Hi all...

I've been crazy at work, trying to compress 4 weeks worth of work into 3 weeks, so that I can take this week off. No progress for me this month (still). I've got 10 more days to lose SOMETHING before my monthly progress photo and weight check in on my blog. I'm getting some traffic there, so the pressure is on! lol I don't want to have a flat month so early in my diet. We had some snow again this weekend, but it was the wind creating drifts that were a problem.

I hope everyone is doing well!

Rob

Hi Everyone!

Sorry to hear that you all are fighting the bad weather still. I hope it clears up soon.

I made the Ratatouille, and it was ok. Too much Quinoa in it though for me. Next weekend I will try the Kale Lasagne. Been tired and sick for the past few days so haven't been up to much.

Still jumping up and down between 2 pounds. I hope it stays down pretty soon. My husband says he is happy with where I am at now diet wise. He doesn't want me to lose anymore. That is good to hear. I would like to lose just 5 more pounds just to get down to 130 though as a compromise vice 120.

Staying on course so far this week. I have the kids home for school vacation, so I'm running around with them. No cheating (so far), but it does get tempting. Still stalled and looking for a whoosh soon.

Hope everyone is doing well!

Thanks for the well wishes. Feeling better today head and stomach wise, but still tired. So taking it easy on my exercises for now.

Rob- hang in there. The scale will start to move again soon. I think your body is just trying to rearrange itself in order to deal with your weight loss and new eating style.

Hi Renee! Sometimes it is those small temptations that get me. Glad your back on track again. Guess we all need to have that Rob will power!

Hi Renee,

Good to hear your staying on track. Were you out due to the weather too?

I think a lot of people are being impacted by it right now.

Hi I'm here and will check in when I can. I have recently gained a few pounds back and STILL (seems like I've been doing this forever!) about 38 lbs! Actually I'd settle for losing 28 or 30. I would like to at least be below 145 as I've been there in the past and know I still had a big belly. I do well for a while and then slack off on the trying. It is my evening snacking most that messes me up mostly. I am pretty good with my meals. I fill up fast but then I'm hungry again within an hour even though I need pretty healthy. In fact it doesn't seem to matter whether I eat a little or a lot, I still want to eat again within and hour or so, I just want a different taste.

Welcome to the group Maryea! We are glad to have you here with us.

Do you have plenty of time to think about food after you eat? Just wondering if you are usually busy after eating or perhaps doing casual activities such as reading or watching TV. If I can keep busy afterwards, it helps to take my mind off food especially thinking of desserts. I try to keep myself preoccupied doing something totally different. What do you do in the evenings after eating?

Hi Maryea.....what I do at night to curb my appetite is have a cup of hot tea. Seems to work for me...

It's hard to get rid of the belly fat as we get a little older

I heard that green tea is suppose to be good for weight loss. You could give that a try if it tea doesn't upset your body.
