What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I am determined this time. Now that I am done having children, I can focus on getting healthy. My kids need me and now is the time to do it.

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: I like food. Lots. I don't eat out of a need to fill a hole, I eat because I think 'ooh, chocolate, I love that, I'll have some of that'. I tend to binge, can't just have one thing, but go crazy if I can't have any. That's my main problem. Also drink sometimes, though not as much as I used to. I like cocktails, which are a bad idea. Also, I'm deeply embarrassed about my weight, and so I refuse to let anyone help me by talking about it.
Following any specific plan: I was on WeightWatchers but it was impractical to my life. So atm I'm just exercising lots and lots and trying not to eat so much.

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: I've realized that I eat when I'm frustrated. And I don't eat as often as I should when I'm under stress. I need to work on balancing them out so that even when I'm stressed I eat normally and when I'm frustrated I can eat normally instead of overeating.
Following any specific plan: regular excercise and better diet. no fried foods, more whole grains and fruits. I eat enough veggies to feed a small country in europe though!
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: Portions...and not becoming obsessed with every single pound on the scale. I'm now at a point in my life where I just want to feel healthier

Starting Date of Weightloss Journey: The actual date I decided to do it as a life change rather than a fad - July 21 2008 - didn't make any changes until a week later.

Goal Weight: 60kg. But I'll be happy if I can get down to 60kg successfully and keep going to around 55kg.
Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: My love of food that is bad for me, such as french fries - however I'm starting to lose my appetite for fast food burgers and such, I feel terrible after eating them, both mentally and physically. The lack of support from my family (providers of meals..can't afford to buy my own stuff). Lack of money to join a gym, buy dvds etc - though this should change when I'm not saving for a big trip as I am currently.
Following any specific plan: Not as such. I'm counting and trying to limit calories, but I'm not going to be religious with it, as I know it's not something I can stick to forever. Basically just trying to eat the right foods and exercise a whole lot more, just want to feel good.

Following any specific plan: trying to exercise and cut back portions. I tried WW once upon a time, and I didn't like it- too hard to stay motivated and on track, especially with a boyfriend who isn't following the plan.
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: Well, I weight more than I ever have before, which is more of a motivation. I hope!

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: I have no clue what to pack for my lunch to school, I hate sandwiches and the only stuff I don't get tired of is chick-fil-a. Plus I've started eating the extra food other people give me... which is why I came here, I gained back about four lbs of the weight I lost since starting school. I don't feel like I have time or energy anymore with school and work.

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I've never been motivated 'cause me being fat was shoved down my throat, my family finally gave up.
I also started losing when I was an exercise freak after my boyfriend broke up with me... we got back together, but it was a great motivator as it was the only way to stop thinking of how depressed I was.

I'm one of the smallest people both in height and weight than my friends and family.. but I find myself breaching close to the 200 mark.. plus I've been having severe chest pain from holding up by huge boobs. So I really got to get back down.
