Morning gang . . .

It's MARCH and it's supposed to be a very LION-like day around northern Nova Scotia. Not a bad thing, I guess. Hopefully we'll get the nasty stuff over with early in the month and then the LAMB can take over.

Other than that . . . wow do I ever need a new month and a fresh new start. Currently five pounds above my starting weight for 2008 and I'm not a happy camper. Nowhere to go but DOWN.

I'm down one lb. again - finally!!!

We've been very busy starting up a new business. My husb. makes game calls. It's to make him busy in the winter months. He can't stand to be idle. Of course it's for money too. We'll see what happens I guess.

There's a little bit of snow on the ground. It's forecasted that we will get more today off and on.

I used to post on this thread last year, but somehow I fell off the wagon and gained all the weight that I've lost and then gained some

I was on my highest weight ever at the beginning of the year at 159 lbs.
I've been trying to get back on track again and so far have lost 7 lbs. to date.

To all who remembers me from the old thread - I hope you're all doing great, and I'm looking forward to get to know better the other members on this thread.

Hang in there Meowee, you will get rid of those 5 lbs. I think I am suffering from seasonal depression. This crazy weather is driving me nuts. It was 70 on Saturday and it snowed on Sunday, now come on. Today it is 42 and breezy, supposed to snow tonight and only get in the mid 20's tomorrow. It is not helping my bad eating habits at all, just makes me want to eat junk all of the time. Have been doing better at the exercise but not enough.
Elyn, glad to have you back, it's been quite some time. CONGRATS on the 7 lb loss, keep up the good work.
Dina, good going !!! 1 lb is a start and it's all we can hope for is one at a time. How's the new business going? It's always exciting and scary to start out on a new adventure. Good Luck to you both.
No real news from here, just want to get outside and walk or do about anything without a coat on !!!! come on warm weather.

We're having that same type of weather here. I don't like it either. We saw lots of robins a few days ago tho - that's a great sign!

I lost another lb. I'm real glad about this. I'm in a 14 jean now, but it is 1% stretch...so that is kinda like cheating a little bit I guess.

Good Morning . . .

Wowee . . . I do not handle time changes at all well . . . slept so much yesterday and still don't feel like I'm back in sync with the world. At least we didn;t get hit too badly by the lastest storm and today is but cold -- hope this weather pattern continues at least for a few days.

I did manage to acquire a Wii system over the weekend and spent enough time playing with it yesterday to give myself a very sore right wrist. It's great, even though the cats have decided I'm totally (they are right) and I really stink at just about everything -- my current Wii fitness age is 76

Anyway, guess I'd better go and get caught up around 3FC and then try to get some constructive stuff done around the house, too. Hope everybody has a great day on the go . . . see you later . . .

I had a pot pie for dinner. Not really on my diet, but it was good...and very little in it.

Got up to the high 40's today. Spring is around the corner girls!
