Hi guys! I've been weighing in between 159.9-160.9 for over a month now, as I totally quit exercising and was just able to maintain. Last Friday morning I saw 158.6 and tonight I saw 160.6. I also discovered my scale might be weighing me about a pound more than I actually do because of the surface it's on, but it's not enough to really count that. ;-)
I'm posting here to give myself extra motivation to lose those pesky ounces and JOIN THIS THREAD! :-) I started exercising again and have a goal of being here for GOOD a week from today!
Rains!! you made it!! well done! see we had a pact that we were gonna join the 150s together! i just joined the other day. i was asking about you in the 160s thread. how are you holding up? post op and all.

Rainsweptviola! Hey! It's my weight buddy! Well I've been losing uuuuber slow and am at 159 now... but you don't want to let me WIN, do you? Come on, you know you wanna beat me!!! Mwa haha. Catch me catch me if you can! I KNOW you can, girl!
I saw 159.1 today!!!! If this sticks around for five days I get to count it as real weight loss!! I have been in the 160's for SO LONG I never, ever want to see the scale go up over 159 again. Thank you for the encouragement girls!! When I saw both of you leaving the 160's thread I was like NOOOO, I mean, I'm very happy for them, but noooo don't leave without me! :-)
Megwini, I think it's so cool that you and I are both pretty much exactly the same height and weigh exactly the same right now! Seeing you lose is seriously motivation for me to keep up!! :-)
Echo, I'm doing pretty well post-op, just feeling like craaaap and not wanting to exercise at all, but going ahead with it! Music is my biggest motivation - I don't let myself listen to music at all except when I'm on the treadmill! Just walking on 3 speed is allowed post-op, but in a few weeks I want to get faster and back into semi-running. :-)
Don't leave us now, rainsweptviola! I haven't been here long anyway... just moving in. But most definitely, if someone's stats are not even close to yours you don't feel motivated by their loss, but if their weight (and even moreso if you're the same height!) is the same it's almost like you don't want to get behind! My best friend Katie is losing weight too and she's only 5'6" but we're like very close to the same weight (she was like 160 a month ago, not sure about now) so I almost feel like that's motivation not to get behind, because I gotta keep up with her. It definitely helps to keep me on track. So likewise, I'd be HAPPY to provide that extra pressure for you. *evil grin* Just give it your all and we'll be 145 in no time!

i hear ya! i was stuck in the lower 160s for over a month too! and looked over at my food journal and realised i was having way too many high calorie days.
good luck in kicking it into high gear! i'm gonna do the same this week aswell!

aww so glad you're doing well post-op. and that you made it to the 150s! i'm so happy you joined us! as we had a pact! so thats so awesome we both got here at the same time !! fantastic
So I disappeared off the face of 3FC, but I'm back with a vengeance. My goal is to reach 150 lbs by Christmas. I'm ready to kick my butt into gear, stop maintaining and start losing again!!

im expecting TOM anyday now, and i gained 1.1lb from last monday gah!!! i always gain . im hoping its just water retention.
current weight is 159.8lbs. ahhh just barely hanging in the150s. hope i dont go up to 160 and have to kick myself off this team! after just being here for a week
Aw thanks! I've always hated my hair but yesterday on a whim I scrunched it and plopped it in a towel in a manner to encourage it to wave (no products though!) and found out it's practically curly!!! Still way frizzy on top, but not so thick and unmanageable on the bottom... I think I'm just going to wear it this way all the time now.

down to 159lbs this morning - phew! lost 0.8lbs of water weight overnight. 0.3lbs away from my weight from last monday.
i'm pounding the water today! going to drink 2 litres today. chug chug chug
