Karen, try uploading your picture to Imageshack. They have a choice to resize your picture for the web. Then just post the forum 1 link here. They are free

Em - wow - glad your new job comes with folk that value a healthy lifestyle! That is AWESOME!

Beth - similar weather here - yuck! I have only seen one robin so far, but I have been pretty busy. I need to "stop and take in the scenery" this week. I think that needs to be on my list of things to dol

Yoyo - glad you are back on track! Way to go using 3FC to motivate you No stoppin' you now!

Lyn - I agree with Linda - beautiful picture! You are absolutely radiant!

Freda - congrats on your damage control! That is hard to do! Also - getting right back on track is awesome! One day won't cause you much damage at all

Philly - thanks for sharing the leprechaun tradition - new to me

Rosey - great picture! Congrats on your win!

Lynn - I don't think I congratulated you yet on your new svelte size 10 figure! You have been doing GREAT!

Another crazy day here - but I was able to get in my pilates and aerobic dance routines today I am so tired of working out indoors. I can't wait to walk outside again! Let's hope that tomorrow brings the first hints of spring!

Hi there . . .

Well -- Spring has Sprung . . . you can tell by the freezing rain that is falling from the sky. The whole of Easter Weekend is supposed to be much the same -- hope that crazy rabbit bundles up.

Hope the rest of you get a decent day and a chance to really do some outside stuff . . . back later, hopefully . . .

Morning everyone....Sorry that Spring is roaring in on you all. We had big rain last night and sun just broke thru.

Lynn....Can't imagine ever being in a size 10 with perkiness, too!

Lyn....Lilacs are my favorite Spring flower and we can't grow them down here. I always had a bunch stuck in my grandmother's cut glass pitcher and then knew it was Spring.

This is the dreaded cooking all day and I haven't even started. Totally unmotivated. Need a swift kick to get jump started.

I got the picture down to thumbnail size but still can't download here....work on it later....

Take care of yourself, eat heathy and hugs...karen3

Darn it....forgot was making brownies....no eggs left. Have to go get some. Have made egg salad, cleaned the vegies, made dip, made 72 deviled eggs, and cake is cooling. Got peacock eggs for snacking(jelly beans). Still have make roll ups and 100 sandwiches. Looks like a 2 cooler trip.Oh and cream/olives on flat bread. Sound like it will feed a 100? Am not lickin' or tasting because I can hear some golden hens clucking in my ear...so thanks guys I need that.

off to Publix....need anything? karen3

Hi Everyone,

Remember when I told you I bought an MP3 player, but there was no USB port in my computer? Well, I dropped off my computer yesterday to get one inserted. Turns out there are 2 - in the front of my tower. They are behind a little door that I never knew was a door. Later today I'm going to try to set up the player.

Hi Linda, the photos were taken by one of my cousins. She's supposed to email them to me. As soon as I get them, I'll post them. Talking about photos, when do we see one of you? I really liked it when just about everyone on the board had their photo in their Profile. Whatever happened to that?

Hi Karen3, about missing folks - these Weight Loss boards are everchanging. People join up & people leave. The nice part about this board is that people feel free to come back.

Hi Laurie, you and I are partners here, but I think you'll pass me by quickly. Over the past 140 days, I've averaged around 3 weeks at each pound. If I contine at this rate, I have another 2 weeks before I get to 148. I'm with you on walking outside! That's why I'm getting the MP3 player set up. I want to walk in the park & listen to books on tape.

Hi Rosie, I LOVE your photo. You are BEAUTIFUL & you have a most contagious smile! Believe it or not, the salesperson talked me into a bra with padding! I've always been so large that I never even considered this. She indicated that when gravity has taken over, we need padding below to give us support. It works.

Hi Patti, I never heard of that one, but I LOVE it. When my DD was little, I used to do little tricks on St. Patty's Day (turn pictures upside down; tie together the ears of her stuffed bunnies...) & tell her the Leprechans had done them. This year, she played some on her DH. Switched the milk, and oj.

Hi Lyn, I LOVE your photo. Great the way your blouse matches the lilacs.

Hi Freda, I'm sorry to read about your "meltdown." I'm going to post a new thread on the Board - "Ideas for Getting Back on Track."

Hi YoYo, food/exercise/diets have been my major "activity" since I was about 20. I once did an analysis of my budget & found out the only thing I spent more money on that food was dieting!

Hi Beth, I'd like to see Alaska also. I'm not crazy about cruises - too focused on eating - but I'd like to take that train across Alaska.

Hi Em, Glad to see you back home! What kind of incentives for healthy eating & lifestyle?

OK - I'm off to try setting up the MP3 player.

Check back later,

Lynn

MP3 Websites?

A while ago, someone posted a list of websites where you can go to download audio books. Does anyone still have that list?

Karen: it sounds like you are feeding an army. I can use some eggs!lol

Lynn, good luck figuring out the mp3. I count on my teen sons for that sort of thing.

Meowee: happy spring! Need to give mother nature the hint...blustery snow out my front window right now! I really would like to come out of hibernation.

Counting: you are so good about the exercise. I did give five hall laps in around the school today...

Was up during the night. Probably doing the motherly worrying thing about son leaving this morning to return overseas.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone! Mine is a long one as tomorrow is a holiday. Talk to you soon. Bethz

There is definitely a photo on my profile -- it's immense. It used to be on my avatar but I got tired of seeing so much of myself.

Hi Linda,

I just visited - how NICE to see you! I see that you are another redhead! I knew we had a kinship!

I guess I didn't mean the "Profile" - maybe the Avatar? What do you call the little square where you have your cat & I have my photo?

I uploaded a picture for my avatar but when I previewed it, it was so huge that I wasn't sure how it would work.

Hello all ~

Wanted to hurry and get the above posted before something happened to it.

It was nice here today ~ sometimes on my day off, it isn't so nice out. It was about 65 and sunny. I have been wanting to ride my bike again, but it has either been too cold, rainy, or I was too tired. Got to do that today and really enjoyed it. Hope that some more of my days off are nice so I can do it again.

Hope you all have has a nice day.

Hi GG's, I worked today and I have to work tomorrow, so not much time to talk. Just wanted to stop in and wish my "Other Famly" a Happy Easter. Holidays are always tempting, but remember, there will be other holidays and other food. Try to stay on your chosen diet and get some exercise. Freda

Hi y'all...just checking in and was locked out of 3fatchicks. Got in and then couldn't sign in. Somehow my password changed. Had to wait for 2 emails before got here. Must have been the troll again.

watching the news. Are you in the midwest okay? It says flooding won't crest until Sat.

Have everything done but the sandwiches. Will do them tonight and store in 2nd cooler. Except egg salad, that'd get soggy for sure. Last time I directed walked 1 mile with 2sections....wonder what I'll track with 3 sections. I still wish that the diet gods would let me loss extra for not licken' and tasting.

Lynn...must tell you that i have been using the menu plan email and love having ideas. Use 2-3 a week. So again..thank you.

Back to the kitchen. 100 sandwiches to go.

Take care of yourself, eat heathy amd hugs...karen3

My idea for Easter - I'm going to be with DD & SIL for their Easter dinner. I am making and taking my dinner with me. I began today & made a VERY low-calorie veggie soup. Tomorrow I'm making a carrot cake w cream cheese icing (no sugar, low fat). Saturday, I'm making apricot chicken - low carb.

I'll figure out the calories & plan my breakfast and supper around this meal.

Lynn
