I have missed you gals soooo much. Decided I needed to check in a little more often.
to all of the new gals. It is so good to have you, maybe Meowee won't have to talk to herself quite as often now I'm not going to have time to talk to each of you individually but I sure hope we hear more from all of you.
CONGRATULATIONS !!! to everyone that has had a loss recently. It is a long rough road we are on but we will all get there with each others help.
I am holding on to my weight, don't know why, guess I hate to part with an old friend . I have started on an exercise program again, thanks to one of my patients. She joined our wellness center here at our clinic and she comes in when we don't have any patients and in order to help her I told her I would do my exercises right along with her, it seems to be working well for both of us. At least I am getting in some movement for almost an hour a day, as she is coming in 5 times a week.Maybe in another week or so I can change my tracker, that would be nice.
Our weather is so changable, the early part of the week was in the upper 60's and today it can't get to 40???? Must be Spring, our Canadian geese have all left the lake and are heading home. I always hate to see them go, but it means nicer weather is on the way.
I hope all of you are having a great week. I do sneak in once in awhile to read what you are all up to. Hope to get back more often as I need your support.
See you soon, DONNA

Hi . . .

Good to see you DONNA and yes, definitely good to be talking to someone else for a change. Those little (well actually there's nothing 'little' about them) geese are in for a rude awakening when they hit the border . . . we are definitely not very Spring-like yet.

I've had a really weird day. As most of you know, I'm a Diabetic . . . when I got up this morning my sugar level was a little high (probably stressing over my dentist appointment at 11:00 for a root canal). Anyway, I decided to delay eating breakfast for a bit and then (believe it or not) I totally forgot until I was pulling into the parking lot at the dentist's office and felt those nasty symptoms of a hypoglycemic event (dangerously low blood sugar) coming on. I immediately took some glucose tablets but was still staggering a little when I walked into the exam room. Anyway the dentist freaked out and decided to reschedule -- probably a good thing. I mean who needs a nervous dentist playing in your mouth with very sharp instruments. Also a bad thing, of course, because now I have to wait until April 8 to get this blinking root canal done.

Other than that SSDD . . . the sun is shining, but it's cold . . . LouLou and I did our normal Thursday mall-crawl and I'm ashamed to say that I definitely overdid it at lunch today. That's what happens when you skip meals -- you get over-hungry and then all H--- breaks loose. We went to Swiss Chalet and I even had dessert. Oh well, tomorrow is another day, thank goodness.

See you later . . .

Hi folks!

Meowee: I'm glad your dentist rescheduled. Sounds like that was the smart thing to do. I'm sorry you have to go thru a root canal tho. I hope it's painless for you.

Donna: Glad you are holding your weight and it hasnt gone up. Good for you!

Hi newbies and welcome.

I lost a lb. today. I'm very thrilled about this. It took FOREVER! lol Hope I lost more, but more quickly this time.

Morning . . . had to say that quick . . . it will soon be afternoon. Nothing big happening for me today and a good thing since the radio is yelping about a lot of accidents over last night and the early morning. Yep we've got about 4 inches of pretty new snow, sparkling in the intermittent sunshine today.

Have a great day . . .

You sure do keep getting the snow, Meowee! Hope it stops for you soon.

I lost another lb.! I never win the challenges, but I do keep dropping weight.

The weather sure is strange any more....we got snow the other day...at least here it doesn't stick but it's pretty late in the year for us to get snow and it's pretty cold. My dh says we should have stayed down south a little longer, but I'm enjoying being home.

We are supposed to get sun today . . . but back to that other "S" word again tomorrow -- this is getting way beyond tiresome.

Hi Everyone,

I haven't posted for a couple of months and there are a lot of new 'chickies' on board.

I had a rough couple of months. I gained 15 pounds sitting around eating and doing nothing. Now that April is here and the weather is 'thinking' about spring, I've decided to start fresh. I hope I can keep 'on program' once again.

My goal is to eat less, get some exercise and join here in the chat more often.

Talk soon,

Hello all,

I sure don't want meowee talking to herself -- she might get shipped to the funny farm!

Today started out with rain, then the sun came out and it was shirtsleeve weather.

This is the month I hope to move into the 160s. I've dipped my toe in a couple of times, but been unable to remain. I'm hoping posting in the "Getting Lighter" forum will help me get lighter! LOL

Default Getting Hope

It has been very hard for me to lose weight but today I finally realized I'm getting the hang of this. I lost another 1" on my waist and my stomach; my worst places. I also lost two more pounds this week. It's a total of 32 pounds since last October. I really have to give a big thanks to ******** because I've never been able to lose weight before
