Congrats to all. There are some great losses going on here!

I'm down 1.2lbs today but I had a MASSIVE night out on the beers last night with an old colleague who came to town. Sorry wannaskipandlaugh, I should have listened to you. I drank at least five Imperial IPAs which is at least 1000 calories. I just made it home (walked). So the challenge today will be to keep the weight off as there will be some rehydration.

The calories do not worry me as beer calories are not the same as food calories. Trust me on that. But water is an issue. So watch this space tomorrow to see the effects of my beer binge! Could be a gain or a stall. Or I could get lucky!

Ian... I have to ask.... Do you find that since you have lost (alot) of weight, that you drink less to get a buzz (less body weight to absorb the alcohol) ? I remember in the past that as I lost alot of weight...after only a few drinks I was toast (cheap date)... but when I was heavier, I could drink shots and still have my falculties about me. Just wondering if your weight loss affected the Buzz? Just curious.... Glad you had a good time with your friends especially since it has been awhile and did that person compliment you on your loss? I sure do hope you DO NOT have a headache today!! lol

I definitely got there quicker last night Wannaskipandlaugh than I used to, so yes. To be honest, I never used to be able to get drunk and could mostly just keep drinking all night (a bit like you describe). Last night, I had that "enough" feeling which I have not had for some time. I'm glad I listened to that feeling! No headache today, but the walk home last night was interesting and not entirely straight!

LOLOLOL were you bouncing off the street lights? Stopping at a door that wasn't yours? just kidding. Thank you for your info.. I kinda thought that it was true. I went to a party for my friend who turned 52 or 25 as he calls it and enjoyed myself and actually had a nice man try to make an impression on me (until he hit the tree several times instead of the bathroom LOLOL)

The new avator image is very impressive. There is a BIG difference from the last one. I am so very happy for you...

Caved & had two weight watchers ice creams last night. It put me over my calories, but not too bad, cuz I didn't log my exercise (I dont know how, its not on MFC's exercise, & Ive no idea how many calories I've burned).

My body is SO unforgiving. The second I go over 1200 calories, there's NO loss and a huge gain. I am a naturally really petite person,. 5'3", before I gained weight, I weighed 115 soaking wet, small bone structure... Could my body be telling me that I need to be on a higher deficit to lose weight? Or overall, I don't need as many calories as others at my size do? I"m confused by my body, but I've noticed a pattern... I HAVE to have at least 200+ calorie deficit to have any kind of loss, and even then, they're really small. So frustrating!

Way to go SHAMAC!! You are doing reallllllllyyyy well ... meeting goal before the month is even 2/3rds done.. I say WELL DONE. and I am JEALOUS... But so very happy for you. Wow... I wonder how much you are actually going to lose this month!!

Ghostly... Not to worry your body will rid itself of that WW extra really its just water and it will go away !

Saharag..... Your scale is going in the right direction I bet you make your goal.... still have 1/3 of the month left and that's plenty of time for that scale to be nice


Just think all.... How much lighter we all will be at the end of the month from when we started. Pretty neat!
