I would like to join you , I am being stuck in 160 for a long time , feeling so bad , i was at 160 earlier this week, last night it was my open day meal
this morning I am 162 , I decide to run for 45 min to lose those 2 ugly lb
so frustrating
Crap. I knew it. I'm at 160.4 this morning. I'm ALMOST there. Hopefully tomorrow it goes down. My weight is bouncing all over lately. The tiniest little thing can make it go up. Ugh.
Nadya: Yep, I feel you. I glimpsed the 150s and the was cruelly pushed back into the doldrums of the 160s. Bleh. We'll get there, though!!! I wonder if it's quiet around here because people dropped into the 150s? I don't know - I just got here a couple days ago.
Jenan: Don't worry - just stick to what you know works and the weight'll come off.
We can make it!
I intend to be in the 150s sometime next week. Ideally tomorrow, but that's just me being impatient.
I'm so close too! I feel ya LiannaKole Yesterday I was 160.4, today I was 161.8. GAH! SO CLOSE. I think when I see 155 then I know I'll never look back.
Ugh. I'm 160.4 again. Here's hoping for a better, lower weight tomorrow.
bopbot: Wow, good job! I always have trouble not going off track when I'm sick. And I hear you about the water retention. Hopefully it'll go down soon.

would love to join you guys newbie here. i just hit 162.4 last week and it's driving me nuts. according to my last physical exam i'm already on OBESE Class 1 (ugh!)
i'm targeting 138 (for now) and uses jillian michaels banish fat and boost metabolism video as my routine. how about you guys? what routine are you on?
I'm new to this thread, too. And good for you for catching your weight now rather than later (take it from someone who knows...I waited way too long). It's a good habit to start.
I think 138 sounds great for your height. And I haven't tried Jillian Michaels anything, but I hear people love her workouts.
I'm not on a specific routine, per se. I exercise when I can. I do yoga a few days a week, bike 6 miles a week, and do some running. Although I'm kinda mentally obstinate about exercise - if I force myself to do too much, I go and quit on myself. Quite frustrating.
As far as food, I'm a calorie counter. Have been for nearly two years. It works great when I do it and not to great when I don't.

Hi, reinoa! I count calories. As for exercise, I take a spin class and lift weights three times a week, and sometimes take a yoga class for a little extra relaxation.
I'm not going to leap to any conclusions until I've been under 160 for a couple days. As I mentioned, my weight has the tendency to fluctuate by a couple pounds a day.
bopbot: Do you like spin class? I've thought about taking one, but I've never been sure. I assume it's challenging, but is it also fun?
LiannaKole, spin class is SUPER fun. The instructors really push but are very nice and it's awesome to work out with other people--I've made some friends in my spin class and I've missed seeing them the past few weeks since I've been sick. It's very challenging, and if you really push yourself in a spin class, you can burn about 500 calories in an hour-long class.
so i got a new scale yesterday & its a lot more accurate/consistent than the other one i was using, and its actually pretty much what the scale at the doctor's says too. so i weighed in at 159.0 today!!!
it feels good to be out of the 160's but, i think i'm going to wait it out a couple of days or so before i move to the 150s thread.
bopbot: I may try that. I'll have to find a class near me, but it sounds like something I'd like. I prefer that kind of thing to dancing aerobics or something.
delyn: Congrats! And yeah, an accurate scale can be helpful.

So, today my weight is 158.4, so I'm hovering around the same spot. I'm going to wait another couple days to see. I wouldn't be shocked in my weight went up again before it dropped further down. But I'm happy to see the 150s again!
I'm reacquainting myself with 3FC and love this thread! I had actually forgotten how helpful this place can be and am glad to be back around. Last Spring I got all the way down to 160 and felt great and CONFIDENT. A big setback in my life came this Fall, though, and I'm back up the scales and can't seem to commit to a routine or anything.
