Kayley - I have some regular (Dollar Store) sweatpants that I wear, and a cuter pair from Wally-world, plus baggy T's.

When can we start the April goals??? I wanna do a big one this time - 1000 minutes! That's just 1/2 hour a day. I'm gonna shoot for the moon this time!!

30 mins on the treadmill in the morning and 60 mins walk with hubby this afternoon. We walked from home to the local festival - some of my students from last year were in the parade - and back home again. 30 mins each way with hills, which was great. I got a heart-rate monitor this morning as another early birthday present and I used it on the walk. I managed to get to 140 up the hills, but not for long. From a resting heart rate of the low 40s though, I think this is pretty good.

Personal Goal... 155 - 90 = 65 mins left of the March goal of 1700

Group Total... 11,959 + 90 = 12,049

Wow! We are certainly adding it up again!

Take care,

Zelma

We've still got a week left of March, Valerie! Getting a little excited, are we?

Zelma...WOW WOW WOW!!! You've done nearly 1700 mins this month! *feels lazy* lol. Maybe I WILL go do a little bit of a workout right now!

Oh, I'm just excited and ready for a fresh start, and I know I'll probably be gone when you guys get around to starting that thread. With the 30 I did this morning, it brings me to 450 minutes since Monday. And while it pales next to Zelma's simply awesome 1700, for me that's "on-a-roll" that I just want to keep going.

30 + 12049 = 12079

Hello Ladies!

Well, I'm happy to tell you I just rode my bike for 90 minutes - YES, NINETY! Woohooooo!

Personal stats: 1000 (goal) - 789 (done) = 211 to go

Group Stats: 12,079 + 90 = 12,169

Valerie, I'm with you girl! I CAN'T wait to start the April goals! :-)

Oh yeah, I lost another 1.2 lbs this week. Life is goooooooooood.

I'm so glad people are excited about the April goals... I don't think there's any reason I can't set up the April thread already. I think thinthinker (the mod) will wait until April to sticky it, however.

Val, you are on a roll, and Zelma, you are inspiring!

Amber -- Good to see you posting!

MariaLucia -- 90 min on the bike, wow!

I just have a modest 20 min weight training today. I've added bicep and tricep exercises and boy am I feeling it today.

Group Total ~ 12,169 + 20 = 12,189 minutes!
OVER 200 HOURS!!!

Okay ladies, I've been exercising, just not posting

Monday - 30 minutes walking, 30 minutes exercise ball, 10 minutes stretching, 5 minutes weights

Tuesday - 30 minutes exercise ball, 10 minutes stretching, 5 minutes weights

Wednesday - 30 minutes walking, 30 minutes exercise ball

Thursday - none, I was too busy at work

Friday - ditto above

And, today, 30 minutes walking, 30 minutes exercise ball, 10 minutes stretching, 5 minutes weights, AND I walked about 2 miles at the park, but I'm not counting that because I honestly didn't pay attention to the amount of time it took - I was just walking with a friend and really didn't exert myself that much.

So that makes 12,189+255=12,444 minutes!

Brandnewme -- WTG! You're doing great and MET your March exercise goal!!! I also see you are getting close to the 2s!!!! Hopefully the exercise is helping!!

Having been inspired by all of you, I went ahead and hopped on the treadmill for another 30 minutes tonight. This puts me in great shape for the last week of the month -- which is good, cause it might be busier than I expect.

OH! And if you haven't seen it, I set up the April thread -- I know Valerie won't be here after tomorrow and wanted her goal up before the month starts!!

Group Total ~ 12,444 + 30 = 12,744 minutes!

Pretty good day all round. I kept track of my heart rate with my new heart rate monitor and I am able to keep it at the optimum rate for MOST of the time on the treadmill and bike. Keep it pretty good on the home gym, but not at optimum, but that is OK because that isn't a cardio workout anyway.

I did a fitness test using my heart rate monitor and I came out in the VERY GOOD range. I was only one point away from ELITE, which is the top of the range. My resting heart rate sat at around 41, which is supposedly very good. Whadya know?! To work out within my optimum heart rate I've got to try to keep within 124 and 141. I could sit around there on the bike, but kept fluctuating on the treadmill, so may have to work on my pace on that.

So... 40 mins on treadmill, 30 mins on bike and 20 mins of strength training.

Personal Goal... 65 - 90 = -25, which puts me 25 mins ahead of my March goal of 1700

Group Total... 12,744 + 90 = 12,834

Things are looking VERY good everyone!

Take care,

Zelma

OOPS!! I just realized I made an adding mistake on my last entry. I took

12,444 + 30 = 12,744.... instead of 12,474.

So, if the total after me is 12,474 and we add 90 minutes from our awesome Zelma (yay for reaching your exercise goal!!!!) we get

Group total ~ 12,474 + 90 = 12,564 minutes

And here I am back again! I don't usually exercise in the morning, but I think I'm procrastinating. Tomorrow is the start of a new term and I think I will have to work all day to get ready!

Anyway, got a great 40 minute walk in. I'm really starting to finally feel better again while walking. First the flu, and then I seemed to have screwed up my back. I am so glad I feel stronger again! Given everything, I KNOW if I hadn't had this thread or a personal goal I never would have exercised so much! I'm 66 minutes from my goal and feeling confident I can pass it!

Group total ~ 12,564 + 40 = 12,604 minutes!

Kayley - when I go to the gym I normally wear long cotton pants from Just My Size - kind of like leggings, but not quite so form fitting. Then I have t-shirts with my mascot, The Cheat, on them. I also wear a tank top under the t-shirt because especially in the beginning I had a few times I noticed my t-shirt had ridden up, and I don't want to think about it.

Yesterday I did my yoga DVD which was 30 minutes. That brings my total to 1103.

The group total is now 12,604 + 30 = 12,634
