Good evening! Power walked and ran errands before I punched in at work. It's been raining all day so I decided not to go out to supper tonight. I was very busy at work today and am very tired.😃

Philemon 1:4-6
I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers, That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
Thomas was a great help with members of the group. He had lost so much weight, on more than one occasion, so he knew what it was like to triumph as well as to fall back into failure. He had rallied, though, and beaten his weight problem again. He was living proof that it could be done, and that it wasn't hopeless when temptation got the better of a person. He shared his story with many people, and he helped them through some hard struggles. He was a faithful man, and his faith shone through. God had called Thomas to a very special ministry, and he answered that call in a very special way.
Today's thought: I may fall back time and again, but I'm heading in the right direction!

Losing weight is hard. Being overweight is hard. Choose your hard.
Keep your eyes focused on your dream to help you achieve it.

Hello Everyone!
Diana: I am sure that you will get back on track. I don't know about you, but I have to change my regime, depending on the season, and sometimes it takes me a while to get a habit going...
Yangtzer: I wish that I had an 8 or 10 ft fence around the perimeter of the backyard! I do have a small dog pen where I grow my veggies in pots. Sometimes I put deer netting or chicken wire or something else to protect my plants. The critters have gotten to really be a nuisance. I saw 3 deer this am. They come here for crudites!
Sine Rose: I think I had read that some of Northern Exposure was filmed in WA state. Whatever, I really liked the humor, the cultural experience, the small town atmosphere...Your story about the show is funny. Are you a hunter?
CieCie: So glad that you are doing well...
I've had a cold, so I have done less walking and swimming, but I finally got in the pool yesterday! Diet could be better. I made cookies and I indulged myself after the election. I did find the location of a Middle Eastern restaurant, which I want to try sometime. I should have gone there in lieu of a bakery...
The weather is really dismal here. I have written out a list and have many things to accomplish. HoHum...

1 Peter 1:8-9
Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
Stephanie always had a picture of what she would look like in the back of her mind. She used to dream of how she would look once she lost weight. It was hard to imagine, but she did it anyway. That dream gave her motivation. Though she didn't really know what she'd look like, her imagination kept her on the right path. Faith means acting on what we believe, even when we can't actually see the object of our faith. Faith in God teaches us how to put faith in action. When we are motivated by what we do not yet see, we find strength and joy in the living of our lives.
Today's thought: In my mind I see a whole new me!

Exercise to be fit, not skinny. Eat to nourish your body and always ignore the haters
Teri-those interesting Northern Exposure notes were provided by Nancy. I have watched the show before and found it humorous. I am not a hunter. I love animals.
Ciecie- you are like the Eveready bunny power walking. What a motivator. 🐇😊
Diana-hope you get well from your bronchitis soon.
Yangzter-I can just imagine the fresh air you smell looking at the lake and surrounding mountain. Where did you travel to see it?

Hello everyone
Yep I am still here although I am trying to post daily, oops that didn't work.
WI up and down right now. I have not weighed in for a few days only because my evening behavior has not been in my best interest
WO Week 6 done of my weights. https://www.muscleandstrength.com/wo...orkout-routine
This is the workout I am following. I have increased the weights multiple times until I found the last few reps were hard and I could finish all 4, 3 or 2 sets. I think I have finally settled in on the right weight to challenge me and help build muscle. After all if I am 'plump' you cant see the muscle....got to work on both <sigh> I suppose.
ciecie, so glad your appointment went well
We are still bitting our nails with the sale of the building. The homeless out front seem to be spreading out even more than before. The city only takes down our complaints, the fire department will come when called for fires in a burn barrel. The police will only come to drive by to make sure there is no observed illegal activity (don't get me started). Told you my compassion meter is empty. If they respected our property I could live with that but they don't. It is a battle to keep the trash, pet waste(?), tarps, accumulated possessions away from the building. We have chemicals that go boom.
Our plan now is after the sale, then next spring, summer or soon we will pack up our house, sell the house then drive across to OH and leave DH truck there. Then take my car and travel south to find a forever home. That may be KY, TX, GA, NC, SC, sheesh.....who knows. MY daughters are in OH and AR.
I will take all the good, bad and ugly any of you know of these states, areas to gravitate towards or avoid. form all of you......
ok I am off for right now
