG I look.. like it should shock me, I AM 262 lbs. But, I just never see myself that way.

I'm so glad I have like NO pics of me 30 lbs heavier. UGH!

Can't wait to get to my next goal - 50 lbs total loss (20 to go!) and take new ones. Though 20 lbs may not show that big of a change. We'll see!

I'm ending my day at 1339 cals. Did WATP 2 mile with ab focus & walk away resistance belt. The family also walked one lap around the subdivision after supper - even the dog so - that's a bonus .75 miles.

Ok, going to watch some Biggest Loser before bed. Nitey Nite.

p.s. Lori - hope you do fine tomorrow at the dentist and those valiums help you relax.

Thanks y'all I took one of the valuum(however u spell it earlier as my dentist orders) He said to take one before I went to sleep then 2 an hour before I come to my appointment....Well I freaked out over taking th epill~Do to my anxiety disorder~always scared to try new pills....Now that it is setting in & didn't kill me~LOL I am feeling super calm~calmer than I have been in 7 years since my anxiety began.....I hope I do great should with these they make me super sleepy and to where I could care less....So If I am mis typing Please ignore~I am on the meds~After about 5 more appointments I will be done I think~Other than my partials there gonna get me.~Hopig this new ealth care reform will help more with dental expenses for me.~OMG~I am ready to fall over & get some sleep~No wonder they said to get someone to drive to & fro the appointment~I gotta take 2 of these in thr mroning & one is making me wanna go to sleep~~Oh & the answer to an ealier question ~i am getting feeling down~several at a time....I think 4 to 5 teeth today. then I have 3 more appointments or so for fillings~thing is that the numbing shot makes my heart feel weord like it is racing and like I am having palipitations...so Since I have an anxiety disorder the dentist wanted t me to take the valuum rather than my xanax I normally take for anxiety....~I hope this made since~I am drowsy & Not with it.NIGHT ALL

Lori - I hope the drugs work and you're nice and calm tomorrow! I used to be terrified of the dentist til I found a great one, and now I'm much better. I have to be sedated for work on the back teeth as I have severe TMJ disorder and I can't open my mouth wide or for long without being sedated. Sedation dentistry is phenomenal.

Nicole - thanks for the suggestion on the menu. I ended up with capellini pomodoro, which was capellini, extra-virgin olive oil, garlic, and tomatoes, and I added grilled chicken. I ate about a quarter of the pasta, all the tomatoes and chicken. It was so good - and I avoided the bread basket. It felt good to have some control.

So as I posted ^ I had a good time at lunch. The business discussion was really good and... Andre Agassi was at the next table. Yup, my first local celebrity sighting! He looked good, too - very fit and well, and he's got a great butt!

Today was good for food and workout - I went swimming for the first time in a week, and it was good to get back in the water. Two days on track - I'm just taking it a day at a time, but I have to do it a day at a time for 14 weeks. That's when we're going on our trip and I want to be fitter and healthier for that!

Did good with calories, but up .6 today...I think I took in alot of sodium but eitherway still one step closer to my health. Today is the Graduate Expo at school, I order my cap and gown, get tickes and all that good stuff! As it approaches i'm getting more and more nervous, I have to pass my classes this semester and I'm so scared. I'm worried that because I didn't do well on that one exam for my class I won't pass it and then not graduate, well I still walk but not officially, and my dad would have wasted a trip for nothing. It means so much to me to make him proud because he's a EE too and the fact that I've taken many years to finish due to struggles in the beginning and now I'm finially going to finish...If I pass!. *sigh

The bf and I got into a fight last night, and over what exactly........I guess I'm a little frustrated that it's been almost 5 years, and no engagement, no commitment. He tells everyone that he wants to marry me and tells them what he wants our wedding to be like, and that just embarasses me more when his family, friends, my family, friends all look at me like...so where's the ring then, you love together, have joint bank acct, I'm almost done with school, I do work, and so does he......I Farn knows this, he's in the racing industry and with his knowledge he's able to build and produce engine parts and make good money on the side, well if he really wanted to marry me he could find the money and do side jobs...I don't care what anyone says, if a man wants to marry a woman he will make sure of it. I"m not materialistic, it's not the ring that's important, it's the symbol it stands for. A commitment, a start of a new life and family, keeping a promise and making good on all the crap he says. I don't know, I'm just so frustrated right now, I'm scared, frustrated, I don't want to put more time, money and effort into a relationship that will never go anywhere, he makes all the excusses in the world!.....*sigh

sorry to just complain like this....I will get back on later and get to everyone. Hope you all have a great day!

