It's weigh-day for me tomorrow...eek!! This week has NOT been a good week for exercise at all, and definitely over-indulged on pancakes on Pancake Tuesday and sugary cocktails last night..never a good call!! Fingers crossed I haven't undone all my good work! Thanks for the info on the % body fat @bopbot, was super glad to hear it was probably wrong! Just going to stick to good old fashioned weighing from now on..
Also, officially on 3FC 20 days, check out my pretty tracker, yaay motivation!

weighed myself this morning and I'm down 4 lbs! Wooo!
It's my first 5 lbs though and the easiest to lose, but still- heading in the right direction.
My birthday is middle of May and I'm determined to be in the 150's by then.
Okay, I'm getting ready to post a million times. I'm so behind on this thread, and now that I have time, I want to go back 4 pages or so and catch up, meet all the new people, etc. So bear with me here!
First of all, Jelbb, I finally got a chance to get my song from you, thank you soooooooo much! I love it. I do kinda feel like I'm bringing sexy back Congrats on the 160s!!!! Nadya, thank you! Congrats on the new clothes! ] Val, thanks! Mmmm, can't wait for picnic weather. We just had a snowstorm I am SO ready for spring! Buck, thanks! Keep it up!
Riesz, I hear you on it becoming increasingly difficult to lose! I'm about 5 lbs from the top of the healthy BMI range for my height, and it's just a pain. You've done so amazing though, I can't wait to say I've lost around 130 pounds! ikiryo, I understand where you're coming from. Using a tape measure can be another great way of measuring progress if the scale freaks you out too much! delyn, definitely listen to your body!
Alicia, yeah, it's been like that for me lately too, which is why I'm going back and catching up bit by bit while I have time! Lol. Val, I really like how strong lifting makes me feel too. I just got a very light kettlebell set (5, 10, and 15 lbs) to start out with, and I'm so excited to try it! It'll be awesome to lift heavy someday. unstoppable, 159.8 how much I weigh right now too (well, as of a few days ago) but I'm also sticking around for a few days/weeks til I'm more firmly in the 150s. Great job, I know you wanted to get to the 150s this month!
Welcome totsandfries! Traci, thanks! And good for you for peeping the 150s!!
Welcome mya! Daki, sounds like a fun challenge! MeganMary, welcome!
Veela, sometimes we need a break from all the weightloss madness, but I'm glad yours seems to be going in a positive direction!
Hey takingcontrol! Welcome to this thread! bopbot, way to go on all the positive things! puneri, me too! Losing dust to both of us to get firmly in the 150s! WannabeNurse, welcome! funsize, losing inches is fantastic! Hello, better fitting clothes!
Welcome bellydance! Nadya and running, yay! Ali87, welcome!!
I had a terrible eating weekend but didn't seem to suffer on the scale for it. I'm happy about that. My 12 year old brother from a neighboring state was visiting and it was a belated birthday celebration for him.. so I was feeding him all the foods he wanted to eat. Which was all junk. But I also took him ice skating and we were there for over an hour so I think that's what saved me.
Nice to see you again, Rainydays! And I agree, I hope Gold and Jelbb come back soon!
@mgreen - Welcome to the forums And congrats on the weight loss! =D
@rainydays - Thank you for the congrats! And that's awesome, 159.8 is amazing!
As for me... 160.6, son of a...! Oh well, I don't think I actually put on weight, I kinda cut off the decimal so I'm holding fast right on the border. Although without clothes I'd be less and I had a big dinner last night. I didn't go over my calorie intake but I think my body was like, "Whoa, wth is this stuff?!?!"
But I have awesome news - my trainer took me out on the track today to see what my form is like when I jog. He also wanted to see what time I'd come up with since two nights ago, I was at 13:33 and last night I was at 13:09. My time today was 12:22 and he said my form is actually really good for a non-runner so he wasn't going to give me any advice.
Hey everyone! I love this thread! Haven't seen the big 1-5 since '00 when I was about 14 haha.. Reaching the 150s again, not to mention for the first time in my adult life, has been a huge goal for me. Over time my average was around 185 but I got as high as 220 and am now 173. Finding this thread was exactly what I needed!
Well, I'm headed to the gym for an official weigh in this morning, to see if I've officially graduated from this thread! I'll miss you ladies, but I know I'll be seeing you soon in the 140s/150s thread!
