I am sorry so many people are struggling this week. I wish we could set up a live chat so we could post when we needed support and get it, immediately!

I have had a good weight loss this week but am really stressed out and busy. I am making a lot of changes to rearrange my life. I hope this maintains or speeds up my rate of loss!

Chin up Grrrrrrrrrrrls! We need to pull together as a team. Don't let yourself be discouraged. Think of yourself and of our team. We are 1/3 of the way there already and up until now, we have been invincible as a team! Think of how far we have come and how much more we can accomplish if we work individually and together as a team in the remaining 2/3 of this challenge!

I love the idea of substituting the flour for whole wheat! I need to try that!

Here are some rules for bread substitution:
http://findarticles.com/p/articles/m...1/ai_n19389254

I don't do this for my bread. I am not trying to impress people, just feed them.

All baked goods are a lot denser with the wheat flour. The almond flour is mealier, but the flavor it adds is out of this world. When I use the two together, the almond meal adds moisture that the whole wheat would absorb, so it is a wash in terms of softness/chewiness.

For cookies, I do bar cookies mostly b/c I am lazy. I think yesterday was the first time my kids have seen me do drop cookies. With the bar cookies, the difference is almost unnoticable.

I have never tried a cake with whole wheat flour. It just does not seem like something I only make for a special occasion should be made 'healthy'.

With the difference in fiber and other micronutrients, it is so worth it. I do this with my pizza crust too. In addition, I add ground flaxseed to things as well.

And if you think I tamper with baked goods, you should see what I do to spaghetti sauce!

I don't mind if you use the chat room that we use Tuesday nights for support. The only problem with that is you'd have to time when people would be online and in the chat.

Afternoon ladies~
Well I gained a pound this week, which I was figuring would happen with ttotm about to rear it's ugly head. This weekend I made a workout plan for the rest of the month and I got an email for a free month at Leslie Sansone's website so reading there and reading here and doing my workouts, I should see something happen!! I'm also thinking of switching to Core for the week and see how that works for me. I need to find my materials and read what it's all about first though.
We will do this!!!

When you sign up for WW do you get both plans then choose which one to use at what time or do you have to sign up for just one plan? I am thinking of visiting a meeting to see if I like it.

Hi ladies! Sorry to see so many having hard weeks. Something about the time of year, maybe?

I'm back from my Thanksgiving weekend at home. Great relaxing weekend with the family, but WOW am I glad I chose to use a freebie this week. These drugs are wreaking havoc with my appetite, and that combined with Thanksgiving.... well, I'm nervous to get on the scale tomorrow morning!

Remember, we've won three weeks in a row - it's certainly okay if we let the red team have ONE winning week. I kid, I kid.

I'm sure with the start of a new week, and a lot of encouragement and support from each other, we can turn things around. Let's go blue!!

I just got done with 30 minutes of WATP - the first exercise I have gotten in over 2 weeks. And let me tell you - I feel like I haven't exercised in over a month! Not that I was breathing really hard or anything because I did the 2 mile which isn't as hard, but I could definitely tell from the tightness of my muscles that I hadn't exercised in a while. I was finally able to subtract on the Flight to Weight Loss Freedom thread which makes me happy. I was actually OP today for the first time in almost a week - I finally manged to stay within my points and get exercise. I'm hoping the rest of the week goes just as well.

BTW - does anyone else like the Jello 60 calorie no sugar pudding snacks? I can say that I LOVE them - I have a pretty big sweet tooth, so not being able to eat my Oreo ice cream every night or having cookies has been kinda hard to get used to. The Jello pudding seems to hit the spot though - it's a cool snack, hits my chocolate spot, and is only 1 point so it's a good dessert after dinner.

When you go to your free meeting they usually go about the regular meeting for the people that have paid, and at the end they have a new person meeting that can last anywhere from 5 to 15 mins. That will be your best time for Q & A.

When you join you get your paperwork for each plan. I like flex cause its strict but some people like core better.

Let me know how it goes!

On another note.... I think my mood is getting better. It looks like there might be light at the end of a tunnel if we move in with Daniel's parents. We still have until December so there's time.

Just looked at the weigh in thread and there's 2 people we lost this week.

Here's a list of people that had to use freebie weeks cause they didn't weigh in.

Shame we lost two this week.

I just weighed myself, and luckily - no gain! This is certainly a Thanksgiving miracle! The freebie was still necessary (no access to a scale yesterday), but glad to know it's not going to set me back. What a relief!

Good morning ladies! Well I made it to the gym yesterday for the first time in weeks, and it felt great! I always feel like I work myself harder at the gym! I think it's the pressure of everyone there, I don't want to give up in front of strangers! The kids go back to school today...YAY! They had off Friday and Monday, and they were home a lot last week with being sick, so it's time! I am going to go the the gym this afternoon while their at school, and then tonight were going to look at beds for Joey! My mom gave him the money for it for his b-day, so now we just have to go find one he likes! He is in a twin, and were going to get him a queen! Joey is a really big kid, not heavy just a big boy, really tall! He looks goofy in a twin bed! He was like can I get a king, ummmm no I don't even have a king! If mama don't have one nobody has oneLOL! Anyways that is about all I'm up to today! The weather is getting ready to turn here, and I can't wait! I am so done with 90's for now! I'm ready for nice cool, crisp days....jeans and sweatshirts here I come! I bought some almonds the other day, those things are fantastic! I eat a few before lunch or dinner, and it really helps me not to overeat at my meal! Well I'm off to make beds and get the kids ready! Hope you all are having better days today!

Chellez- Glad things are looking up for you!

NoVaVTFAN- Great job on starting your exercise back up! Keep it up girl!

practiceliving- Glad to hear your visit went nice...I love visiting family! Hope your meds start to even out for you!

Have a fantastic day ladies!
