Hi everyone.

Meowee, I hope that she makes out great. I hope you keep us informed.

Hi Donna. Hope your day went well. Hope shopping was a success for you too. It makes you feel good about yourself when you have your hair colored.

I had the computer repairman here last night and he fixed all my computer problems. YAY! He's just a young kid, and he does good work.

I haven't lost another lb., so I'm kinda discouraged. I HAVE to do this for me.

Have a great day everyone.

Dina

Hi, Dina and Meowee, seems like we are the only ones around these days.
My shopping trip was not a huge success in that I didn't buy a lot of things
but I did get a couple new pairs of slacks and some new shoes and a cute Spring sweater. Found some great bargains, saved 50% on the clothes.
The dress pants I got are a, get this, SIZE 10,!!!!!! It's been a really long time since I have seen that size in my clothes. Today I decided to get out my long leather dress coat as it is a Medium and hey it fits too. Was, for a very long time, too tight over the hips, but I could actually button it today.I'm still not sure about the hair color, but I'm getting used to it and I've had some patients tell me they really like it, so guess I will like it too in time. Just such a change after being pure white for almost a year. My new sweater is a soft teal and my eyes are green so it looked pretty good with my new hair color, which by the way is a dark blonde now.
Am trying to keep a cold at bay and so far I'm doing a pretty good job. I just feel really tired all of the time. The sun is shining and looks so nice out but we are still only at 18 and it is 1:30 PM. Tomorrow is supposed to be warmer.
Meowee I sure hope Lou Lou gets some good results on her tests. Please tell her that I'm praying for her. You are so right waiting to hear from the Dr is the worst part of the whole thing.
Dina don't get discouraged it will come in time. We all stall out and then all of a sudden it happens. Those darn scales seem to play games with us all the time.
Nothing else happening today so will go read some other posts and then I had best get to work.

Hi DONNA . . . our weather has been so changeable lately -- some days snowing, some days raining; most days cold -- I know exactly what you mean. Right now we have very little snow on the ground but it is supposed to start snowing again later this afternoon and continue for the next six days at various levels of intensity.

I finally made it on
Hope this message gets on before my computer shuts me down. I am from a rural area where my computer tends to shut down in the middle of things quite often. Three times to be exact before I could even get this message on. Before we couldn't get on the faster speed because we lived too far out but I think we can now. I'll have to see the difference in price.
Hope it is okay for me to post here.

Sorry about posting on the other site Meowee. I didn't realize it was just for weigh ins. I use to belong awhile ago but still don't know my way around real well yet but I'll keep plugging away. Hope the LouLou's medical tests came back good.
Hope you all are doing well.

Dina, I'm praying for Roberta how is she doing?

Donna, it has to be awesome to go into a size 10. My dream size, but dreams can happen with some hard work, you just proved it. Congratulations

The weather here is still cold as well. I am getting soooooooooooooo ready for spring. I miss my flowers out back and I miss going to the lake on weekends. I miss reading out in my back swing, and I even miss mowing the lawn.

My 10 year old son got the flu so I've been in cleaning mode and got all my carpets shampooed and doing other spring cleaning things.

Can anyone help me get a chart on my info here. I went into user CP gave all the info and it said you have just created your chart or something like that but when I went out it didn't show up. At the end I was looking for a button that said save or finished but I never saw anything like that. What did I forget to do?
Good luck today everyone

Hi . . . again . . . and again . . . Glad to have you with us.

Only thing I can think of that could hve gone wrong with your weight ticker might be that you forgot the last step -- admittedly it's not terribly clear. After you go through the creation process, you then need to use your browser buttons to copy the code that is in the first box -- the one that says "use this code for 3FC" (or something like that) in red -- and then paste it into the actual signature area on the User CP page where you started the whole process.

Give it another try and see if it works this time. If you get into problems give me a yell. BTW . . . you'll be very happy to know that it is a lot easier to update the silly thing once you actually get it on there the first time.

See you soon.

It worked . . .

When you want to make future changes to the same ticker all you have to do is go into that code box (the one you just pasted your ticker into), find the number that equates to your current weight, and overtype it.

Anmyreah: Hi there glad to have you join us. Hope everyone is healthy at your house again.

