Smile

Hiya, Red team! I'm in a particularly good mood today for two reasons: one, I fit into a nice blouse at a "skinny girl" store. (Okay, so it's a big deal for me, if not for anyone else. lol.) AND two, blueberries were on sale tonight for 99cents at the grocery store! Awesome night for me!

Melissa -- I agree on counting the shoveling as exercise! It is tough work! And doing it once is punishment enough, never mind twice! We don't have snow over here yet (Canada) which is really odd. Congrats on trying weight watchers - you're braver than I am. I'm too chicken to meet with other people in the room. Is it true everyone has to weigh in together? I knew someone who did it (way back when) and said they had to weigh in as a group. I guess that can be pretty darn motivating though! lol.

Laura -- We all have those days. It can be SO hard to get over (mentally, we tend to keep beating ourselves up about it), but you can do it. The fact that you're sticking with exercise just goes to show how strong and determined you are to stay on track. Don't worry about one tough weigh-in, it could go either way, you just might surprise yourself! You rock!

-Yello.

I dunno about the group weigh in, but I would think that if you didnt want to you wouldnt have to, otherwise that is just cruel and not what WW is all about. I'll let you know though! I cant imagine many people enjoying that! Way to go on your great day!! Skinny minnie!

Laura-- Don't beat yourself up. And don't be scared of food. Food is not an enemy. Food is our servant. It's there to nourish us and give us energy. Just chalk this one up to experience. Now you know to watch the alcohol since you get buzzed easily and don't make the best food choices when buzzed. Enjoy your weekend with your friend!

i'm going to agree with the others, don't beat yourself up for having a bad day today or yesterday with food. You are human, it's going to happen. Now just don't let it drag you down over the weekend. Do something about it. Go for a walk, go to the gym, go for a swim... and hopefully you will get to enjoy a 3 day weekend!

Why is it I build these darn things and MINE is the only one that is ever falling apart. OH YA THATS RIGHT my kids get all the good stuff and I get the old junkie hand me downs lol. I had the newest processor and mother board but my darn drives were about 5,465 years old and have just taken all the abuse they can take. I had three of them go POOF POOF POOF in three days lol. THATS IT I am building me a 64 duel core and and getting me three new drives ( they really didn't want braces on their teeth ), if they don't like it they can go smoke co co puffs lol.

Wow, I am way behind and tried to catch up on the thread. This is the first time I was able to spend any time on here.

Michelle- I see you are a Montana girl too. I get over to that side of the state on occasion, we may have to get together one of these days.

1. What do you prefer we call you?Deb or Debster
2. What weightloss plan are you using? LA Weight Loss
3. What is your favorite exercise? The Firm workout tapes, treadmill, but I really hate exercise right now.
4. What is one area that you struggle? getting in enough exercise and drinking all my water
5. What is one area of your weightloss journey that you excel at? planning out my meals
6. What is your short term goal? To get back down to my all time low of 165
7. What will you reward yourself with when you reach that goal? Haven't really thought about it.
8. Best weight loss tip? Stay hydrated
9. Bob or Jillian? I like them both.
10. Tell us about yourself! Been married to a wonderful man for 18 years this year. I am a professional picture framer and love what I do. I can't have children, so we have 3 very spoiled chocolate lab "furbabies". I teach beading classes where I work and have to hit every bead store in every town I travel to. I also enjoy photography, traveling, scrapbooking, watercolor painting and just about anything crafty.

Deb, welcome! I'm really impressed with how far along you are in your weight loss journey; it's really awesome! I'm always looking for new exercise DVDs... how much space do The Firm ones require to do? Lots of dancing around the room, or more doing stuff in place?

Red face

Good Morning girlies. Well We decided on burger King for dinner last night and although I could have chose grilled chicken Salad, out my mouth came Whopper, fries and a shake! So I ate it. I went WAY over calories and I felt like poo for doing it. Then I wake up this morning and my tummy is KILLING and and I am thinking y'all can figure out the rest. My body is rebeliing against fast food. I think that's cool but a painful lesson for me, lol!

Anywho, back on track today. Apparently this wedding thing is REALLY going to happen. The fututre in laws up in PA are steadily planning things so I need to get on the ball! It's going to be a a family camp ground that we go to and celebrate every 4th of July, up in the Pocono mountains and is an outside wedding. I am going to get me a cute little bathing suit and teehirt/ shorts with bride on them because we are doing a pool party/cookout reception and below is the dress I am aiming for. Not doing fancy shoes. What's the point? It's outside and I can't see myself climing up a grassy hill in high heels lol! THAT would be comical. They have cute bridal tennis shoes too, but I thik Flip-flops would work...
Dress & Shoes-

I like this dress too, but it's more form fitting and I'll do good to be at 155-160 lbs by July 5th. So I think Dress #1 will work better.

Good Morning all! I got myself up bright and early to go to a WW meeting, but then read on the thing for your first meeting you've got to arrive 30 minutes early, so now I have to sit and wait for the 10am meeting. Kinda throws a wrench in my day but I'll get it figured out. Priorities right!?

Shy moment...your post made me laugh! Ha, go smoke cocoa puffs! Braces are overrated anyway LOL! I hope you get your computer up to snuff very quickly!

Deb..we should totally get together sometime! You have come so far in your weightloss journey, that is really impressive! Way to go!

Diva....the king is a terrorist! LOL! I hope your tummy is feeling better now. that stuff just isnt even worth it. I went to costco last night and they were sampling Turkey burgers, they were really good so I went ahead and got them so I can indulge in a burger guilt free! I love that first dress! And with flip flops how cute. I wore white isotoner slippers when I got married and I decorated them to look weddingish. Still have them LOL..so i can pass down the wedding shoes to my girls LOL! JK!

So Diva got me thinking, I should shop for my graduation dress! Give myself a little something to work for. I wont be at goal but I'll be a heck of alot closer!

The scale showed me up 2 lbs this morning which doesnt thrill me, but I know its just got to be normal fluctuations. Or perhaps my meal was a bit too salty. I dunno. I was a little over my points last night but I had those extra ones to use. Stupid scales are for fish! Not gonna let it bother me, onward and downward!

Have a wonderful saturday everyone! Its cleaning day around here and boy does it need it!

Well, I will never be able to stay up with all the posting. But, thought I would introduce myself.

1. What do you prefer we call you? M23BC
2. What weightloss plan are you using? My own (less process foods, more veggies and healthy protein/fats.
3. What is your favorite exercise? Walking or anything fun that I do with my kids.
4. What is one area that you struggle? getting in enough exercise and eating enough veggies. I am not a cook, so it is hard to find ways to eat veggies.
5. What is one area of your weightloss journey that you excel at? When I put my mind to it, I can eat the right amount of calories (hence not too many).
6. What is your short term goal? To loose at least 5 pounds a month.
7. What will you reward yourself with when you reach that goal? Umm good question. When I reach my long term goal, I am going to reward myself with a clothes shopping trip. I get $100 dollars for every 10 pounds.
8. Best weight loss tip? Don't eat alot of carbs after 5:00 p.m. unless they are veggies.
9. Bob or Jillian? I like them both.
10. Tell us about yourself! I am a stay at home mom of three. I am blessed with a wonderful husband, 3 beautiful children, and great friends. I am lucky enough that I can teach my children at home.

Just have to chime in and say I had a great week! I still need up my exercise routine because the first week always shows the greatest loss.
