Good Afternoon everyone!! Oh what a lazy day. I went shopping with my oldest today. Our mall is having its annual sidewalk sale so we just had to check it out. By the time we got home I was exhausted so we went to take a nap! LOL! I tell you this frigid weather will get ya in that mood. Its gotta be below zero with that wind temp....see how it is on the packer game tonight...we've got that too! BRR!

So I did the best I could to enter what I splurged on last night, come to figure out my flex points for the week start on Saturday so like Danielle said I basically just used all of those! So I'm okay as long as i stick to the straight and narrow all week long. You just gotta love a plan that lets you do what I did and its still okay!

Sara...I know eventually you'll figure out the key and get that scale back to moving! Thanks so much for the kind comments. I really get so much from this group and you get back what you give.

Danielle....thats exactly why I didnt buy those new WW Bliss Bars yesterday. While they are REALLY good and only 1 point, I wonder if I'd stop at just 1. Best to just not! LOL! I didnt get the Dyson it was 3x what I spent on this one. But this one says it cleans better than the Dyson LOL! The Dysons were all sold out so I saw it as a sign.

Counting...I'm the same way as you, once that hunger hits I'm in trouble. And with me i can feel just fine and then all of a sudden I'm starved. They say to listen to your body but I'm thinking mine is sure how to communicate just yet LOL!

Jen...I actually love the cold and snow, can you believe that? LOL! The warmest I like it to get is springtime weather. Thanks for the compliments! You are right everything will even out!

Tina...ah forgetting to eat! LOL! Sounds to me like you are enjoying your long weekend to the fullest...good for you! My whole family is nightowls so I get my quiet "me" time if I get up early which puts me to bed early too. I hope you had a wonderful day! Made that goal right!?

Mom23BC....

Alright, time to go scare something up for dinner. I had planned on trying a new crockpot recipe I got at my meeting yesterday and completely forgot to start it before we hit the mall. So thats on menu for tomorrow. I'll have to post up the recipe. Have a lovely evening Red team!!

Hello all!
I'm trying to stay on track this weekend. I don't do as well on the weekends and I have a 3 day one this week. My water intake has been terrible! I didn't exercise Fri or Sat due partly to a sore ankle and partly to a cold house. It wasn't near as cold as some of you ladies had (and exercised anyway.) It was about 15 degrees yesterday. A little warmer today.

I did 30 minutes of cardio and 50 minutes of toning and stretching. I'm not going to do personals right now, but will say that I enjoyed all of the conversation the past few days.

One quick personal: Diva - LOVE the first dress and the flip flops are adorable!

Good evening! Bubble baths are becoming a thing over here. I went to take a shower tonight, and thought...ahhh what the heck and made myself up a nice bath and read my Shape magazine Well I didn't do boot camp today, but I did do a pilates video that was 40 min. so yep Melissa I got my 5 days in this week I didn't want to do it today, but then I got an e-mail from my SIL, and she told me she walked 40 min. on her treadmill everyday this weekend, and that was all I needed to hear...that and the fact that I set a goal and I knew you all would keep up on me I need to get my eating back under control, but it's always easier during the week...like Karen it's harder for me on weekends...I think I just think weekends=fun=food!LOL! For real that is my problem food=everything for me...happy, sad, angry, every emotion and I turn to food. Have any of you found a way to deal with this? It is something that I still haven't figured out and I know I won't be 100% successful until I do. I don't know why it has to be so dang hard! I think just don't eat, but while I'm thinking that I'm grabbing something to put into my mouth. That is something I want to really focus on this challenge.

Melissa- How did your first meeting go? Did you like it? Let us know

Karen- I would take 15 degrees right now, it's that cold here, that when you go outside your nose instantly freezes.

God I've been chatty this weekend...LOL! Have a nice night ladies~

Tina....I did like the meeting, I felt like it was very rushed, and I didnt really understand everything that was going on. It was so busy LOTS of new people, so I think the center was just overwhelmed. But I love how diverse the group is. And because of an order problem I didnt get the usual materials you usually would get at your first meeting which I'm sure explains alot to clear up my confusions. I like it alot, got a couple of recipes off the boards. So far so good, thanks for asking! Way to go on meeting your goal!! YOu rock!!! What is the new goal for the week?

Karen...way to go on the exercise!!! Seriously Red team you all inspire me so much on getting that done! Tomorrow I promise you we are going to the gym!!

Nice going. Sometimes it just takes knowing someone else is doing what we should be doing to get us moving.

ksk
Darn you have a heat wave, break out the bathing suits and i will be right over. Wish it were 15 here lol. So darn cold out there even the dwarf rabbit was knocking on the door and screaming " LET ME IN" lol. Get back on the wagon and you will be fine. We have a brand new week here and we can all do what we know we should do.

Hun
Sidewalk said heck. They could be selling diamonds 1 dollar per bushel and I wouldn't go out in this stuff lol. Those nuts at the game lol what crazy person is going to sit out in this weather. Not me no way no how. Sit in front of the fireplace lol.

Tina
Glad you got that cleaning done. I love to clean. I love to go room to room and find nothing to do lol.

LOL!!! we are going ice skating for my dd's birthday, and I swear the skating rink is colder than it is outside! I'm hoping I can reserve a heated locker room. Although I promised her I'd get on skates this time so I'm sure I'll be sweating from the workout!

*sigh*
I made a huge mistake today. I had decided that since tomorrow is WI day and I don't exercise on Sundays, I would really restrict my calories. IT BACKFIRED, because I found myself starving tonight and went on a BINGE.

And so now...I just have to wait until tomorrow and see what my damage is. Blah! My personal WI day is Tuesday, but for this challenge, I'm also weighing on Mondays. Ugh, I'm just so mad at myself. But! I gotta suck it up and learn from it. Hopefully I'll still have some kind of loss for the week.

Cassie....its that hunger monster. It'll get you every time. I think the hardest thing for people to remember is that you HAVE to eat to lose weight. For more reasons just the fact that once you get hungry you set yourself up to binge. But our bodies have hormones that start working against you when you arent getting enough calories. Ghrelin tells you that you are hungry and leptin levels drop saying feed me! So when we think by limiting our calories we are helping, we really arent! But, right now there is nothing you can do to change the past except to learn from it and move on. You are doing so great Cassie, do not let one mistake derail you. Remember these feelings and learn from it. The scale is just a machine and tonight cannot erase the fact that you've lost over 71 lbs!!! Tomorrow is a new day and its going to be a great one!! Chin up!! Lets win this battle! I know you can do it!!

Thanks so much, I know that you're right, but for some silly reason I thought that I could hold strong for ONE DAY--Ha! Lesson learned, however...and yep, I've lost over 70lbs! No way am I turning back.

Thanks again, I needed that.

Good Morning everyone! It's a COLD one here, nearly froze on the walk from the parking lot to my office. Brrrrr!

You were all a chatty bunch over the weekend, I will try to catch up on all of the posts, but if I don't get to it, just wanted to say way to go on all of the great losses posted on the WI thread. You are all so inspiring!

Overall I had a not so bad weekend, but learned one important lesson:

Vodka + not enough sleep = BAD workout

I went to the gym yesterday and had a really weak workout. I was complaining the whole way through. I guess I learned my lesson - my goal is more important than having late nights and drinks with the friends.

I talked to my WW leader on Saturday morning and we decided that the reason for me not having much of a loss this week (even though I stuck to my points) is that I might not be following all of the 8 Healthy Guidelines. So I reviewed them again over the weekend and will make a conscious effort to meet them everyday.

Hope everyone has a great start to the week!
