Good Morning, Everyone!

Yesterday I went in for my thyroid labs. I just saw the results in my patient portal. My numbers are out of whack again. This could be the reason for some of the issues I am having. I have a follow up with the Dr. next week.

Steps from yesterday: 8,118

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy.

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

November 22

Psalm 147:1, 3
Praise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely. He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

It was more than a diet. For Gary, it was his sanity. He had been obsessed by his weight. He had lived the past three years in a deep and terrible depression. When he was at his lowest, God broke through to him. God turned Gary's life around. He finally began losing weight, and his state of mind improved dramatically. The light of God tore through his darkness with a beautiful healing warmth. Gary was healed of his physical affliction as well as the demon of depression that haunted him. God truly has the power to heal His children. No matter what the problem might be, take it to the Lord.

Today's thought: My diet affects more than just my body; it affects my heart and mind, as well!

Default You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

Weight loss is not meant to be a sprint. It’s a marathon.

Diana-I hope the Doctor can help you. Good luck.

Wow it seemed to take me forever to catch up but glad I did. Congrats to Sinarose and Diana on your losses. Yangtzer you crack me up
Ciecie and you girl and the energizer bunny until you start watching TV in the evening

WI still up but only 2lb now
WO 1/2 way through week 8 of my 12 weeks.

The homeless are still there and the camp is growing. Frustration is through the roof along with the burning sensation in my tummy now. Security alarm keeps going off and we have to go check on the doors or else be charged no over $100 a visit by the police if there is no crime in progress.
The buyer wants to meet with DH this afternoon. I am so scared he is backing out. You can't even see the "FOR SALE" banner on the building because of all the RV's now parked on the street in front.

I will try and post more regularly it is just hard right now. Just trying to keep my emotions in check.

Exercise was moderate today. Still too icy for long walks, and yes the dark days are longer. Eating could have been better.

Yangzter-congratulations on you 2 lb loss

Nancy- hope the homeless in your neighborhood find somewhere else more suitable for them.

Diana-wishing you a stress-free day filled only with good news.

Good morning! Diana, let us know what the endocrinologist says. I used to see an endocrinologist. He helped me considerably. He was also a very nice man. Did 2 miles Leslie Sansone. Will have breakfast in a few minutes. 😁🌺😷❤️

Default Yesterday you said tomorrow.

Junk food you’ve craved for an hour, or the body you’ve craved for a lifetime? Your decision.

Take care of your body. It’s the only place you have to live in.

Good Morning, Everyone!

Yesterday I had an apt about insurance. I walked but not much. I have a hair apt today as well other things I need to get done. We'll see if I get a walk in.

Steps from yesterday: 4,614

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy.

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

November 23

Matthew 13:45-46
'Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.'

A diet that worked! It wasn't anything fancy. It wasn't anything expensive. It didn't involve equipment or special treatments. In fact, it was a diet that anyone could do. Sally sat and talked with her pastor for about an hour, and he helped her see why she should diet for her own good, as well as for God. Her pastor has been a support for her ever since, and she has included God every step of the way. She feels stronger than ever before. It is like finding a treasure. She was so excited and so thankful. God has given her something that no one else can: a better figure and a deep, abiding joy.

Today's thought: My weight will be lost, no matter the cost!

Hi!

Hello! Hello!

Diana: So sorry you have a wacky thyroid. ...I wish that I had the energy of an 18 yo!

Yangtzer: I watch these You Tube videos of people who make a living making videos of dining out...among other things...Some people are really good about maintaining their weight, and others have a big problem. I think maybe the ones that can control their weight do it by portion control...especially with the desserts...

CieCie: Did you get much snow?

Nancy: Homelessness is a big problem...but especially out west where property is so expensive. So sorry that you have to be a direct witness to it...

I am back in the pool and I am back using the efflexor and I also used the rowing machine and the bike... Diet is a little off. I made some oatmeal cookies and some pumpkin cookies. And Halloween candy has been a problem... I know that this will pass.

The good news is that I wrote out a big list of things that I need to accomplish and I have been doing something every day. I feel a lot of stress this time of year, because there is so much to do!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Good afternoon! Teri, we only got 42.5 inches of snow where I live. Took the bus to a nearby community to power walk and run errands there. Took the 11:15 bus home. Had lunch when I got home. Will go for a power walk and run errands in a few minutes. 😁❤️😷🌺
