Me 3, I'm an emotional eater.
Food is so comforting whenever I'm bored or stressed out, LOL

Hi Everyone!

I would call mine emotional eating too.

I had a good apt today with the thyroid Dr. My numbers are off again. She is contributing it to me being ill and was very helpful with the whole situation. She also said with me being sick that it can mess up your digestive system and cause issues with acid reflux. She wants to retest again in 3 months.

DH also had an apt today as well as an apt to do labs.

No workout to report

Ate 2 meals out approx 1600 +
no workout to report

Have a Blessed evening!

Good morning! Had supper after I got home last night. Watched Wheel Of Fortune, Jeopardy and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer tonight. Also watched the final episode of MASH. I recorded it on Veterans Day. Will be shutting down in a few minutes to go to bed. 😁🌺😷❤️

Good Morning, Everyone!

Steps from yesterday: 5,735

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy.

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

November 30

Psalms 150:6

Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

The battle wasn't won yet, but Henry felt it was close. He looked better, felt better, and had a more positive attitude. Life was so much more fun, now that he was thinner. All the really hard times were behind him, and he felt his future was pretty bright. God had certainly been good to him. Every day, Henry took time out to thank God for all He had done. Henry didn't know what he'd done to deserve such great blessings, but he wasn't going to question it too much. With God's help, he had been able to do what he could never do before: lose weight!

Today's thought: God's helping me be both lighter of body and lighter of spirit!

Ciecie I'm going to my primary care Dr. tomorrow. Hopefully she can shed more night on the respiratory issue. I am feeling a bit better today. Maybe it was just a 6+ week virus.

Good evening! Diana, I hope your primary care doctor can shed some light on your problem. Did 2 miles Leslie Sansone this afternoon. Power walk and ran errands this afternoon. Will have supper in a few minutes. 🎅🏻🧑‍🎄🤶🎄

Exercise
3 mile walk
30 minute walk

Meals
Breakfast-nutty cereal with soy drink
Lunch-cranberry roll, lentil and cheddar burrito, pringles chips

My exercise routine was impacted this morning. I spent time on the floor with my dog who was having respiratory issues. I thought today was going to be his last, but a few hours of dedicated attention and with prayers, he recovered and was breathing normal once again. He is now about 13 and is in stage 2 of kidney disease. So I know his days are more limited. Any vet is about 2.5-3 hours away and that is even if they will see him on short notice. I was so relieved when he got up and wanted to play ball with me. Later, I went to the grocery store and got some food. Yes, it was an emotional day, but I didn’t cave in and buy any sweets and I kept my meal portions reasonable. As far as the hubby’s diet effort, he previously said the words that he would diet too, but that is as far as it went. For me though, I’m happy that I am staying focused and committed so far.

Hi Everyone!

Tomorrow I have an apt with the primary care Dr. about the respiratory issue. Today was a much better day. I have been busy but also trying to take it easy since being sick, so I'm not pushing the workouts right now. I've actually been sick now for about 6 weeks. One day I would feel better and the next not.

SinaRose I'm glad your dog improved. It's difficult with older pets.
