Hi everyone!

I dropped a lb. today! Yes, finally! I am 209 today...and can't wait to get out of the 200's.

Thanks for the advice, Meowee. Yest. I just started exercise for my arms. I think I will add weights to some of these exercises soon. Thanks for mentioning that.

It's raining here today. The temp. for a while is suppose to stay in the 40's, so I can live with that.

You sure haven't had good weather lately, Meowee. Hope it straightens out soon.

Dina

Dina: congratulations on the loss! And way to go on the exercise!

Blustery snow out the window tonight, rained all morning long...would love to see the sun and some sign of SPRING... ready to come out of hibernation, thank you...

I did my 5 laps around the school halls today, drank all my water, journaled.

B: 2 eggs, 2 toast
L: spinach salad with bacon vinegarette
S: popcorn
D: last of the stuffed cabbage

Was up durng the night doing my motherly worrying about son returning to deployment this morning. I have faith all will be OK. Bethz

Bethz: my thoughts and prayers are with you. Our son came back from Iraq just a few years ago so certainly understand.

Sounds like your're dog well, Dina! Congrats!

Meowee..glad you're getting sun but hope it warm up soon! We are at Travis AFB now. Arrived today. Such a sudden change in weather from the desert! It is nice but the air is slightly cool here (to us now at least). We like this Fam Camp and stay a few days here most years.

girlieyorkie - Thanks for the welcome. Glad you have rejoined and are getting back on track. Once I lost 33 lbs and was so happy but then I went back to my old ways and gained back 2/3 of it! This time I am really determined to never ever do that again!! It's been way too hard this time trying to lose it!

Hi gang . . .

Actually think I'm seeing a little bit of sun right now -- which is a lot better than the snow that is in the forecast; and even the snow is better than yesterday's freezing rain.

Nothing exciting going on for me anyway, I'm not feeling too great. I'm taking a second round of antibiotics to try to knock down the infection in the tooth that is getting root canal on the 27th and the tummy is over-reacting again.

Have a greaat moving and shaking day, everybody . . . see you soon . . .

Default Hi

I am new to the group. I am looking for people who are also struggling to lose weight. You are also in my age range! How great. I am 60 years old. All of my life I have been on every diet there is and have lost about 5 lbs. I am 5'2" and weigh about 170 lbs. I started out at the begining of the year weighing close to 200 lbs. I believe in health and I only eat healthy foods and I do exercise but weight loss is a struggle for me. I am trying ******** because a friend introduced me to it and it is doing ok. I am losing weight but it is slow and difficult. Frankly, this is the hardest thing I've ever done. I will enjoy reading about your weight loss experiences and post mine.

Good Morning, chickies . . .

to the group MandM and as well. You have definitely come to the right place for lots of support and encouragement as you travel the long and often bumpy road to better health and fitness. We will all be looking forward to getting to know you better in the coming weeks.

BTW . . . ******** has been discussed a few times in the "Does It Work" forum and there are lots of pro and con comments about it . . . here's one of the more recently active threads . . . http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/show...light=********. . bottom line of most of them -- yes, ******** works (as do most meal replacement plans) but it is over-priced and very hard-sell (a pyramid marketing method). Personally, I have no real experience with any of the VLC/meal replacement plans -- I'm a diabetic and have to be pretty careful of my intake of all nutrients. Be sure to keep us posted on how the plan is going for you.

Hope to see you soon, everybody . . . keep things moving and shaking . . .

Welcome Mand. And, thank you everyone.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, Beth.

I didn't get on the scale today. I really think I didn't lose today anyway, so no big deal. I'm still trying tho, even tho I have bad days too.

Meowee: so glad that the weather has improved.

. . . HOPPY BUNNY DAY . . .

We have a lovely morning on the go -- and I find that very comforting for Easter Sunday -- unfortunately it's also very windy and cold; but one out of three ain't bad.

Hope everybody has a really great day . . .

Welcome Mandsmsgirl ! Glad you have joined us. I too struggle with losing weight...I lose a few pounds but then gain it back. It is hard for me to be consistent with my eating. I was down 3 lbs. on Sat my weigh-in day, but yesterday and today have been big eating days we are visiting family and temptations abound. Tomorrow we head for home. I hope I do better the rest of the week. I really want to be able to find a nice dress for my dd's wedding in Sept.

Good Morning . . .

Two out of three good weather factors for today -- it's absolutely beautifully sunny and the wind is almost calm -- now, if it would just warm up a little.

No leftovers to face around here but I did manage to overindulge yesterday in (of all things) Kashi Go Lean cereal after dinner. My story (and I'm sticking to it ) is that I needed the starch to soak up the excess salt from the ham. Sounds good if I say it quick enough and often enough.

Must go out and get a few groceries and other stuff today so hopefully I won't bump into any half-price bunnies that I can't resist.

Have a great day . . . see you all later . . . try to keep things moving and shaking . . .
