Yay, Hotarchuan! When you lose 10lbs (8.5 to be exact), you'll be halfway to goal! Another reason to say good bye to that 7.

Still veering between 179 to 182, yesterday did not help at all but I switched up my usual splurge day so that should help. I doubt I truly gained but we'll see.

If it's that small of a gap, I'm sure you're just fluctuating because of water weight. I was excited to be a third of the way, but now that you point it out, halfway doesn't actually sound that far out of reach If I can make goal this month, I'll be there...

I am down to 177.5 from 182.1 (yes, even the decimal points count ), so 8 more lbs and I will be officially in the 160's....

Huzzah! Congrats, penmage and Colliea! I've slowed down considerably since I got here...as of this morning I'm finally halfway through the 170s though...clocked in at 175. I have my fingers crossed for a whoosh some time soon. People keep talking about them, but I've yet to actually get on in the month and a half I've been at it so far. Maybe I'm just not whooshy. In any case, I've been working my butt off this week, so I hope it starts showing better soon.

Anyone has any suggestions on how to get out of a plateau? I am not there yet but I know invariably it will happen so I want to be prepared...maybe a change in diet? (more calories?) and more exercise? I dunno...anyone has any ideas?

I think the plateau thing would depend on your situation...usually people recommend making changes to diet and exercise and waiting a little while to see if they have any effect. Different calories and exercise in about the same proportions seem to work for some people, but I really wouldn't worry about it until you actually hit a plateau. I feel like that's one of the things that's different for everyone where you just kinda have to be flexible and roll with the punches.

Joining you ladies but not for long :-). Weighed in at 162.0 and determined to be at 160 by sunday. I recently packed on quite a few pounds, in the process of taking it off now.

Hi ladies... back on 3FC once again, and unfortunately this time I am not even close to being in my old threads of the 150s/140s. Today I weighed in at 165.8. It got to be too much when my pants which were already tight are now unable to button. I saw a video of myself from 4 years ago at the lightest weight I've been since high school (around <135) and it just got to me. I need to get back there, I'm only 5'3" and 21 years old! I'm gonna be sticking to this board for motivation, and I'll do my best to motivate you all as well. Good luck chicks!

Welcome back, skinnyelle and Elizabethyellow! I'm sure you'll be out of here long before I am at the very least...Also, I'd like to point out that both of you have ridiculously gorgeous smiles. So jealous...I never show my teeth when I smile because open-mouth smiles exacerbate my chipmunk cheeks. Why do I still have so much baby fat at almost 24?! TT^TT

Hotaruchan, I have big cheeks too! I just smile anyway Smile!

Weighed in this morning after my late-night cardio session and I'm done 1.4 pounds to 164.6. Let's see if it lasts... somehow that seems a little much right?

Ugh, I knew it was too good to last. I've been hovering between 169 and 170 for the last 2 weeks or so. Time to get out of the 170s for good!

Saw a glimpse of 178 but went back to 179, freaking scale! Still on plan and water, water and water!!! I also am expecting TOM soon so that could be it? Trying not to stress over numbers here.
