Ooooh another thread I can join in with I am currently sat at 155 which is the lightest I have been from I gave birth to my daughter nearly 3 years ago!!!

I tend to do well for a few weeks then i get stuck and mentain for ages thankfully this week was a ditch 2lbs week so its been a good one, but i REALLY really want to keep it up. I want to get under 154lbs so I can be "overweight" and start working towards being a healthy weight.

Welcome, Emmylou! It's awesome that even when you "get stuck" you tend to maintain - that's so much better than gaining the weight back! Are you doing anything for yourself (buying a magazine, a pedicure, etc.) when you reach 154/"overweight" BMI? You definitely should, that's a great accomplishment!

Aurora! I was just thinking about you! Congrats on 150.0! I'm not going to predict when we are going to move on to the 140's thread since the last time I did was about three weeks ago and look where we still are! LOL

I weighed myself this morning (I've cut down to twice a week) and I'm at 149.6! My official weigh-in isn't until Friday but I have high hopes! Good luck to everyone!

That's awesome, Civakas! You are my weight twin, so hopefully I'll be seeing a 149, soon, too

I started reading the maintenance forums today, to see what I have to look forward to.... And it made me feel really motivated. The theme was "maintenance is hard, and almost just like losing." Not sure why, but it bumped up my energy - I burned 934 calories at the gym, instead of my usual 700-800

Congrats to you girls getting so close to the 140s! I'm hoping I can bust out of this rut soon and start losing...I seem to be maintaining right now, which isn't that bad I guess. Better than gaining.

I've been so lazy...I'm really trying to make myself just go to the gym and work out but I never do. I'm hoping that streak ends today. I made a new workout plan, hopefully that will motivate me to go. I've been eating very good so far...

B: Oatmeal w/ almonds, dates, almond milk, ground flaxseed, and maple syrup
S: Corn tortilla and 1/4 avocado
L: Chicken salad w/ lite honey mustard dressing, cottage cheese w/ peaches, and a Fiber One bar
S: I'm planning on a hard-boiled egg and 3 triscuits
D: not sure yet...I forgot to take some chicken breast out of the freezer Maybe some leftover turkey chili or soup? We'll see

Good luck and keep at it girls!

Hi everyone! I'm so excited I finally get to join you... I feel like I was stuck in the 160s FOREVER!

I was 159.8 this morning...barely in the 150s but I will take it!

Morning everyone. Welcome, Fat Pants!

Yesterday was not such a good day. For some reason I got some really bad cravings and instead of eating the lunch that I packed for work, I went down to the caf. I didn't do HORRIBLE, but the calories still added up. I had a Turkey sandwich on a Ciabatta roll with kettle chips and a root beer. And as if the root beer weren't enough, I went down to the vending machines at around 4 and got some mountain dew and Reese's. To top it all off (no, I'm not done, LOL), we had a Happy Hour for a girl at work and I got a margarita and split a chicken fingers dinner with someone at TGIFridays. UGH!

Which is why it's such a MIRACLE that I was down to 154 this morning. I couldn't believe it! I almost feel like I don't deserve it, but I sure as heck updated my ticker right away! LOL. I'm FINALLY in the LOW 50's. I've been stuck at 155-156 FOREVER. Maybe I needed a big calorie day to kick my body into gear? Maybe it's a sign I need to eat more calories every day? Who knows, but I'll keep keeping track of what I eat and stuff and see how it goes. Have a great day girls!

Welcome to the 150's, FatPants!

I've been bouncing around in the 158.? for about two weeks now. Some days I'm 158.8, others I'm 158.1 ... I'd like to see 157.9 just for a change of pace. I start working with a PT on Monday morning though. I'm only doing 3 sessions, but the goal is to get myself started. I know it'll be hard work, but that's what I need. I went to a Cardio Kick class today. WOW! I feel great now, but earlier I was like, "What have I done?!!" Haha.

Congratulations Civakas, see you before long and welcome fat pants/skinny jeans

I would really like to get out of the 150s before the end of the month...sooner if possible, so I'm trying to be very good this month, staying on plan and exercising more. Hopefully it will pay off.

Civakas - no I haven't been buying treats for weight loss because I feel like I should keep myself on track anyway, not just to hit treats. If i get into a treat mentality then I wont be in the mentality of lifestyle changing, but more of wanting a treat. But that's just me, I know treats work well for others

Managed to get into the overweight bracket this week! BMI of 29.7 woohooo!! Also with the 2lbs off this week I am a step closer to the 140's as I am not 153! So heres hoping in 2 weeks I can be out of here. But if it takes me 3 or 4 so be it. All I need to know is I will NOT be going back to 11 stone anything now I am 10 stone something!

KE - well done on going to cardio kick! Sounds like great fun!

Fatpants - well done on making it into the 150's!!!

I just broke out of the 160's, after 3 months of maintaining 162. Man, I'm glad to say goodbye to that weight. Currently 157.8lbs, I want to reach 155 by Halloween so I'm working my booty off! I WILL get out of the 150's before New Years. That's a promise!

Finally saw a 158/159 this week! not ready to update my CW yet, but I do have a question for anyone that might be willing to answer... I've lost 25 lbs so far and in just a couple of months: I've been eating great, getting LOTS of exercise, and I feel great, but... I honestly can't see any big difference in myself. I see no difference at all in pictures and only minimal changes in the mirror. I've lost 0 inches off my hips (which is right where I really need the weight to go away) and even though my pants fall off me now I haven't gotten one single complement on losing weight. I've still got 30 lbs to go before I'm back to where I used to be, and I'm hoping that it'll be more noticeable as more weight comes off, but what I really want to know is: Is this weird? Has anybody else had this problem? When do you start to really notice a change?
