Angie, I do the EXACT same thing! Feels kind of good to know I'm not totally nuts, or at least if I am nuts, I'm not the only one!

I'm so glad I found this thread. It's really giving me hope for the first time in a long time. Normally, my pizza slip from lastnight would've marked the end of the "diet" for the day if not the week. Instead, I'm doing OK today!
I also find many ways to lie to myself, as if the scale won't find out!

Talk later,
Britte

so, I added 4 activity points and then ate the following

snack

iced non fat mocha 3/6

lunch
1/3 of a frozen pizza 8/14

I have 14 points left. We are going to Famous Daves for dinner with family. I will look online to find something to eat.

Well, I'm ticked off today! Probably shouldn't be, but I am anyway. Had my weigh-in this morning. Down 1.2 pounds. I suppose that's alright, but it's my lowest loss since I started WW 12 weeks ago. This week I had one day where I couldn't calculate the points and that was Father's Day because of the brunch, but I didn't over eat or eat things that were really bad for me.

I've really got to kick it in gear this week. Thought I had been doing that. 20pts a day really sucks!

Amy- An ice cream sundae party and you abstained?!?! WOW!
That is a huge victory!! Not sure if I could be as strong!

Liz- I know the feeling of expecting a better loss than the scale gives you. It is frustrating and disappointing, but 1.2 is really good, especially with you being so close to goal! Your stats are inspirational!

Today was so-so for me. I used 8 of my wpa's, so I guess you could say I didn't do very well, but I was REALLY hungry today and I can't tell you the number of times I entertained the thought of throwing in the towel, even just for the day. So, for me, today was a success. I didn't eat everything I wanted to eat at every time that I wanted to eat! I think I may do better if I plan ahead better, so tonight before bed, I'm going to sit and plan my menu for tomorrow and see how that goes.
I just keep telling myself, "I really can do this. I really can do this." It might be starting to sink in...

'Night!

Last check in for the day. Sounds like everyone has done well.

Britte, I find that planning is the number one key to my success. I wish you luck with tomorrow.

Liz, chin up girl! May just be because you are getting so close to goal. I have heard the last 10 are the toughest. I would not know. I can't seem to get my butt down that low.

Finished off the night with

dinner
fried chicken salad minus the cheese and bacon Yay for me~~12/26

Web says 14 points for the salad. I decided to lessen that a bit.

sugar free pudding 1/27

Could have had 28 today with my activity points. I am happy.
Talk with you all tomorrow.

Well, I had WI yesterday and it was precisely what I expected, up 1.2lbs, which is ok, as I started TOM 9 days late, so the bloating is def. the cause. This week I will KICK BUTT!!! I sooooooo want to be in ONEderland, and with only 7lbs to go, it's time to get moving to get there!
Yesterday was alittle challenging, as I had lunch out w/grandma and then a night out w/the girls, but I did pretty good considering.
B: WW bar 2pts
L: Greek salad w/chicken and lt. greek dressing 8pts
(3 of kids cheese sticks 4pts)
S: ww bar 2pts
D: 6oz steak, baked potato, salad, 1/3 roll 16pts
32 out of 26...all veggies, no milk, no oil and all my water.

I am having a great day. Hope everyone else is too. I woke up at 5:30 EEK! I wanted to hit the gym with out kids before DH went to work. I only did 15 minutes on the stair master and 10 on the treadmill. However, I did put them on high levels. I burned 250 calories according to the machines. Not too bad. I went before eating anything. My trainer said that is ok to do for cardio. He said you start to burn stored fat right away that way. ??

Just made myself breakfast.....

black coffee 0/0
lite english muffin 1/1
spray butter 0/1
1 poached egg 2/3

I am going out to lunch with my sisters today. I will try to find Ruby's diner on the web, but don't know if I will be able to.

Will check in later.

Wow - I think everyone DID fabulous - and some were still so critical -
Dont you guys rememeber how we all were eatting a few months, weeks, days ago - The fact that we even trying is a Miracle. This isn't always easy - and when it isnt easy and we still do half way decent - Shoot - that is something to be proud of !!!! at least for me.

Last Night yes I could have done better - but I didnt DO BAD
By the time I got home yesterday at 2:00 in the afternoon with a house full of food - ice cream and pizza - and you name it ... it the fridge - I had 9 points - 4 from coffee - and only 5 from food ..... I was a little hungry

But I clean house instead and waited until dinner WOOO WHOOO

For Dinner we had boneless skinless chicken breasts cooked in 1 tbspn of oil

and mushroom with garlic soup and milk - Normally I serve this over mashed potatoes - or noodles

I served it over Broccoli -

I also made chicken flavored rice - I almost served myself some - actually put it on the plate - and then put it back

Served myself more broccoli - and we had a side of Brussel sprouts with cant believe its not butter melted and poured over the top ....

So here goes

Chicken in sauce - - - 9 pts/18
Brussel sprouts/CBNB - - 1/19

Snack I caved and had 1 fun size Kit Kat - - - 2pts/21 pts
later I had a Fudge Pop - - -------------- 2/23

So my total for the day was 23 pts WOOOO WHOOOOOO Not bad !!! And I enjoyed myself !!!!!!!!

So far today I have had 2 cups of coffee/sl/nondairy creamer - 2pts

I made my husband his lunch - roast beef sandwiches from our left over pot roast - and I literally went as far as taking a semi - big chunk putting it my mouth and then just as fast spit it out and decided against it !!!! Sorry so gross - - -

For BB WW Oatmeal 2/4
Snack - Cucumber w/lemon/cayenne pepper 0/4

Lunch - Salad w/Kidney beans/3oz of Chicken breast/Salsa 3/7
Broccoli ------------------------------------------------ 0/7

And then for Dinner I am PLANNING and Hoping to have left overs from last night !!!!!!

Heres to a good day Ladies !!!!!

WW wants you to have:
5 fruits/veggies
2 milks (products containing milk do count, but to count you need it to be 25%calcium or more...you can, however, add up different calcium foods, ex: a cheesestick is 20% and if you eat a WW yogurt, which is 30%, that gives you your 2 milks)
2 oils (a serving of oil is 1tsp. or canola, sunflower, olive, etc.)
6 servings of water (8oz.)

I strive to get those in, the water is very easy for me...it's the others that I have to really remember to incorporate

pmoswife - you're doing awesome! You had a GREAT food day yesterday! Good for you!

Buffalo - You are doing great, too! WTG!

It looks like we are all doing well with our food this week. We deserve a round of applause!

Today so far:

1/2 of a 12oz skim milk latte - 1pt
Low fat granola bar - 2pts

Lean ham sandwich on WW baguette - 3pts

I haven't had ANY water today, so I need to get started on it. It's cold here today (in the 50's) and it's teaming with rain. Just got back from Lily's soccer game. They play rain or shine. GRRRRR! Summer in Alaska - what joy!