Meowee: I was thinking about you yesterday, knowing that it is your day with
Lou Lou and hoping she got good news from the Dr. Did you girls shop till you dropped again or is the weather too nasty up your way?

Dina: Still praying for Roberta and for you.

Have had a very busy week at work, but I'm not complaining, job security, you know. Went to the dentist on Wednesday morning and got a crown put on. My goodness they charge a fortune for those things. I should be good for awhile now. Well I'm already frustrated about letting my hair grow, I'm ready to get it cut. Can't figure a way to fix it that looks good, and it takes too much time to fix it in the mornings. I guess I'm just lazy, it's easier to wear it short and put a little goop on it and go!!!!
Ooops, the dryer just shut off so better go fold stuff and get my roomsready for patients. Looks like we will be really busy again today and I already have 2 new patients for Monday. I love it.

CHERYL: Are you getting all this bad weather out there.? Thought when you left the Dakotas you wouldn't have to mess with that anymore ?? We miss you here, hope all is well with you and hubby and the rest of your family. How is the FS doing? Hope to hear from you soon.

DENISE: Where are you ????We miss hearing from you too.

Talk to you next week, hope all have a wonderful weekend, it will be cold here again.

Donna

Hi everyone!

Sorry I have been missing for so long.

Thank you Donna and Anmy for praying for my sister and me. She is coming along. Physically she seems to do real well. Mentally she goes in and out. The drs. say that she knows everything but has a tough time expressing it. But, almost everyday there seems to be improvements. Thanks for asking everyone.

It's awfully cold here too. We have snow on and off, but it really hasn't accumulated...just barely.

My husb. and I are starting a business. He makes turkey calls now...along with still doing his landscaping business. Sure hope that this is successful! You'll know if it is if I say someday that I couldn't type because of the glare on my computer screen from my diamonds. lmbo Seriously, he loves what he is doing and that's important.

Got to run now.

Take care everyone.

Hi Gal's...Sorry I have been MIA so much, I feel terrible for not being here more often. My Dad is still very ill, now he is has a fungus in his lungs. His system is so week, that he seems to get every bug that is out there, plus he is suffering depression and the meds cause him to have sucidal thoughts, so we are watching him very closely. My hubby was in the hospital over the weekend with a bowel obstruction. Thank goodness a VA hospital was only 50 miles away, we won't have medical insurance till the first of April, so this was free for us.
Weight wise, I have totally fallen off, but trying very hard to get back on track.
I quit Weight Watchers, but will continue on my own and here with all of you for support. I just don't have the time or energy right now to make the meetings and care for my parents and everyone else.

Donna...We have record snow fall in the mountains, and everyone is hoping that spring warms up slowly so we won't have flooding. We were 51 today, so spring is in the air and my spring flowers are starting to come up. FS is doing GREAT!!

Talk to you ladies later,
Cheryl

I'm Baaaaack . . . actually I didn't go anywhere but my computer did. He decided on Friday that he needed a little R & R and nothing I tried would convince him otherwise so on Saturday bright and early I took him to his favourite spa. When I've had to do this in the past, he's usually ready to come home late that same afternoon; but not this time. Joe (my very favourite computer geek) decided to take the weekend off and so I was told I'd have to wait until Monday to get my dear old guy back. Then, our weather decided to turn terrible and Joe didn't even come to work on Monday. So . . . here it is Tuesday late afternoon/early evening and I just got my baby back home again. The bad news is that even Joe isn't sure what went wrong and has informed me that there may have to be a newer model in my fairly near future. This Pentium 4 has done good for me, but like all of us -- it ain't getting any younger.

To top things off, my left eye decided to act up starting on Saturday -- really weird and blurry, off and on. guess I'd better make an appoitnment with my GP so I can get an appointment for a check-up with the Opthamologist that did my cataract surgery last September -- it's almost like the artifical lens that was implanted in the left eye has shifted or something . . . although I really doubt that is a possibility? But, it is driving me nutz.

As mentioned above, yesterday (and Sunday, too) our weather was terrible. today is very cold but the sun has been shining nicely -- however, another major, major storm is predicted for tomorrow -- will this Winter never end???

Big for everybody and, hopefully (eye- and 'puter- willing) I'll see you all again really soon.