Hey everyone. Well I was still at 177 this morning. I'm pretty sure my problem is dinner..I tend to eat more than I originally plan to by having a larger portion size than I should. Hopefully once I fix this problem I will start losing again. I bought a kitchen scale to keep at my boyfriend's house since that's where I eat dinner at the most, so starting tonight I will start weighing my food in order to eat the right portions. Well I'm off to Walmart. Have a great day everyone!

Lori - I take valium for when my anxiety is the worst. It makes me sleepy too, sadly.

Jules - good job being Op again. keep it up!

Jam - 3.5 lb loss is AWESOME! keep it up too!

Jdonato - Girl, do I hear ya. I was with my hubby for 5 years before he proposed and like you I felt that it was never going to happen. We've now been married for 3. I hope he comes around soon and like my hubby has a grand plan for it.

Journey - welcome to the challenge. Good luck

Zoo - just remember, at least you aren't gaining it back right? You know what you need to do, you have a good handle. Good luck too!

ShylahEQ: Thank you so much! I needed to hear that. He talks about money and how he wants me to work full-time so we can be more secure...I look at it as all his bills and mine are paid, he makes enough money to cover bills, but he chooses not to make extra on the side and save for a ring. I hope he's lieing his *** off and has been planning this whole time.

zoochick: I totally understand about the dinners, I'm the same way, I notice when I have a lighter dinner I lose more weight. I wish you the best of luck!

MyJourney2Slim: welcome back! You can lose 5lbs we are all here for you

Lori: I hope your dentist appt goes well.....you'll have a beautiful smile soon

I went to the Grad Expo today, I got my cap and gown and my orange tassel (Engineering is orange I guess) and then I signed up for the Alumni Assoc. and got my tickets....wahooo! It's really settleing in for me and giveing me more confidents to study my a$$ off to make sure everything goes well. I hope everyone is enjoying their day!

JD - men are slow. It took my DH just under five years to propose - he had the ring for 11 months, though. The day after we went and looked at rings, he went back and bought one - then kept it in his sock drawer for 11 months. Little sh*t. But he wanted to wait til I was done with school so he proposed the week after I graduated. We've just celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary so I guess he was worth waiting for. Mostly. Btw, my tassle was beige - so boring. I guess they figure business majors are dull.

Didi - welcome! Glad you decided to jump right in and get challenged - I like your goals, I think they're very reasonable but also challenging enough to make you want to succeed.

I am *SO* torn on signing up for boot camp. It's $150 a month, which is not cheap but cheaper than personal training sessions. But the location that's most convenient is only evenings and I much prefer working out in the mornings - but the morning location is a 20 mile round trip drive. And I'd have to be there at 5am. That may be a bit early even for me! So I can't make a decision... I wish my gym had boot camp classes so I could do those but they only have one and it's at 5pm - sorry, still working at 5pm! Grr.

On a happier note, can I just say how much chocolate mousse revives the soul? Made with fat free milk, sugar free Jello pudding mix, and fat free Cool Whip. So good, and 60 calories. Oh yeah, am happy person now.

I'm at 1100 cal. today. I am pretty full, so I don't think I will eat anymore today. If I get hungry later, I'll grab some strawberries or grapes. I lost 1.3 lbs. since I started the challenge, it's going so slow. 1100 or 1200 cal are really to high for me to lose much weight. 1000 to 1050 for some reason works. I've been addicted to f.f Reddi Whip w/ my fruit the last two days, making my calorie count a little higher. I should stop, but it's just so good. 2lbs.to go for the challenge!
